Hanoi Unique Silver Ring/pendant... Making Workshop

I made a bracelet and my sister made a ring. It well explained and they let you do most of the steps. Very fun and a great way to escape the heat for 2 hours.

So great! I made a beautiful piece that I love, staff were so accommodating, I loved the pieces everyone else made too. Quality ring that I now wear every day. So it!!

The experience was very interesting and is worth it. The group is quite small so every member of the crew can explain well and take time with each and every one of them. The staff is very friendly and explains everything, making every-y one participate. It's a good way to craft a unique memory from Hanoi !

I took my own design to make a ring. The teacher guided me all along. Gave me a helping hand at all critical moments. Everything was clearly explained. The whole experience was fun, engaging and satisfying. At the end of the class, I had the ring exactly as I had designed. The teacher and I were both very happy with the ring.

What a fantastic experience! We wanted to do something a little different while still supporting the local artisans, and found Silver Soul just 10 minutes from our hotel in the Old Quarter. Huyen was a superb teacher, patient and incredibly funny. You get the choice of making a pendant, ear rings or rings with 5g of silver, with options on size, texture and customisation - we went with the standard technique so that we could spend a few hours in air con without losing too much of the morning. Took us about 2 hours to make a ring in our own design and they mean a lot more knowing there is nothing else like them in the world. Definitely one for creative travellers who want to take a one of a kind piece home. Thank you for a great memory!

You got to choose the width of your ring, the texture and design. You then got to use a hammer it into shape, torch it to seal it together and then it was put in a “bath” to bring out the shine. The instructor was great had lots of energy and what a fun little memento from Hanoi.

The owner and staff have wonderful humor and will help you achieve a beautiful result. You can also buy very special rings and other silver jewellry handcrafted in traditional vietnamese style.

The jewellery making class is brilliant! The instructors are very good at what they do and made the class enjoyable. Under their guidance, we made beautiful silver rings we’ll wear and cherish for years.

Huyen and Phuong are so knowledgeable and helpful. My sister and I made rings to our liking including engraving. They turned out amazing!!! Highly recommend this workshop!

We arrived slightly early and was made to feel so welcome. We learned the trafitional history of how a local village making silver jewellery. We learned the %silver required and why. in the class you do everything apart from the smelting of the silver and copper into bars. Lots of designs to choose or create, different band widths towards finger sizes (largest dibe so far was 33 wr was clise with a size 30). The teaching of each step was to a high standard and help is on hand should you need it. A single charm is included that you can add. You can stamp on the ring names, letters, nos, shapes etc outside and inside (mine was a bit wonky but we lol and Whyn the teacher said mine was dancing🤣). It is so professional they ensure you leave with a beautiful crafted piece of jewellery unique to u to cherish forever. We cannot thank the Team enough for all their help and we will keep them for the rest of our lives. We cannot recommend this activity enough, no words does it justice❤️

This class was really informative, fun and hands on. The teacher was one of few people who continue traditional blacksmithing methods from her home village. The class was a perfect mix of assisted where needed but also feeling as though you’re still making your ring yourself. The teacher was very patient and made sure everyone was happy with how their piece turned out, we never felt that we were asking too many questions or for too many amendments. My mum and I both left with a very memorable souvenir that we love. I have a lot of rings that I wear everyday, and now I get to add one to the collection that I made myself :) Highly recommend!

Great activity, we had a really good time to do our rings, staff is really nice and give good tips about ring making. The activity lasts 2 hours approximately, I strongly recommend.

The instructor was brilliant! She was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable and took us step by step through the entire process. Amazing to experience how we turned a lump of silver into a finished ring (by our own design) in 3 hours. Everyone was having fun and the time just flew by. Highly recommended

I would highly recommend the ring making class to anyone!! It was one of the best experiences I’ve had and to come away with a piece of jewelry you’ve made from scratch is such a highlight! Huyen is an amazing host who runs the class with such passion and talent for what she does. Loved every second!!

This was such a fun experience designing and then making your own ring! They were patient and clearly explained each step in the process. Our group was 3 people and I believe the limit is 4 per class. A tip is to research what ring you want to make and contact them before hand to see if it is doable. My initial design I showed them was not possible, and though they give you 10 minutes to brainstorm, I wish I had contacted them before hand so I could have come up with a different design. Also you are able to engrave something on the inside and outside. Learned alot and my ring is a great souvenir!

We didn’t expect to be able to do so much at this class, you really do make your ring from nothing and design it completely as you like. We had the most wonderful experience at Huyen’s silver ring making workshop. My kids and I loved learning from Huyen and making our own rings. Items we will always treasure.

Where do I even start!? Walking into this beautiful, cozy little shop adorned with amazing silver crafts, we were warmly greeted by Huyen, who would be our instructor for the day. From the very beginning, Huyen was lovely, and as the workshop progressed, the experience only got better! By the end, we were smiling non-stop, chatting away, and laughing as Huyen took photos of us and provided great instruction, helping us create beautiful rings. Huyen alone made this experience an 11/10. This is easily among the best things I’ve ever done. It might sound silly to say this about a workshop, but it truly was an incredibly memorable and fun experience. You can see beautiful views in many places, but how often can you tell someone that the ring you always wear was made in Vietnam, taught by this wonderful woman? Not to mention she accommodated the later time we arrived, which also meant we were there for sunset and the view from the shop was blissfully quaint and radiant. If you’re reading this review, or ever near/in the area, I implore and INSIST you to give this workshop a go, you will NOT regret it. It was delightful and an experience that will stick with you forever. I will definitely be back to craft our engagement rings. Thank you Huyen for the best last day in Vietnam we could’ve asked for!

This workshop was probably one of the best ones I have ever participated in! We booked the workshop for 3:00pm because we were supposed to arrive to Hanoi before then but our van was running behind, their was no issues or fuss, Huyen (the workshop teacher) was very patient and waited for us to arrive. On arrival Huyen greeted us with a warm welcome and a big smile! Huyen has the best personality and attitude, which only became more apparent as the workshop went on, making the entire experience just that much better. Huyen talked you through each step of crafting the rings and made sure you were doing it safely, if you needed help she would guide you in the right direction with hands on instructions. I never felt rushed to finish anything or worried if I was doing it wrong because she was always right next to me making sure I was doing it correctly. I also wanted to add in the review that She also took lots of great pictures for us and the workshop/ building was very clean and organized. This was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to go back and craft another ring one day!

Today morning we had an amazing experience at Trang sức bạc Silver soul studio! I booked rings making workshop for me and my husband as a 10th wedding anniversary gift. Ms Huyen was very helpful, friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the process. And the final result is adorable! It took us just 2 hours! Highly recommended! 🫶🏻🥰

I would recommend this work shop to anyone and everyone. I had a great time. Huyen was a great teacher. She was patient and explained every step. I made a ring and engraved my dogs name on it. She even took pictures of the process along the way and got to keep them. If you're looking to do something different and enjoyable, definitely give this a try.
