Take a walk to see how locals make incense on the artisanal, family scale. Meet a family who specializes in dyeing incense sticks and take in the colorful bundles of incense. Learn how incense is made from scratch and more about the lives of manual workers. Take home memories of your visit with incense souvenirs from the place they’re produced before returning to Hanoi.
11h00: Get on limousine back to Hanoi City 12h30: Have lunch with Vietnamese cuisine at our Luxury restaurant name “ Mesdames Linh Cuisine”.
13h45-14h00: Visit Temple of Literature - the Vietnam’s first national university, the temple was founded and first built in 1.070 at the time of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong.
15h00: We continue to visit Hoa Lo Prison - was built in Hanoi by French in dates ranging from 1886 to 1889 to 1898 to 1901, when Vietnam was still part of French Indochina. The French called the prison “ Maison Centrale ” which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam for United States prisoners of war during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1973. 16h00-16h30: Tour ends. Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Good experience with heritage tours.. their limousine bus was very comfortable. Food had decent veg options and LOI was an amazing entertainer. He even provided an edited video at the end of the day.

I had a fantastic day trip to Ninh Bình today, and I wanted to share my extremely positive experience. The entire journey was seamless and well-organized. I must specifically commend our guide - Viet. Their command of the English language was truly excellent, which significantly elevated the quality of the tour. Furthermore, their detailed and captivating descriptions of the historical sites and the rich history of Vietnam were incredibly enriching. I learned so many fascinating facts that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. I’ve done a tour like this before and this was far better. Hai Dang was the best guide as he was super knowledgeable and had a great personality. The tour was great! It had 3 activities that were well paced. I did not feel rushed. The bus was super comfortable for the trip. The lunch was super tasty… loads of variety. Could not have asked for a better day.
Probably the worst tour ever. It’s not what is advertised in the web. It took us almost 4 hours to drive to the village and back to Hanoi. You don’t meet a local family and see how they do incense. It’s more like a fabric and they have a place with colorful incense sticks to do the pictures. It’s just a tourist thing. Very crowded. It’s not a truly and real experience like you imaging. If you just want the pics well then go. We spend so much time in the car. After that the guide took us to a souvenir shop that wasn’t in the itinerary and was quite expensive. Lunch ok. The prison in tiny. We asked her why it was demolish 80% and she didn’t really explain it. We had to ask a guide from another tour that we had later and he explained really well why. We were so tired and disappointed that we didn’t end the tour. So we didn’t get to see the literature temple. Today I got a WhatsApp message from the tour guide telling they really sorry for not meeting the expectations, so they wanted to do a 50% refund by Viator to make us feel better but it wasn’t just a refund. She asked to erase my review on TripAdvisor because it will hurt the business and they will try to make things better with time. So for me is a no. I use the reviews to make a choice of the tour companies and this is buying me to not get a bad one. It’s not how things are done.

Well this plan was not planned by me. When I stepped in the city your travel desk person Hana suggested me about it. My tour Guide was Linh. I must say this is one of the best one day trip of my life. Linh is just too good. She was very clear in her explanation and her explanation helped me a lot to understand the culture of Vietnam. Now I have fair idea about historical kings and few customs and traditions of the country. A tourist guide like Linh is fabulous for tourists and precious asset for organisation. Please try never to loose her.

It was a smooth trip! The boat was a bit long, but otherwise the food was delicious and we enjoyed the view!
Luca, a guide, was in charge of the project. He was a gentle and friendly person and I was able to participate with peace of mind. We went to Ha Long Bay, and the bus was safe to drive, the seats were spacious, and the sailors on the cruise were all pleasant. The weather was bad for a moment, but they adjusted it to allow us to participate in all the processes and we enjoyed the boating, hiking and limestone caves. It was something I would love to go on another tour.
