Ricky was excellent guide and the tour was a lot of fun! Ricky explained each dish, the ingredients, the region etc as well as introducing us to the family that prepared the food and owned the shop. He ensured we had a fun, informative and safe (Old Quarter can be interesting to navigate)!

Ricky and his team of drivers gave us a great tour through the streets and local food in Hanoi…the train street was a real treat!

Got picked up at the hotel, all food was included in the ticket price. Ricky was a great guide, he was knowledgeable in the city, showed us how to cross the street (by end of night youll be more confident😅) the food was good, he gave us info about what we ate, met some nice people! I highly recommend the tour it was about 3hours

Ricky was really friendly and informative, supporting us to try lots of new food, including a restaurant in someone’s house which we will remember for a long time! He also paid close attention to both our allergies which was really appreciated. He packed a lot in with 6 stops in 3 hours including Train Street, and it was great to see some corners of the Old Quarter we hadn’t visited before. Nice group of 8 people too. Overall a really lively and fun evening, highly recommended!

The boys picked us up on time from our hotel and took us safely to places we would never have found and food we would never have tried. Great way of seeing the city in a half day to figure out what to see thoroughly if you have more time.

Absolute blast. Decided last minute to do this. Scooters everywhere so we figured why not! Each guy was fun and knew a lot of history. Great food and lots of sites all over the city. It ended up being one of the hottest days here but it was still a great time. Would totally do it again.

This tour was honestly one of the best experiences I had in Hanoi. Riding through the busy streets on a scooter felt exciting but still very safe thanks to the professional guides. They knew exactly where to go and made the whole journey smooth and enjoyable. The sightseeing part was great—we covered places like West Lake and local markets—but the real highlight was the food. From authentic street dishes to unique drinks like egg coffee, everything felt fresh and genuinely local. It didn’t feel like a typical tourist tour at all. What I really liked was how the guide explained the background of each place and dish. It made the whole experience more meaningful rather than just eating and moving on. So much fun riding through the streets of Hanoi on the back of Rik’s bike even though the weather was freezing cold! Experienced authentic dishes and also got to enjoy a hot cup of egg coffee and salt coffee to warm up! Absolutely recommend if you want to experience so of the authentic streets of Hanoi and get a look at the local way of life!

Rick took us on a tour of local delights that were delicious and unexpected. Great motor bike driving skills and stories about Hanoi. Fun to ride around at night and we event went across the bridge to the other side of Hanoi. Enjoyed this tour very much!

We did the street food tour with Rik and it was amazing. He picked us up from the hotel and the time that we set and he was super kind and communicative. He took us for a ride to different areas of the city and we’ve tried 4 different dishes, then we sent to the train street and we finished and the beeer street. He explain us a lot about the culture, food, the city. I fully recommend this activity with him

We had a great time with Rik. He took us to famous city landmarks in Hanoi and explained aspects of the culture we would not have not known otherwise. After the cultural tour, we stopped at a few spots to try different Vietnamese dishes and sweet treats. By the end we were so full we asked to skip one stop because we could not eat any more! My wife and I had a great time, would recommend!

The private bike tour sightseeing and food tour was excellent our guides Ricky and his Uncle Ben were very accommodating and helpful, making sure we were ready before taking off each time. The sites they took us to were excellent and stopped for morning tea snack on side of road then a cup of coffee stop then 2 lunch stops and 1 stop for dessert. This Hanoi scooter food tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will never forget. We also visited beautiful local spots, including scenic lakeside areas, which allowed us to see a side of Hanoi that we could never have discovered on our own. We had a great experience on the scooter sightseeing and food tour in Hanoi. Rik was our guide, and he provided a very professional, insightful, and well-organized tour around the city. We booked a motorbike street tour in Hanoi for our family of four with two teenagers, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Rik and his crew took us around the city to many iconic sites while giving us a real taste of Vietnamese culture through traditional street food stops. A standout moment was visiting Café Giang, the original home of egg coffee — a must-try when in Hanoi! Max was my guide for the day and he was incredible! He quickly understood my goals for the day and showed and a relaxed and supportive approach to the entire day. Because it wasn’t my first visit he was able to show me things I hadn’t had time to do before. His knowledge is so extensive being a 11th generation local. He is a graduate of tourism and it really shows that he has a natural talent. I would highly recommend Max to anyone who wants to know more about Hanoi, it’s history, it’s unique interest points, and the best food stops in town!

Amazing way to experience the vibe of Hanoi on scooters. Rik, our guide, along with the other drivers, took us to the cultural sites and neighborhoods to try his favorite foods. Weaving through the converging school of scooters and vehicles is a thrill ride to remember. I enjoy trying local foods and Rick’s choices were authentic and delicious.

Fabulous personalised tour around Hanoi with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to some fantastic local restaurants to try lunchtime foods such as crispy filled pancakes with pork, fresh herbs which was delicious, tried egg coffee for first time and finished in old quarter with mango jelly pudding which was fantastic, being in moped for first time I was nervous but guide set me fears at ease straightaway, thoroughly recommended .

What a great experience with Rik and Dung (pronounced Zoong). Made me laugh as Dung in Scotland means something totally different 🤣. What a great tour. Amazing evening with Rik and his Uncle Zum (?). The tour lasted over 3 hours - and we enjoyed egg coffee, watermelon juice, and three different savory dishes whose names I can’t remember- but all so delicious! And then some mango sticky rice with coconut. And as if this wasn’t enough - Rik also showed us several historical areas and explained the significance - including the crash site of a B52 bomber from 1972. A great evening!

It was like being taken around by a friend not a tour guide. Rik took photos of us at key destinations which was so helpful! Rik’s passion for food was evident throughout the tour.

We rode with Rik and friends and it was amazing. I traveled with my kids for this motorbike tour. The tour was custom built for us based on where we had already been, ages of the kids, and their interests. The tour company was very good at messaging me with plans and helped ensure the best trip. We started off with a quick introduction to riding, went out to the opera house for photos and a quick check on how we felt. Then we went to a coffee shop for the kids and a self-paced walking tour. We went to a museum after and had beef pho. We moved on to tour much of the city and had banh cuon, sandwiches, and a dessert. All the while, the drivers checked on how we were doing and kept us engaged. I asked for some positional adjustments so I could make movies of the kids! Rik was very accommodating and adjusted foods based on how much appetite we had and the energy. He loved seeing the smiles on our faces and dropped us off where we needed to be next (water puppets). My kids had the most amazing time ever, being in traffic and feeling safe. Being guided across streets. This was fantastic and I highly recommend.

Rik and his cousin were such wonderful tour guides. They picked us up directly from our Airbnb and took us all around the city on their mopeds. It was such a fantastic way to get around and see everything. They also took us to such fantastic local restaurants and ordered everything to the table, making the experience seamless and effortless. 10 out of 10 would recommend going on this trip.
