Amazing experience with Patrick! He arrived to our pickup ahead of schedule and made sure to check allergies and food preferences before setting the course. Every place we went was packed with locals, the food was fast and delicious, and Patrick took pictures and taught us about Hanoi along the way. Worth every penny and more, highly recommend.

It was interesting to see the pottery village and I especially enjoyed walking the back streets and visiting a local's home. Our lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and enjoyable. Our guide, Emma, was informative.

We had an amazing time on our Hanoi food tour with Bob! Each stop was better than the last, and the portion sizes were just right. Bob was incredibly kind and friendly, and he taught us so much about the dishes we were enjoying, as well as the history behind them. We really appreciated this, as we love learning about other cultures and their food. Having Bob as our guide made the experience even more special. His joy and pride in his culture and cuisine truly shine through, making the tour both fun and informative. He also shared a list of all the places we visited and recommended a fantastic rooftop bar. My wife and I went there that evening and absolutely loved it! We enjoyed great drinks, a live saxophone player, and beautiful views of Hanoi's city lights. Thank you so much, Bob, for such a wonderful experience! This tour will definitely be a special memory that we look back on fondly when we think of our time in Hanoi. We had a wonderful time with our guide Bob, walking around the Hanoi streets enjoying many different types of food. Bob adjusted the itinerary to meet our needs when a short rainstorm intervened to make sure we were comfortable but didn't miss any of the highlights. The food was plentiful and delicious, and provided an excellent introduction to Vietnamese cuisine.

Ricky was fantastic. Helpful, friendly and attentive. The food was so good and Ricky told us all about the tradition etc of each dish; what was in it and why, and how it was constructed and eaten. Excellent! We went to a family's home 'eatery'- a place a tourist alone wouldn't have found. Plus, our group got on really well so we thoroughly enjoyed the night.

Great food tour with Bao! We were able to try new foods that we wouldn’t have otherwise - like fried eel. Even the desserts were different that what we were used to. Bao picked us up at our Airbnb and we ended up very close to Airbnb. We chose the 6pm option in case it was too hot for 11:30 am tour. Would recommend!

This was exceptional. Awesome to be in a small group. Selection of food was just right and exposed us to a variety of food we would never have eaten. It is a lot of food they offer.

Minh (Dominic) is a great ambassador for Hanoi and it was a fun tour with him leading us on a tour of typical foods and tastes of Hanoi's streets and history. Tour is organized to keep an eye on hygiene and cleanliness and the spot to sit and chat over some fresh pomegranate juices was relaxing and unique. Highly recommend this tour and the guide who made it informative and entertaining.

We got to try several Vietnamese dishes and egg coffee. Mai was really engaging and passionate about showing us the dishes.

This food tour was great! We were met with rain, but that didn’t stop the tour, or even have a negative impact. Our guide, Chi met us at our hotel and we walked around from there. Chi was fabulous, lots of fun, very engaging and it was like just walking around with someone we already knew. Great food was served as well as further recommendations for the rest of our holiday. Do not eat or snack before going on this tour! You’ll have so much food, and you want to make sure you can try it all.

Minh was an excellent guide! He was very friendly and picked me up at my hostel. He took us to places I would have never found by myself, ordered great dishes and even explained us how to eat them properly. After the tour we received a list of places and dishes to try in Hanoi so we can explore the city alone as well. I would recommend Minh and his tour to everyone 😊

I had the best time with Minh who I found via TikTok. We walked around the old town and down tiny alleys I never would have on my own. Delicious dishes and sweet treats! Minh was really knowledgeable, spoke great English and I loved his super dry sense of humour 🥰

Thanks to Minh, the tour was fantastic. Fun, local, yummy, little surprises down tiny lanes and catered for my coeliac disease perfectly with great gluten free options (I mainly ate the same as everyone else too 😊). Just 5 of us for about 3h, great value.

Ricky took us around 6 spots in Hanoi Old Quarter including the Train Street, where we had a drink as the very long train went a meter past our face (it's a very long train). The food was spectacular with a wide variety of local dishes. The first stop was a noodle soup dish, where Ricky explained how to eat the noodle with the broth. Now I understand the slurping as honestly it changes everything. There was also flavoured meats on sticks, pancake/springroll, banh mi, mango, dried coconut and home made ice cream. No one went hungry. Very good tour, with lots to see, knowledgeable guide who will give you a list of great places to eat for the rest of your stay. I would recommend taking this tour at the beginning of any trip to Hanoi to really get a good understanding of the culinary delights on offer. Ricky will go out of his way to help you.

I really enjoyed this food tour! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and introduced us to several dishes and places I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own. I usually love exploring local food by myself, so I wasn’t sure if a food tour would be worth it. But it reminded me that Vietnam has so much more to offer than the few dishes you can easily become obsessed with. I had fallen in love with coconut coffee and was drinking it every day, forgetting how many amazing desserts and local specialties there are to discover. If you only have a short time in Hanoi, I definitely recommend doing this tour early in your stay. It gives you lots of ideas about what to eat and where to go during the rest of your trip.

We had great street food tour with Dominic who was fun and super knowledgeable about all things foodie in Hanoi! My teenage children and I loved the range of places we visited, but particular favourites were the bun ca (fried fish noodles), bun cha (bbq pork noodles) and the chocolate roti (which we went back to the next day. We would never have found those places alone, and he also gave loads of additional recommendations for Hanoi and beyond. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed this food tour with our guide, Ricky. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and shared interesting information about the local food and Hanoi along the way. The food stops offered a nice variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, and it was great to try places we probably wouldn’t have found by ourselves. The visit to Train Street was the highlight of the tour. Seeing the train pass just 50 cm away from us was a unique experience and something we’ll definitely remember. A well-organized tour that combines local food with one of Hanoi’s most iconic sights. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
