Our guides Eddie and Hana were great. They catered for every need of our group, were knowledgeable about local culture and nature and they were both good communicators: Hana energetic and Eddie quiet and thoughtful. Divi Travel should be proud and happy about their guides Hana and Eddie.

I did the 3 day/2 night trip from Hanoi to Mai Chau and Pu Luong. Lin was our guide in Mai Chau and Hana and Eddie were our guides in Pu Luong. They were all fantastic! I was so impressed with their knowledge and really felt like I learned a lot about cultures and different ethnic groups. We're saw amazing scenery and were treated to incredible meals as well. Great experience and would recommend to anyone
This tour was really great and very much worth the value for the money. Our different guides - Hana, Eddie, and Chin - were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The accommodation was spectacular and communication with the tour company was prompt and very helpful. We had a complex travel itinerary and they worked with us to get where we needed to go. My only issue is that this didn’t feel like a cohesive tour - more like we did 3 different day tours and they arranged our transport and accommodation in between. There was some repetition between day 1 and day 2 (different places but same general structure with weaving village and stilt houses). It would have been nice to have some more down time to explore the villages on our own. Tips for fellow travellers: take gravol before the transportation to pu Luong (the windy roads can be rough), there is tons of food so don’t worry about not having enough to eat, take advantage of the tour guides by asking lots of questions - they know a lot and their knowledge makes the trip worth it, and go with the flow - sometimes you won’t know what’s going on or things on your tour will change, just go along with the ride and you’ll have a blast. All and all, I think it was a great trip and I’d recommend. Divi could do a little more to make it 6 stars!
Amazing experience with fantastic guides Wendy and Nga. Extremely well organized, fun and adventurous. An experience not to miss - the area is beautiful and the people are very welcoming! Loved every minute of it! Highly recommend this tour - the guides made us feel so welcome and felt like friends!
Amazing immersive experience with local culture. Enjoyed hiking and biking through villages - homestay was incredible. The area is very beautiful. Nga our guide was amazing - so organized and full of energy - this tour was a highlight- definitely recommend - service, happiness and friendship made this a wonderful experience!
Absolutely brilliant Nga was a wonderful tour guide and it was a pleasure to do the tour with her. Highly recommended tour
We had such an excellent time on this tour! Everything was organised really well and smoothly. We received communication from everyone with plenty of time. The tour groups were fairly small, not more than 7 people per group. Our tour guides Thu (in Mai Chau) and Nga (in Pu Luong) were very knowledgeable about everything and engaging. The activities (cycling, exploring caves, walking through villages and seeing the locals and cooking class) were lots of fun. We would highly recommend it!
The tour was wonderful, and we saw so much. I especially enjoyed Pu Long and Ninh Binh. My tour guide, Ed Nguyen, was excellent; he explained everything so well and simply, without making it boring. He took care of everything, and the return trip to Hanoi went smoothly. I would definitely book another tour with this agency. The Agency is really amazing.
This was a very memorable and very good experience Nga Was very knowledgeable and took us to places which we would never have been able to go without her The final day with her cooking lesson and the older couple who let us have a meal at their home was extra special .
Great trip meeting local people and seeing their customs. Nga great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She made our experience great fun and authentic.
A wonderful chance to experience the real Vietnam. Our guides were fantastic and knowledgeable.Excellent communication throughout.
Perfectly everything. Tour guide was profession, we are very happy to see local people and have very good local meals, hotel was very nice too.
The guides were very nice and very enthusiastic and we loved that and they were always super kind and willing to take a picture of us and with us. And they were always open to questions. The views were very beautiful and we all enjoyed it very much!!. We don’t have any complains.
Fantastic selection of attractions with stunning views of nature and deep insights into the local communities & life on a farm. Unparalleled experience!
I recommend this tour to anyone who is curious and loves nature. Our tour guide Nga was educative and kind throughout meaning we had a well informed experience in the backdrops of the natural beauty on offer here.
The Mai Chau and Pu Luong trip was fantastic! We had Vinh as our tour guide on day one in Mai Chau. Vinh was very knowledgeable of the area and as a local he spoke about the process of farming in detail. The 1000 step cave was a highlight. Be prepared for a hard climb up the side of the mountain, well worth the climb to see the cave. Day two and three in Pu Luong was fabulous. Nga was our guide and she was so much fun and took us into the villages and farmers homes. She had great relationships with the community which made our interactions enjoyable. The cooking class at the farmers house was a highlight, Nga will take you to the local market where you can pick up extra ingredients to cook, like silk worm larvae and stone snails. The waterfalls are refreshing and swimming with the local communities is really enjoyable. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to really embrace the local Vietnamese culture and cuisine. The area is tranquil and the local people so kind and genuine.
I recently took a tour to Pù Luông, and the experience was fantastic! The best part was joining the locals in activities like traditional farming and sharing meals with Thai ethnic families. It felt authentic and immersive, offering a real glimpse into the local culture. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a genuine adventure!
Eddie is a very friendly guide, he is very knowledgeable about history and the way the local people live here Cooking with him was fun Would recommend him again and again as a tour guide 5/5 ⭐️
A great experience. The guides are really great. But it's more physical than I imagined. Make sure you have good shoes.
Very welcoming service, various activities like cycling, buffalo ride, cooking classes, hiking, many diverse landscapes and the staff is very welcoming
Jestem zachwycony miejscem, ludźmi i przewodnikiem 🤗 .
A very nice environment. Very quiet. Nice activities and nice stays. Fun activities and a fun tour guide
I was with a 3 day 2 night tour to Mai Chau and Pu Luong. I wanted to escape the chaos of Hanoi and I found just a relaxing place I was pampered and followed by the guides and operators of this agency that I highly recommend. The local population also lives at a much more relaxed pace than the big cities. All smiling and happy to see you
Everything organized perfectly. Experienced and very kind guide. Nothing is left to chance. Great welcome and perfect explanations. Great outing!
I booked this visit from Hanoi. Very nice group and our tourguide lady Nga was great. The surroundings and people are so beautiful. Will also never forget to buy food yourself at local market then prepare. I ate rat, frog and mealworms there. Beautiful bike ride and walks made. You can also see weaving coming back here.
Superb excursion that plunges us into rural Vietnam with landscapes and population. The activities offered allowed us to spend time with locals and share their lifestyle. Our guide Felix was very attentive and provided us with many explanations embellished with anecdotes. We recommend this tour.
I went on a three-day tour to Pu Luong and it was a truly unforgettable experience. I had the chance to admire spectacular landscapes among terraced rice fields and unspoilt nature, visit local villages and get to know the daily life of the locals up close. Among the most beautiful activities there were the traditional cooking class, lunch on a bamboo raft and especially the hospitality received by a local family, who welcomed us with great warmth. The guide, Nga, helped make the experience even more enjoyable, thanks to the interesting explanations and constant availability. In summary, a tour that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience an authentic immersion in Vietnamese culture and spend time in close contact with nature.
Mai Chau is a true haven of peace in Vietnam, surrounded by green rice fields and mountains. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this village offers an authentic immersion in the culture of ethnic minorities, especially white Thais. The welcome is warm, the beautiful landscapes and bike or foot rides allow you to discover the natural beauty and local life. An ideal destination for lovers of nature and tranquility.
