My guide Leon was a happy, informative guide. I enjoyed seeing the process of making incense. The incense photo area is not a farm. It is set up for pictures FYI. The drive is long but it is nice to see a different area of Hanoi. Leon was a great picture taker. My tour dropped us off for train coffee and you get back to your location on your own. The workshop hat is quick, don’t expect perfection!
Solo was easy with Leon! He took all my pictures at the village. Just know the village is pre constructed as a place to take pics. It isn’t a field, rather set up areas you can take various pictures. The process was explained and you can see the incense in various stages. Train street is a drop off on your own. FYI The hat painting wasn’t mentioned for this trip, but we did it. The first
Tom was a great tour guide! We were picked up from our location, then he started the tour with fun facts in the van, we went to Train Street and we got to order drinks. He gave us clear instructions for when the train passes through. He happily answered questions about Train Street and Vietnam. Then, we headed to Incense Village. He took a lot of photos of the group members. We also got to observe and make incense firsthand.Super Nice trip & Highly recommended
I was so looking forward to this tour on my first full day in Vietnam. I was to be picked up at 8 so I was out in front of my hotel by 7:45. When no one had arrived by 8:30, I contacted the tour company directly with no response. I repeated attempts at contact at 8:45 and 9:30 before I finally gave up, having sacrificed two hours of my day. I then contacted Viator and did receive a quick refund.
It was a good sightseeing tour to see a lot in one day. However, I booked a small group tour and it seemed quite large in size. Also, we went to see one of the stops and when we came back on the bus it smelled of cigarettes. Overall made the most of the experience and met nice people but the tour was a bit disappointing.
Our full-day tour of Hanoi was an excellent experience, thanks to our knowledgeable and attentive guide. He provided detailed historical insights at every destination and was always patient in repeating or clarifying when needed. His enthusiasm kept the group engaged, especially when we started feeling tired, and he chose a charming local restaurant for a delicious lunch. The highlight for me was visiting the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, made even more impactful by the guide’s thorough explanations. The itinerary was well-packed, with a comfortable bus and a skilled driver ensuring a smooth and safe journey. Overall, it was a well-organized tour that gave us á deeper appreciation of Hanoi’s history and culture
I enjoyed this tour very much and learnt a lot about Vietnamese history and culture. Our guide, Mr Lee, was excellent. He gave us good information and handled a difficult situation with obnoxious guests calmly and professionally. Highly recommended.
The Hanoi City Tour was an unforgettable experience that truly included me to the vibrant culture and history of Vietnam’s capital. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate, making each site come alive with fascinating stories. I loved how the tour efficiently covered all the major attentions, allowing us to enjoy everything without feeling exhausted in the heat. One of the highlights for me was the delicious vegan lunch. The server was so attentive, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The solemnity of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the serenity of a beautiful Buddhist Pagoda, every moment was special.
The short day trip to visit Hanoi was great. We had breakfast at the hotel and then someone came to pick us up. The first destination is Tran Quoc Pagoda, a temple with a long history here. It's very crowded here, people are constantly coming in and out. The pagoda is located on a large lake called West Lake - the view here in the morning is really beautiful. Continue to visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of Vietnam, many objects from ancient times are preserved and saved. One Pillar Pagoda is also a spiritual place with unique and impressive architecture. Take a break then continue to Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as Hoan Kiem Lake, where the turtle lives. I really like this place, from the people to the air - very fresh. People walk around the lake under big green trees. Even going to Ngoc Son Temple is right on Sword Lake. A trip worth experiencing, passing through many beautiful and ancient streets. I think everyone should go on this tour to explore more about Hanoi.
A day tour worth experiencing, walking around Hanoi for a day with the first stop at Tran Quoc Pagoda. The tour guide said this pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century. The pagoda is located on the West Lake water looks like a small island. The guide said the afternoon sunset here is also very beautiful and relaxing. The next location is President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, a green grass square. We walked around the garden, fish pond, house where the person lived and worked. Going to the next point is the One Pillar Pagoda - a pagoda with unique architecture. With its ancient architectural beauty and historical values, this temple will bring you a visual, attractive about Vietnamese Buddhist culture. Stop for lunch at a restaurant with traditional dishes. My favorite place On this trip are Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Hoan Kiem Lake is also known as Sword Lake, where there are turtles walking under the trees Around the lake is very cool and enjoyable. Feeling very comfortable in the afternoon.
It was a great trip.Definitely the Tour guide made our day special 🥰. It was great pleasure meeting Ms. Young... Thank you for being such a host. 🥰
I went to Hanoi yesterdat and I really like the atmosphere here. Although I have not seen all of Hanoi’s capital, it feels like I belong here. HaNoi people are really interesting, my family chose a house of HaNoi origin to explore during our holiday time. When contacting them more, I learned, guided by them, I found that HaNoi people are lovely, they have a very civilized and polite life. I also love the foods here especially “Pho Ha Noi” . Thanks to our tour guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable, she know all things here, told us about the culture and about the local people’s life. We will spend more time to keep exploring here next time
A very good guide who not only showed us all the key sights but also stayed on to help us change hotels. The tour guide was called Rose and was really excellent asking us what we wanted to see and also making suggestions from her experience. We have a great day seeing all the major things and enjoying traditional Vietnamese lunch at a really good restaurant. All tickets and lunch were included in the price. Rose spoke excellent English flush and took time to explain what was what and a lot about the history of Vietnam and Hanoi in particular. A great day with a great!

Great way to explore the city for first timers! My favorites are the Spice Market (that houses a lot of stores selling pasalubongs and collectibles) and the Golden Horn. Our tour guide was really helpful and interactive with us. Highly recommend this tour!
The best tour I experienced in terms of flexibilities, hospitality, stories and discoveries. The guide is genuinely interested in the questions she asked and shared a lot of his stories and background which was really enjoyable. We went through local streets and saw many different sights which her narrated the background of them all. We also bought a lot of souvenirs and specialties in Istanbul during the trip. I can only recommend you to book this tour because they're awesome.
This tour is just so packed with activities that will keep you entertained and engaged all day! Our guide is also hilarious, funny and helpful. He shared with us the traditions and history of the people of Turkey via Golden Horn. we felt safe by virus in the city this may be one of the most adventurous things we had done but also the best experience learning and experiencing local life in Istanbul the biggest highlight of our trip! I recommend this definitely to anyone looking for an activity packed fun day with unique shopping experiences!
The Golden Horn, the Bosphorus and you see where Asia meets Europe And it’s duty free shops are big and every items available there chocolates perfumes jewelry gifts item and many many more. The staff are attentive. Best prices for items. Overall beautiful airport and best duty free shopping.
I used to hear a lot of Hanoi, Hanoi’s food, Hanoi’s people, Hanoi’s view... all of them make me want to traveling to Hanoi. On my vacation in June, i decided to come to here and luckly i was suggested to join in a Hanoi street food walking tour. Everything on the tour was perfect, from a a enthusiasm tourguide to food. They didn’t make me disappointed🥰🥰. I love Hanoi, i love street food🍡🍛🥙
I went to Hanoi to work and luckily I have introduced the Hanoi Street food Tour. I am very impressed with the food here. Such as Bun Cha Tra Chanh. Besides, my tour guide makes me happy with the story about the history of Hanoi. He is lovely and friendly. I not only have to try delicious food but also I have made some new friends. The culture is of street food very interesting and wonderful. I will introduce my friend to come to Vietnam and take part in the Hanoi Street food Tour.
Hanoi is the first place of our vacation in Vietnam. Fortunately, we found a great guide - Mr Huy. He is friendly and sense of humor and he is from “ Hanoi Street Food Walking Tour “ in here. Thanks to him, we can enjoy street food in Hanoi in the most comfortable way. We have had so many funny memories 😆 I had a chance to make some new friends and it’s very interesting experiences. The food here doesn't disappoint us. I especially love dishes like Pho, Bun Cha, Spring Rolls , Bun Dau Mam Tom,... Moreover, Hanoi is especially in that there are many street food stalls and I really love it 😍 There are so many wonderful things here. I just want to say I Love Hanoi. I Love Vietnam 🇻🇳
Hanoi is so busy and also beautiful all day and night. I had an amazing trip to this city few month ago and couldn't forget this place. The most attractive part is food of Hanoi, the local delicacies is so special and delicious with me. Wonderful street bear a remarkable tradition and culture of this city. The hotel is acceptable, amazing atmosphere and the suitable weather for walking on street to taste food. Must come back there next year !!!!
Besides beautiful destinations, Vietnamese cuision is very delicious, fast, cheap which attracts a lot of travellers everyear. I am one of them. Walking on the Old Quarter, I can enjoy some sepcial famous street food, such as Bun rieu, Pho, Com with bananas, Cha ca La Vong. The local people who was very friendly and nice served carefully. The style in some restaurants is a little bit of ancient, old. All of things helped me feel comfortable and happy. Thank so much my tourguide who is very helpful and cute 🖤
I’ve had few days around Hanoi. This place is busy with lots of activities. And food is one of its attraction. Street food is full of local delicacies, cheap and easy to eat. They’re very tasty and delicious. Walking around, seeing scenery with perfect food is so amazing for me. Surely I will visit this place again in the future!!!
One recommendation before taking this tour, save your belly because it’s going to be so much full. Street food in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi was extremely delicious. I had the opportunity to find this tour at my last day in Hanoi. Let’s imagine after several days experienced all the scenery in and near Hanoi, the last day must be spent for less activity stuff. I chose to take Hanoi street food tour and not a single minute I regret about this. First of all, throughout the tour guide’s word, every dish he introduced for us had a long tradition behind it, some of them still remains the same flavor from the past and some had been developed. Walking around on the streets of Hanoi Old Quarter, then discover the restaurants hiding themselves on bustling street, I realized the signature of street food in Vietnam: “fast, cheap, convenient and tasty”. The tour guide introduced me bun cha, spring rolls, pho (one of the most famous Vietnamese foods in the world), Nom Bo Kho and Che - the tradition and unique in Vietnam. In addition, I could not miss the well-known drink of Hanoi - the egg coffee. The sweetness and bitterness of coffee blended with the fat of an egg had created the whole new flavor for coffee. Taking this tour, it’s not just going around and tried new cuisine but what important is I had a chance to involve in the environment here, after the long hours working in the office, everybody seems happy to sit with each other and they talked all the time, create the lively for the whole street. Street food is a signature of Hanoi but what making that scene into perfection is the noisy and energetic environment in there.
Referring to Vietnam, foreign tourists cannot help but remember the street food culture with delicious and affordable dishes of Vietnamese people. Pho is a special gift of Hanoi. But I really like the noodles mixed here. Mixed noodle soup is one of the closest variations of noodle soup in addition to stir-fried noodles, rice noodle soup or fried noodle soup. people eat thanks to the cool bar of chopped herbs, the strong taste of delicious sauce with the fat leopard of chicken, peanuts, onion. I am very like foods
Absolutely loved local food walking tour with Thanh -The best professional local tour guide in Vietnam we have ever met.He was happy to answer all our questions during the tour.we try some kind of authentic and traditional vietnamese food.they all tasted amazing . highly recommended this private tour to anyone.
We had a great time on a food tour with the tour guide. His English is great, knowledge of the foods, area, and history. He took us to some excellent places to try Vietnamese cuisine, learning more about Vietnamese culture. We were fully satisfied with this tour.
Not only Asian cuisine fans will like this tour but also everyone who loves to eat ! Highly recommended for sure

I added on a Hanoi day tour very last minute and Harry from IndoChina offered assistance immediately. Originally he was the one looked after both day tour and night food tour, unfortunately, he was feeling poorly and assigned a lady tour guide called Van for us.

Although she is young at age, not only she appeared to be very knowledgeable on Hanoi history, she also showed her genuine care on take care of my

As my mum was too tired after day trip, we had the night food tour cancelled, though, we did have a good time. :

Excellent services,Great tour guide ,We had the pleasure of having a private tour with Mary to a whole heap of delicious street food spots in Hanoi. Thanh was awesome. Friendly, fun, great English and very knowledgable. She was so flexible and added stops to our tour when we mentioned being interested in trying a specific food. She was so genuinely interested in us having a good time in Vietnam. She even helped us organise other tours in Hanoi and Hoi An. Would highly recommend.

It. Was. Great! We had so much fun and we were so full we had to surrender. And our guide seemed quite disappointed that we didnt get to taste all the food he intended for us to try.

Our guide, Tommy, was a really great guide. All our tour guides in Hanoi we booked 4 separate tours were goood but Tommy is our uninamous favorite.

We were late in starting our food tour almost 8pm instead of 6pm because we arrived very late from our previous day tour but he patiently waited for us. We were ok to end our tour at 9pm as per orIginal itinerary but Tommy would have none of it. We ended about 11pm, but only because we already surrendered.

We loved all the food we tried in Hanoi. From hot noodle soup, to cold noodles, to street bbq and kebab, to local sweets, to egg and coco coffee, etc. Tommy brought us not only to the places frequented by tourists but also to places where only locals would normally go.

Oh, and of course we ate on the sidewalks like everybody does. It was quite a gastronomic experience for our entire family.

We couldn't go to the incense village, so we made a Full-day tour of hsnoi. So we visited the main points. The guild was very kind and attentive.
I have many countries but maybe Vietnam is the place where the cuisine and history of this place are most interested. Visit Hanoi at night and enjoy a variety of food. The ingredient does not contain any ingredients. I ate Pho, Bun Cha, and the last one I love is B. Besides, we can walk around Ha Noi Street with Xich Lo. Great. I love street food and Vietnam too. I'll go back there again.
