We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Vietnam. Everything was very well organized, from the hotels and transportation to the sightseeing and overall support. Sapa was the highlight—the beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere were unforgettable. Our tour guide was extremely caring, friendly, and supportive throughout the trip, which made the experience even more special. We had compared several agencies before booking, and we’re very happy with our choice. A truly beautiful and hassle-free Vietnam experience. Highly recommended! 💜🇻🇳

Itinerary
08:00 - 08:30: Tour guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House.
First, you will set your foot at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi from 6th century. The pagoda has a good position near West Lake. In Lunar New Year, the pagoda always attracts a big amount of people with good luck wishes before finishing the tour.
Next, we visit the Complex of President Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Stilt house), this is place where our great leader lived and worked until the last years of his life. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about Uncle Ho's simple life. In addition, stop by One Pillar Pagoda to admire one of the 4 symbols of Hanoi. Note: On every Mondays, Fridays and annual maintenance and restoration from September 4 to November 2, 2026, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed, we just visit outside.
This is the most recent yet probably the largest and undoubtedly the most interesting Museums in Ha Noi and Viet Nam. There are both indoors and outdoors section, while the in – housed exhibition is particularly informative, the outdoors display and activities make the museum stand out from the rest. There are a number of houses modeling after the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those who live in Northern and Central highlands. The Museum closes on Mondays and New Year Holidays, we visit Ho Chi Minh museum OR Vietnamese women museum instead
After lunch at local restaurant, we visit Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Imperial Academy), which was considered the first university in Vietnam. Literature lake, Khue Van Pavilion, stele house... are valuable highlight objects that you cannot ignore. The tour guide will tell you about of 82 doctor stele stones with names of 1306 people standing until nowadays. After that, we will have lunch at local restaurant.
We will continue tour at Hoa Lo prison, one of the most “terrible hell” in Vietnam in 20th century. The prison was established 1896 by French colonial government to detain political prisoners. Spend your time to listen stories about Vietnam war from tour guide while observing items in the prison. The city tour ends. You can choose to continue with Cyclo ride or having Water Puppet show (select options)

I loved my trip to Hanoi it was so much fun and very well organised. transport and stay arranged by Julie was excellent.
It was an excellent experience..Everythign was arranged on time with no delays. The guide which was arranged(Phat) we too good.
We had a very nice tour of the city highlights visiting the Pagoda, the post office, war remnants museum, presidential palace and more. Son Alex was our guide and he knew the details and gave us a fantastic day!
Thùy was a great guide, knowledgeable and helpful. The trip offered insights into Vietnam’s capital city and the history that formed this country. A Buddhist temple, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and homes, and the very moving War Museum all helped to tell the story. I have an allergy to MSG and they made sure that I was provided with lunch dishes without MSG in them. I would heartily recommend adding the Water Ballet in the evening. It was delightful.
Seamless Vietnam Experience I started coordinating with Carl from October for our Vietnam trip after one of my friends shared his contact. From day one until the very last minute in Vietnam, he was simply extraordinary. He did everything possible to ensure a completely seamless and stress-free experience. I honestly wish that every country had a “Carl” to plan itineraries. Without a doubt, I would recommend him to anyone planning a Vietnam trip. One of the most impressive parts was how he managed last-mile connectivity. He took care of every detail, including local transfers and internal flights, ensuring nothing was left to chance. Regarding payments, he was extremely flexible and trustworthy. He accepted my request to pay only a minimal amount initially, with the majority paid after arriving in Vietnam. Not once did he push or remind me for payment, which speaks volumes about his professionalism and integrity. This was our honeymoon trip, and even though I never met Carl in person, he became an unforgettable part of our journey. Every time I think of Vietnam, I’ll remember him. Thank you so much, buddy 😊
We had an incredible experience booking our Halong Bay 2D1N cruise and Hanoi city tour through Stella at GADT Travels. Our assigned tour guide was exceptional—highly fluent in English and incredibly knowledgeable. Every landmark was explained with such clarity and detail, which truly enriched our understanding of Vietnam’s history and culture. Highly recommended!

My trip to Hanoi was truly remarkable! The city’s vibrant culture and beautiful landmarks made for an unforgettable experience. The airport transfer was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone from the start. We had a great time visiting the Grand Wonder Hanoi, strolling down the bustling Night Train Street, and enjoying the lively Beer Street. The shopping opportunities were fantastic, with a wide variety of unique items to bring home. A big thank you to our guide, Amy, who went above and beyond to make our trip special. Her expertise and friendly nature added so much value to our experience. Do’s: Immerse yourself in the energy of Night Train Street and Beer Street. Visit the stunning Grand Wonder Hanoi. Take time to shop in the local markets for unique finds. Visit some of old buildings
I had an incredible time on my Hanoi city tour! From the seamless airport transfer to exploring the Grand Wonder Hanoi, Night Train Street, and Beer Street, every moment was fantastic. Shopping in the local markets was a highlight, offering unique souvenirs. A special shoutout to our guide and now friend, AMY. Her knowledge and kindness made our trip unforgettable. Thank you, Amy, for your great help and for making this experience so enjoyable. Do's: Enjoy the vibrant Night Train Street and Beer Street. Explore the Grand Wonder Hanoi. Shop in the local markets for unique souvenirs. Don'ts: Don't rush your exploration. You'll need more time to fully appreciate everything Hanoi has to offer. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi!
The itinerary and transfer between the places were ok/as expected, it was very disappointing to book an English speaking guide but then get grouped together with a large Vietnamese speaking group - this really should have been two separate groups. The result was, for the people speaking English, we had the minimal explanation and guidance (a lot of the places we were left to read our own descriptions on the buildings) as the guide’s attention and focus was on the larger Vietnamese group, which we were not able to understand or interact with. This should have been much better organised as the one day highlight of Hanoi, especially as there are several other tour groups offering a very similar itinerary.
Interesting facts about their country. Thuy is knowledgable and always smiling. Driver is patient too. Enjoyed the tour.
Our one day trip tour with Phuc was really good! He was so knowledgeable and took us to a lot of interesting places in Hanoi! Can’t recommend him enough!
This was a fantastic way to spend a morning in Hanoi! Phuc came to our hotel directly and took out a map and custom tailored a tour experience to our liking. We were impressed with his knowledge of the area and the insight given. Phuc is a very kind young man, takes great photos too! Very happy with his tour.
We definitely enjoyed our walking tour in Hanoi with Laura thoroughly. She is punctual in picking us from our hotel. She is warm, helpful and approachable. She is very knowledgeable and gave us great insights into Vietnamese history. Though our group consists of six people, she is patient and gave each of us personalised attention. She prcovided us with lots of information about the history and culture of all the sites we visited. She also brought us to savour some local delights. We simply loved the food she had recommended. She also introduced the coconut coffee to us. We all love that too.To end the tour on a high note, she helped us purchase the tickets for the famous water puppets.Truly a great experience for my family . We greatly thank Laura for the wonderful experience.
I had a day tour in Hanoi with my husba nd. Actually I did not expect too much in this tour. But the guide and their service made me change my mind. They helped us to explore many things in Hanoi and tried delicious foods. I will recommend this tour for my friends. Thank you so much!
Great guide, show me everything that a foreigner have to know about the city and if you are brave enough you totally should try the local all Vietnamese lunch
Excellent guidance by Lily (guide) on the history of Vietnam, knowledgeable and friendly. Kudos to GoAsia day trip!
Our tour of Hanoi was excellent! Our guide Ngoan Nguyen was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and she spoke very good English. We were able to walk to all of the sights and then had a wonderful lunch at the end. I would definitely recommend taking this tour!
That was such an extraordinary one-day-trip in Hanoi. My fav part of the day was enjoying the good foods at Hanoi Old Quarters. The egg-coffee was spendid. Only if we have more time and rooms for more foods here. It was impossible to wrap it all in a day, so definitely coming back for it
Amazing tryp in Hanoi with the best guide ever. Huong is the sweetest girl who’s speak a very good english and knows a lot of history. Couln’t love it more!
WORST EVER. I repeat WORST tour ever. Tourists looking to book with this agency, please please do read through this lengthy account and be forewarned about this SCAM of a company. I had booked this tour pre departure from Klook.com which sells tours with partner local tour operators. I had booked a couple of services from them before but first time in Hanoi. It was also our first holiday to Hanoi. We came from Manila. The only flight from our city to Hanoi arrives at half past midnight. We arrived at our hotel around 2am. As I planned the itinerary, I knew it would be an exhausting first day however we wanted to make the most out of our short holiday. We woke up early, RUSHED through breakfast and was waiting at our hotel lobby by 8am sharp as indicated in the tour voucher. We were waiting for 10 minutes, no one came for us. I figured the driver was probably picking up tourists from different hotels around the Old Quarter but I called the number +84941618080 that was indicated in the tour voucher. I was told not to worry, the driver was on his way. 30 minutes later, still no driver. I called the number again, I was quite annoyed but was told not to worry, the driver is on his way. At this point, the hotel staff volunteered to call the number on our behalf to talk to them in their native language. Even if I had successfully called the number twice, our hotel staff was passed around in circles. We even go information that our name was not on their list. About 8:50am they finally got a hold of the tour operator and was told to wait another 10 minutes, the driver was on his way. 9:10am, still no driver. We contacted them again only to be told the truth now this time that the driver had somehow MISSED our names on his list and was not able to pick us up. A PRIVATE TOUR has been arranged for our party and is already on their way. From what I understand, a private tour is just for our group. At around 9:20am someone riding a motorcycle came to pick us up. We were told were to be ride in a taxi with him to go to the Ho Chi Minh Masoleum to catch our group that’s already there. Of course, we did not join him. Why would we join a tour group we’re already late to. We paid in FULL. THIS IS A SCAM. THE COMPANY IS A LIAR. THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ARE LIARS. They lied to us THRICE about the driver being on his way. They lied to us about not finding our name on their booking list. They lied to us about sending a private tour. We wasted 90 minutes of our vacation waiting for nothing. We prebooked the tour to avoid getting scammed, only to get scammed still. This is NOT AN ISOLATED CASE, mind you. Just the other, June 11, 2018, a similar incident happened to another group. I’ve attached the review here for your reference. I’m assuming its the same company. They sent me a lengthy apology this afternoon. What good is their apology to tourists running on limited holiday time?! We ended up booking a tour last minute which made us spend way more money that we expected. They offered a free transfer to the airport, but who in their right mind would take a transfer from their company to the airport?! An apology won’t make up to the costs we had already incurred. This company is a SCAM. Tourists BEWARE. Be warned. Book with caution!!
I did an afternoon tour with Lana (a university student) and I was her first tour. She did amazing!!! So knowledgeable and friendly.
Great guide during our free walk tour in Hanoi! She took time to explain lot of things and to answer perfectly our questions! Very friendly!
I kept my expectations low because this was a free tour. However, it turned out to be the best use of a day in Hanoi. Received a message from the office for confirmations within an hour of booking and a second message to confirm the time and guide's name. Well organized. Our guide, Elva met us at the hotel, made suggestions and asked for our feedback in planning the day. I was impressed by her recollection of dates and facts of historical sites around the city. She was also very generous in answering all our curious questions about life and culture in Vietnam. We had lunch at a semi-fancy place which we let our guide pick. If we had to change anything, it would be to try something new off the streets in the old quarter. The duration was just right and we got to see the (compressed) best of Hanoi in a day.
We had a wonderful city tour with Linh, who is very knowledgeable and passionate about the guided trip. We learned a lot about the history and culture. We are deeply impressed by these student volunteers and really appreciate such awesome guided tour. We wish we could do more tours if we had more time in Hanoi.
Thu has been our guide, she has been very close, nice, friendly and has explained great the history of Vietnam! Definitely a hit!
