Sabrina was incredibly punctual, picking us up right on time from our hotel. The food selection throughout the tour was excellent — not the typical Vietnamese dishes I’ve tried before, but something unique and memorable. She is very informative and shared fascinating insights during the trip. When we stopped by several temples, Sabrina explained the history of the places and traditions of the Vietnamese people, which made the experience much richer. Overall, her professionalism, knowledge, and warm personality made this tour truly enjoyable.

We had the privilege of having Ceri as our tour guide. She was amazing! She is very friendly, flexible with our wants and needs, and knowledgeable. Not to forget, she is also a gorgeous young lady with lots of potential and talent! This tour takes away the stress of having to figure out things on our own by giving us the best that Hanoi has to offer in Old Quarter. It was well-paced with fun historical facts peppered in. Definitely worth a try, if you are stopping by Hanoi for a little trip!

Had an amazing time on the food tour!! Learned lots of interesting information on the town/area. Now for the food... It was all amazing and you'd better bring an adjustable belt as the portions were good size (more than sample size for sure!!) if you want, bring an extra 50,000vnd (plus a bit more for the group to cover the tour guide entry fee) and you can cross a bridge to a small island with beautiful pergolas and temples with amazing sites and story's of the rare turtles and the magic behind them.

Our food tour guide was Hieu. He was very informative and mixed history with every food stop. We learned Vietnamese history and tried lots of dishes. Mind and stomach very satisfied.

Sabrina (Thu) was an amazing guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent. Surprise visit was the "hidden place" without Sabrina you'd never know it was there and she gained special permission for us to visit. I was even taught how to use chopsticks! Would highly recommend if you want to try eating like the locals.

We had a really good experience. Sabrina, our tour guide took is to some really local shops to get food and a less busy spot on the train street, so we could enjoy without all the crowds. She timed it perfectly so when we sat down for a drink a train passed by! We enjoyed different kind of foods and drinks and learned a lot of new stuff from our tour guide. Sabrina was very kind and I would recommend her to everyone!

Amazing wonderful food tour! Food was so local we went to many unique delicious places. We ate 4 smaller-medium sized meals and had drinks and desert and coffee at train street all included. Tour guide was so sweet and awesome. Very knowledgeable about history and culture as-well and history of foods. Highly recommend!

I think the success of this tour is really dependent on your guide. I booked this based on the reviews but my experience was very different from what I saw in the tour description. The tour was planned poorly and the guide got lost a few times so we walked in circles in the humid heat. We spent more time walking than we did eating. We got to the train street and was told the train wasn’t arriving for an hour. So instead of getting something to eat first, we just sat at the cafe for 20 minutes, finished our drinks, and left. We did not see the train which was one of the main reasons I wanted to do a food tour that included this. As for the food, we only tried 2 savory dishes and 1 sweet dish. None of them were described in the tour description. When asked whether we would get to try the dishes that were described in the tour/seen in the tour photos, we received vague answers and ultimately did not get to try any of them. The tour concluded very abruptly after we finished the sweet dessert. Net-net: the tour promised we would get to try 5-8 dishes but we only got 3 that were not even described in the tour. I won’t name the guide but if you book this please know it’s really the luck of the draw when it comes to who you get and the type of experience you will receive.

Henry gave us a genuine insight into daily life in Vietnam. He is incredibly knowledgeable, open, and super fun to talk to. We learned so much and had a blast hanging out with him! ​Seeing the Train Street with him was a highlight, and the entire atmosphere was just perfect.
