⭐ Very disappointing and unprofessional The tour was cancelled without informing me. I spent 40 minutes and money on a taxi to the meeting point, then waited over 30 minutes, only to be told the tour was cancelled. I requested an immediate refund so I could book another tour, but was told it would take a few days to reach my account. They also offered no compensation for my travel expenses or wasted time. Very poor communication and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.

Had an amazing time. Booked this food tour on our first day in hanoi and vy showed as a variety of foods which we very much enjoyed. Would highly recommend.
Our vegan food tour with Chip was good fun! We were in a small group of five and it was great to get to know the other travellers. All the food we tasted at the various locations were so delicious - even my husband who is not vegan enjoyed the food. Train Street was an experience and I guess we were lucky to have the chance to be there as the train came through as I believe this activity won’t be continuing after the end of this year. Chip was very professional and organised, made sure we all stayed together and kept us safe crossing the roads 🙂 It was interesting to learn more about local eating culture and to discover some great vegan options. I would highly recommend this tour, even if you’re not vegan!
This was a fantastic food tour with Vy. Vegan/vegetarian with many delicious dishes. Easy walking between stops, so much food to eat. I would definitely recommend.
It was a very nice experience. I probably would not have gotten a chance to try any of these delicious foods had I not done the Vegan food tour. If you are a vegetarian or Vegan then definitely try this tour. It was also very informative.
Excellent tour with Vy from Get your guide. The food was amazing and Vy was very informative, interesting, fun and friendly. We would never have found the restaurant without Vy. Finished the tour with a visit to train street, a must see.
Just came back from what is now my all time favourite walking tour (and please see my other reviews to understand how many various ones we have done!) and we are both buzzing! What a surprise of an evening which in truth, I wasn't sure how good it might be. We were incredibly fortunate to have only two other couples join us who were both so warm, chatty and welcoming which makes a huge difference for any tour. That said our incomparable guide Vy, was the star of the show and it was down to her that everyone got on so well and the evening was such a success. Bearing in mind that whilst this tour around the quite mad/hectic/crazy Hanoi was all new to us, I am sure Vy has walked these streets so many times, but her enthusiasm, professionalism, charm, wit and sheer strength of character set the tone for what was a truly memorable night and her energy made the whole experience something magical. We visited so many restaurants, some of which were just tiny but all with absolutely delicious food from Vietnam and each plate was tasty, fresh and interesting (see below for full list!). We ended on the Train tracks and watched with a drink as the train rolled by... just incredible! I would not hesitate in recommending this tour and if you're lucky enough to be guided by Vy, wow, you're in for a treat! Bánh xèo chay + rau muong 79 hàng điếu Phở sốt vang+ phở trộn+ phở cuốn+ nem cuốn vegan phở and roll Bánh mì chay Vietnamese vegan baguette Bánh tráng nướng chay snack Trà quất ice tea with camquat Kem xôi xoài mango sticky rice with coconut icream
We had an amazing time on this tour and I am so glad we booked it for our first night in Hanoi. The food was sooooooo good. Our guide, Chip was the perfect host - she taught us a lot about Vietnamese food and customs and was really friendly and kind. It was great value for money. We loved the train street experience and getting to eat at local places that we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. I'd give the tour more than 5 stars if I could ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was such a great experienced. I am travelling solo and I actually signed up because I wanted to get in touch with others, however I was the only person joining the tour. If you’re lucky to have Chip as a guide, she is the loveliest person. I had an amazing time and learned so much about Vietnamese culture. The food was amazing and made me feel more confident to try new Vietnamese dishes. Thank you Chip for the great experience and being so sweet! ✨
Great experience! I got to try foods I would not otherwise have tried as a vegan. I was the only one who booked for the group tour so I got a personal tour from Sarah. She was very pleasant to chat with. I enjoyed the tour and definitely glad I booked it.
The tour was very good! Our tour guide Khoi was very nice and knew exactly where to go for good food. He also taught us useful things, for example about the traffic and the meaning of the street names. Khoi always explained to us how the food was made, and we could also watch how it was prepared. He also told us a lot about the cultural differences between North and South Vietnam. It was not just about getting to know Vietnam better through food, but also through his stories.
Our guide Sarah was amazing. Food was great and it was definitely worth it. Got to learn a lot about the language, customs and history.
Our guide Chip was wonderful, she knew all the best places, gave plenty of little insights into life of a local and made tasting vegan foods very easy for us!
The tour was absolutely amazing! So much fresh and delicious food. Minh was so nice and led us through so many hidden alley which we would’ve never found by ourselves. Definitely recommend and would do again!
Chip was the best! She took us to some pretty underrated spots that I probably wouldn’t have gone to by myself. We ate a variety of yummy snacks, mains, and desserts and it was cool to see train street. Perhaps the best part was just chatting with her and learning more about her life in Vietnam over food. Was a great cultural exchange!
A big amount of vegan/vegetarian (your choice), a lot of background info from our guide Emely and excellent seats at the train street! A can highly recomend this tour.
Our tour with Minh was fantastic! His knowledge of the food, Vietnamese history and Hanoi in general was such a good feature of the tour and kept things interesting throughout. I definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for good local food options and a friendly guide.
Minh gave the foodtour today. He is funny, told us nice stories and the most important thing: we ate nice food. It's a nice expierence!
We had a great morning and afternoon with the Vegan Food Tour. The food tasted so good and Minh guided us amazing. And it was great seeing the train!
Minh was an absolute pleasure and was very informed In the history of dishes as well as information regarding all the questions we had
Great chance to see and eat different things around Hanoi, helped us try a bit of everything. Was wonderful to also get to have a drink at train street with reserved seats.
Minh was a wonderful tour guide! The food was amazing, he was knowledgeable about the ingredients and his city, and we got to Train Street in time to see a train go by from front row seats! Thank you Minh!
Very yummy, got a vast selection of delicious vegan food. The guide was great and he gave us so much recommendations of to-dos in Hanoi. Def recommend
Sarah’s food tour was fantastic! She was very informative and even helped us after the tour with extra food recommendations and shopping tips.
Tee was very fun and knowledgeable and was great at accommodating all of our needs and questions and changed it to have us try different things. It was a very fun event. I would recommend Tee as a guide.
Tee was great - we tried a bunch of different foods and heard stories. It was entertaining and delicious! Definitely an experience that’s much better with a guide.
We had a great evening with Tee, he showed us the best food spots and made sure everything was vegan/ vegetarian for us AND coriander free 😉 loved that! We had some great chats about our life, Hanoi and Vietnams history.
The vegan food tour with Audrey was amazing. We had a great selection of various vegan food, all very tasty and so nice to get some local recommendations. Train street also a great experience. 10/10 would do it again 😊
This tour was the perfect way to experience Hanoi's vibrant street food scene as a vegan! Our guide was fantastic, Minh. Highlight was the BBQ vegan meat dish at CHAY TÂM KHỞI and the vegan Banh Mi. The Train Street experience was definitely a highlight! It's incredible how close the train gets to the houses. Definitely recommend for those that are vegan or vegetarian or anyone who wants to try Vietnamese faux meat.
We booked the private vegan food tour for 2 people. It should have been 6-7 types of food and 1-2 drinks as per description. Ultimately we ended up having 4 bites, each a portion to share, and therefore went for dinner after the tour. Hanois Train Street is fascinating, our guide RIO was a nice person but not knowledgeable about vegan food. Also, in some of the places he was obviously for the first time. Last but not least, we paid roughly 70 USD/EUR and the total worth of food and drinks combined was roughly 5-7 USD. With only 4 instead of 6-7 snacks, this was a complete waste of money.
Had a very enjoyable and insightful tour with David. We were scheduled for 3 hours but the tour lasted well over 4 and there was no pressure from our guide to finish. We visited 6 or 7 small independent outlets and sampled a wide variety of foods. He then walked us back to a place where we all asked him to.
We really enjoyed the tour! Audrey was so kind and took us to so many great vegan places. You get to taste a lot of great food and she can explain so much about it. We highly recommend the tour if you want to enjoy Hanois Streetfood and discover new dishes.
The best food tour I’ve ever been on that highlighted vegan food! As a vegan travelling in Asia, it can be really difficult to find food options that not only meet your dietary preferences but also actually taste good! Audrey our guide took us to amazing local spots from fresh and clean street food to nice restaurants and desert bars! She was very sociable and friendly and also super knowledgeable about not only Vietnamese food but culture and history. We were able to sample a range of traditional Vietnamese vegan friendly dishes, most of which I’d have never been able to find without our guide! There was not one dish I didn’t like. You should definitely do this tour, even if you are not plant based and just want some quality, fresh, traditional food! Make sure you come with an appetite as this trip has SO MUCH food on offer, there’s no way you’ll leave hungry. Ultimately, this food tour was a highlight of my trip in Hanoi.
We loved the street food tour! Our guide, Audrey took us round the old quarter on a special vegetarian street food tour. She catered to everyone’s taste and explained all the dishes in detail about ingredients and how they were cooked. Would 100% recommend if in Hanoi!
We had so much fun on this tour with our guide Audrey. She has an amazing vibe and her English is excellent. We felt very comfortable talking with her about pretty much everything and we could learn about Vietnamese history, culture and cultural differences. We also really enjoyed the fact, that the tour is very customisable and we were able to experience so many flavours of Vietnamese cuisine. Because it was very rainy before the tour they even provided rain coats just in case. (We were so lucky, because the rain stopped right before the tour started hehe) She also was very considerate and asked about dietary restrictions. We‘re not actually vegan, but prefer to limit our consumption of animal products, so we didn’t mind that it was more vegetarian than vegan, but I‘m sure that she would have adjusted the tour accordingly. I would recommend you to clearly note that you do not eat eggs and milk etc. when booking this tour if you are vegan though.
Audry was our guide. A very good guide. She told us a lot about Vietnamese food and culture, her english is excellent! A cheerful and very friendly girl. Highly recommended
Audrey was great. Not only she made us have delicious vegetarian/vegan food but also ensured we get acquainted with the beautiful city of Hanoi. We loved the food, experience and company of Audrey.
This one was one of the bestest things we did in Hanoi. Our guide Ms. Audrey was so helpful and considerate with all our diet restrictions and could still make us enjoy the Hanoi Street food. Thank you so much for this hands on, personalized, interactive fun time. We went to i think 6 places and tried local delicacies like some dumplings to bread to noodles to sticky rice to desserts. Everyone should opt for this trip atleast once.
Audrey was amazing! She explained everything and she was also really nice to answer to all my question about the Vietnam culture. Thanks!
Similar to what is posted on another site where I took this tour in the 2.5hr tip-based version by this same company: The tour is incorrectly titled. It is not a vegan food tour. It is a lacto-ovo vegetarian tour and they do not inform you. The guide seemed to not know that the things with milk and eggs weren't vegan. Outside of this, he was very friendly, very helpful, interesting, a generally great guide! But! It was by sheer luck I did not order or sample more than a tiny bit of another guest's food with milk in it or eat more than a bite of something with egg in it. When finding this out by accident at the end by someone asking about ingredients of a food we were eating and him mentioning egg in it I asked him about earlier foods about egg and milk. He seemed unsure but concluded that only this had had egg and the other milk. If you have been vegan long (and for those unexpectedly reading this that aren't vegan, this might be news as to why this is so important an issue) you know that ingestion of animal products, especially milk, in one amount or another can cause us to become violently ill. After quizzing this tour guide very worriedly, and being unsure of his answer's solidity, it was very sweet of him that he seemed genuinely concerned over this misunderstanding about veganism and what I had eaten bits of and hoping I would be okay. It was a true mistake, he was a great person. The only issue is the danger to vegans when a guide does not know what veganism is and what we can and can't intentionally or safely eat. The guide was lovely and the tour very interesting and pleasant. However, the tour needs renamed and the guide(s) need to know what vegan means.
I booked a Vegan food tour, but wasn't surprised, after reading others reviews, that the group was mixed with another street food tour. This was great, because it meant we got to form a small group and everyone got to eat whatever they liked. Honestly, Sarah was the best guide, it felt just like I was having a night out with a friend. Her coordination of the various stops, the information she provided, questions she answered and her general good humour, made it one of my best nights in Hanoi. I highly recommend this tour.
Audrey gave such a fabulous tour, her pride and knowledge of her country brought the experience to life. The food was outstanding, so many flavours and textures , all safely in the knowledge that they were vegan. Audrey is an absolute darling
The vegan food tour was amazing. Audrey our tour guide was so sweet and kind. She spoke amazing English, knew a lot about the area and the food. This was a very great experience!
Suuuch an amazing food tour! Loved all the fun facts and enjoyed the stories of our tour guide ❤️ Our tour guide, Audrey, did a great job with us :) 10/10 would recommend!
Audrey was really nice and open to questions about vietnam and the food culture:) I can definitely recommend the tour and the food was amazing too!
This tour was just perfect! Audrey showed us the best food I had in Vietnam so far and always made sure we enjoyed it! She told us the most interesting things about Vietnamese food and also culture and I honestly couldn’t think of anything that could’ve been better!! Thank you so much!
Audrey is an amazing tour guide, she took us to the best spots in Hanoi. We got to try some really tasty vegan dishes. I would highly recommend it especially for vegan or vegetarian people craving good food.
First of all the food was amazing! But the best part was that our guide Minh could speak nearly fluently English and told us very much about the history of Vietnam and the food. 100% recommended
The tour and the places visited were good. The food was delicious and without meat. However, we would have liked the guide to interact more with the group and share information. Only the most important information was shared and otherwise the guide was rather calm. If we wanted to know something, we had to actively ask and otherwise the guide was silent. It would also have been exciting to learn a little more about the city, the food and the background, without us always having to ask.
Great time with Audrey. You visit some places that you would probably never have noticed as a tourist. Nice conversation and exciting information included. The food also sensationalized by the bank.
