Amazing food tour with Ricky! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to find some excellent local Vietnamese food. The summer rolls and tofu dessert suggested by Ricky were my favourite. I’m keen to go back for seconds.

We had a wonderful evening trying some really great Vietnamese food. Our host Ricky was awesome and accomodating and made the evening feel relaxed and fun. We got to try some dishes and places we wouldn’t have found or been brave enough to try ourselves and that gave us a great insight and also was delicious!

I had a fantastic time on this food tour in Hanoi! The group was just the right size, which made the experience feel personal and enjoyable. We got to discover and taste delicious food at small, local restaurants that I would never have found or visited on my own. Our guide, Bob, was absolutely wonderful – very knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in everyone in the group. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time throughout the tour. His personal approach and enthusiasm really made the experience extra special. A perfect combination of great local food, interesting insights into Hanoi and a visit to Train Street. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi. Five stars!

Fantastic Hanoi food tour – a real highlight! What a wonderful experience! With so many places to eat tucked away in Hanoi's bustling streets, it was fantastic to have a knowledgeable guide show us some of the best spots. We not only enjoyed delicious local food but also learned so much about Vietnamese food culture and everyday life in Hanoi. It was a great way to experience the city beyond the usual tourist attractions. Train Street was quite extraordinary and a real highlight! Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this tour.

Bob was the perfect food guide. As a local and coming from hospitality royalty himself he knew all the spots that the local chefs like to eat out. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Our guide was Nick and he made the experience memorable. Very knowledgeable and made us taste the most delicious Vietnamese dishes. Super helpful and friendly.

Nick was very prompt and picked us up on time. He took us to three small local food joints and another place for dessert. The food was good overall, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the dessert. We ended the tour with coffee on Train Street, which was a nice way to finish the experience. Nick also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our trip and shared some fun facts about Hanoi and its food and culture. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend Nick to anyone looking to explore Hanoi through its local food scene.

Amazing experience on my first day in Hanoi! Not knowing where to start when it came to the local food scene, I was glad to have Ricky as our tour guide. Ricky was friendly, energetic, and passionate about sharing his knowledge of Vietnamese food and culture. He came well prepared and was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining not only the dishes we tried but also the history, traditions, and local customs behind them. Amazing tour, 6 food stops from 530pm to 9pm ... including reserved seats at the Train Street. Ricky is very kind, knowledgeable and great with kids (my boys are 11 and 13)...my wife is pure vegetarian...he accommodated her diet requirements very nicely in the tour. Highly recommended

Ricky , our guide was so amazing , well spoken and one of the most remarkable things was that he remembered our names instantly and always addressed us by our names throughout the tour , well curated tour in terms of the dishes and their parings and timings , started with breakfast type pho , lunch with a brew and fried tofu and water spinach, the oh so delicious bun cha with pork , ends with sticky rice coconut ice cream and mango for desert , amazing company with the rest of the tour people , and a lot of easy paced walking and eating ! Highly recommend Ricky and his tour !

Ricky was a lovely guy. good comms before and after there tour. Very informative throughout. Small groups - 8 people on ours. We visited some genuinely authentic places and experienced a range of yummy vietnamese food and drinks - I'm vegetarian and left very happy and very full! The front row seats at the train street cafe for the afternoon train was great. Thank you Ricky! Amazing day.

Our tour guide, Ricky, was amazing! We enjoyed each local Vietnamese food shop he took us to. I was surprised (in a good way) that he took us to the train street for a drink. The iced egg coffee was delicious! Each dish we had was really delicious 😋

Nick was a wonderful foodie guide. He took us to authentic places and explained their background. We had a wonderful variety of food and he even surprised us with a chance encounter with a rare street vendor who was selling a local delicacy. We got to try that. Highly recommend.
