A wonderful experience; we really enjoyed wandering the streets of Hanoi and tasting the most iconic dishes of Vietnamese cuisine. We likely stopped at excellent spots that truly reflect the local authenticity. Our guide was fantastic—super helpful and great company.

Wow, you must do this tour in Hanoi. Bob (our local guide) took us to some wonderful places and told us about the food and the area. He has a lovely, friendly manner and my teenagers thought he was great too. They said it was their favourite night of the holiday (and we had been to Singapore and Thailand list before Hanoi). This is excellent value for money as you get to try several dishes, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Bob for a wonderful evening.

We loved our food tour around Hanoi old quarter! Ricky was a great guide, and every stop was delicious, with a good variety including a nice stop at a craft beer spot. The tour was the perfect way to get comfortable trying all the local spots. Having a small group made the experience intimate and even though it was day 1 we are sure it will be a highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend enough!

Some of eateries not hygienic

I had such a great time with Patrick and 2 lovely girls walking around the Old Town trying all sorts of food and chatting. Even though I have done several other food tours in Vietnam, everything we tried was new, with Patrick being very responsive to what were interested in. Patrick was a great conversationalist and the hours for by. The list of sites visits, recommendations for the following days and photos were all highly appreciated. 100% recommend this tour.

Great host, loads of fun, don’t eat all day before you go! Really worth taking the time to do the tour so you understand Vietnamese food a little better.

What a fabulous night we had with our guide, Minh. As another couple cancelled right at pick up time, it turned out to be a private tour, so Minh was very free and easy selecting dishes to suit our tastes. Every dish was amazing and an adventure making our way to each place. It was such a fun, casual night and exploring some of the back alleys was certainly an eye opener.

An excellent tour. Chi is a Hanoi resident of Hanoi, who took us to her local favourites. The food was excellent and the conversation flowed easily ( despite the different languages in the group) due to her easy style and she was happy to answer all our questions and provide suggestions for other places to visit. The food was plentiful and the small group size made for a very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend this tour.

Such a great way to sample several essential Vietnamese dishes! Our guide Mai was knowledgeable and friendly and spoke perfect English. I recommend doing this at the beginning of your stay in Hanoi because we received several great recommendations for food, shopping, and activities.

Peter guided our small group with a lot of passion and dedication through the culinary highlights of Hanoi and North Vietnam. Every outlet and meal was carefully selected and nicely explained. For all the different meals Peter mentioned a nice anecdote to provide context - either from cultural, culinary or simply craftmanship perspective. By this you learn a lot beyond just great taste and are also able to avoid some cruicial mistakes with all the different offers you will find during your trip. Peter also took well into consideration preferences of the quite mixed group. So 100% recommendation (and make sure you have a lot of space :). Worth every cent!

We left feeling educated, inspired to expand our palate, and completely satisfied (and full!). This was one of the best experiences of our trip, and we’ll 100% be doing it again! Mai is an enthusiastic guide who loves her city and we visited very cozy and traditional food places where we tried the real Vietnamese food, the same she eats every day since she was a child. I really loved the Pho and the roasted duck ban mi 💚

Excellent. Mai was very friendly and welcoming. She was interested in learning about you, where you lived, had you been to Vietnam before. She was very knowledgeable about the city and took us to places off the beaten track where we would never have found if we went looking for them on our own. She introduced us to authentic Vietnamese food and we tried , and enjoyed, eating food we never would have eaten otherwise. The food was delicious.

Luke was a great guide. He spoke beautiful English and checked everyone's food and dietary requirements before we set out on foot. He took us to many delicious places, some that I would not have considered going into. Definitely ate way too much that evening. So make sure you are hungry when you go!

I'm glad I did the solo tour! Max was able to accommodate my pace. He introduced me to some great spots, one of which I had to revisit before I left Hanoi. He also shared tips for other services (such as spas) and gave me recommendations for other cities. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The tour was great! Our guide Lucky was awesome. He taught how to navigate the city, showed us some delicious food/the proper way to eat it and gave us a lot of great information on Hanoi’s history as well as what makes Vietnam so great. It was a great way to start off our trip in Hanoi as it made me feel more comfortable navigating the city and allowed me to appreciate the city that much more!

Because of Minh we saw and the best out of hanoi. Minh is the best. Friendly, intelligent, funny and knowledgeable. We are everything that you can imagine
