The conical hat is always associated with the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. The image of conical hats is always present throughout the land of Vietnam. It is the beauty, charm, idyllic and rustic of the Vietnamese people. The predecessor image of the conical hat appeared around 2500 – 3000 BC. Have you ever wondered how conical hats are made? Join the Vietnam Village Vibes team to discover the hat village in Hanoi and experience the process of making conical hats – one of the typical symbols of Vietnam! We visit this village, meet the handicraft local artisans and learn how to make the product. Decorate the Vietnamese traditional hats by paiting them at your own.
Although Quang Phu Cau incense village has existed for more than a hundred years, up to now, this place still exists and becomes one of the special beauties that clearly depicts the culture of the countryside in the Northern Delta. Coming to Quang Phu Cau incense village, you can not only visit and listen to stories about incense making but also have the opportunity to check-in with the eye-catching “giant flowers” here. Pack your suitcase and join Vietnam Village Vibes to discover Quang Phu Cau Incense Village! We visit the village, have time for taking some photo in the beautiful and colorful scene of the village. Then we will visit the factory where you will see how the local people produce the incense sticks. After that, back to the city center.
Enter Vietnam's first national university, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, scholars, and the country's greatest intellectuals. Explore the serene courtyards, stone steles bearing the names of doctoral graduates, and beautifully preserved traditional architecture. Your guide will explain the site's profound role in Vietnam's educational and cultural history.
Continue to the Ba Dinh Square precinct for a photo stop outside three of Vietnam's most historically significant buildings: the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the elegant Presidential Palace, and the National Parliament building.
Your journey concludes with a return to Hanoi, with the option to be dropped off at the famous Train Street or another location of your choice.
Visit the Hoa Lo Prison - a site that encapsulates two distinct chapters of Vietnamese history. Originally built by French colonial authorities in the late 19th century to house political prisoners, it later became widely known during the Vietnam War as the 'Hanoi Hilton.' Walk through the preserved cells and exhibits, and hear your guide's account of the resilience of those held within its walls.

She did a wonderful job, gave us the history behind everywhere she took us. We enjoyed the incense field and the process behind how it is made, the lotus silk, weasel coffee and more. This was an excellent tour from beginning to end! Everything was exceptionally well organized, engaging, and thoughtfully planned. Our tour guide, Tom, deserves special recognition. He was enthusiastic, kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. Tom made sure everyone had opportunities to participate in the hands-on activities and took the time to explain the history and traditions behind everything we experienced. From learning how incense are made to visiting a local village and seeing the women create traditional Vietnamese conical hats, Tom made each stop interesting, educational, and memorable. What stood out most was Tom’s genuine care for the group. He continually checked on everyone, made sure we were comfortable, and paid attention to the little things that made a difference. His passion for sharing Vietnamese culture and his warm personality made this experience truly special. I highly recommend this tour! I hope Tom receives the recognition he deserves because he is doing a wonderful job. I would happily recommend him to anyone visiting Hanoi!
