Hanoi Motorbike Tour Led By Women: Hanoi City Half Day

Thank you, Happy and Hang, for such a wonderful tour! They were absolutely fantastic guides—friendly, professional, and careful drivers. Their English was easy to understand, which made communication very comfortable. We were staying at a hotel on the outskirts of the Old Quarter, but they kindly came to pick us up even though we contacted them only the day before. I booked this tour with my daughter in her 20s, and it turned out to be a private tour. They told us they could arrange the itinerary according to our preferences. Since the temperature was expected to reach 37°C, I was a little worried about the heat. I mentioned this at the beginning, and they adjusted the schedule so that we could enjoy the tour without overdoing it. We visited Train Street, Long Bien Bridge, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the War Museum, Banana Island, and other places. At Train Street, we tried salt coffee and coconut coffee recommended by our guides. Both were delicious! For lunch, when I told them we were getting tired from the heat, they took us to a restaurant serving rice pancakes. We also asked to visit a pudding shop, and they happily included that in the tour. All food and drinks were included in the tour price. It was my first time riding a motorbike, and I really enjoyed moving through the traffic. More than anything, riding the motorbike was surprisingly comfortable because the breeze made the heat much more bearable. It was a wonderful way to experience Hanoi, and having Happy and Hang as our guides made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

We booked the private tour with our two teens. What a great experience and what a lovely ladies. They were very helpful and showed us the highlights of Hanoi. We had our own photografer with us so we received some beautiful pictures and video afterwards. A great thank you to Happy and her girls for making this great memory with us. I’m so glad I booked this tour! I almost didn’t as I was worried about being on the back of a moped but I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. We were picked up from our hotel and since it was only us it was like our own private tour. Our main tour guide, Happy, was very knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all our questions and explained each attraction in detail and our moped drivers would explain what we were seeing as we drove past different sites. Lunch was delicious and we got to experience another side of Hanoi that you wouldn’t normally just by walking around. Thank you to the support drivers Hang, Hung, Bong and An and thank you Happy for a great day.

You definitely have to do this tour in Hanoi. It was one of the highlights of my trip! 😀. I am a 71 year old woman and if I can do it so can you! My friend and I toured the city with our very capable guides, Jinny and Duyen. They were very knowledgeable. We also had another bike escort on the tour with us just in case one of the bikes broke down, so it was very safe and there’s nothing to worry about. We had a delicious lunch at a small restaurant and stopped for a break at a cafe. We visited several sites such as the banana plantation, the museum where they had the B-52 bomber plane and the Long Bien bridge where we took some nice photos. Don’t miss out on this tour or you will regret it! I would do it again I a heartbeat! 💗

This was a fantastic morning trip. I had never been on a scooter before but it was comfortable and I felt very safe throughout. Jinny led our tour supported by Bong ( hope I have spelt that correctly - apologies if not). Both women spoke excellent English and were informative, professional and friendly throughout. We saw things we would not have visited and it felt authentic and genuine. We finished with a delicious light lunch and cold drinks. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and would encourage everyone to experience Hanoi in this way

The best experience to visit some main spots in Hanoi mixed to city life , nice people , hidden places that maybe I wouldn’t have visited by myself . My driver was Linh , a super nice and kind girl that took me to many beautiful spots with her driving skills ( in the Hanoi traffic you need them !! ) . Super recommended experience!

This was my second trip with this outfit. The first one having exceeded my expectations I had to book another adventure. My guide Summi was very knowledgeable on Vietnamese history, culture, and people. Zipping thru busy streets and narrow alleys to places like Banana Island and the B-52 water park the whole time pointing out buildings and places while giving their stories. Now only was it fun, I learned alot about the Vietnamese people.

Lovely well informed guides. Covered more ground than expected. Exciting way to see the city from a locals perspective.

We have had a wonderful time with Summi, Happy and Thuong. I think Thuong was there as our personal body guard 😉. Summi was knowledgeable about the history of Hanoi as well as punctual, courteous, friendly, great smile and skilled at the art of biking in the city! We were completely satisfied with our outing with them.

Really fun way to see the city and the guide had a great level of knowledge so learnt alot about Hanoi! I also booked super last minute and they were flexible in fitting me in and and getting a driver for the motorbike

Such a fun tour, saw banana island, drive around the city learning about history and Hanoi, and topped it off with delicious chicken pho. Summi and Happy were amazing and so nice and knowledgeable.

What a fabulous, fun experience to be ’right in the thick of it’ with the Motor Cycle Tour. A great variety of experiences from dirt tracks to morning peak hour! Throughly recommend this for a must do adventure. Very knowledgeable guides with lovely personality’s. It was great fun!

This was such a nice way to see the city. Maipii was a wonderful host, she told me many facts about all the landmarks we visited and answered all the questions I had. I was happy to have had lunch at an authentic local place. Would recommend even if you haven't ridden a bike before, it's surprisingly easy.

We had the BEST time riding around Hanoi with our guide Hoa, and riders Tung and Hieu. We felt very safe and comfortable on the back of the bike, taking photos and videos as we rode along the streets. Hoa took us to a great variety of interesting places, and we were able to see sights we wouldn’t have otherwise. This was truly an amazing and memorable experience we will remember for years to come! The tour was extremely informative and we learnt a lot from the guided tour. There was a lot of historical tidbits that were shared at each location. The riders' skills are solid, and at no point did I feel unsafe even when we were weaving in the traffic and narrow alleyways. Summi, Happy, Money, Giang, Minh were a great team and brought us around seamlessly. Thank you for the great experience!

A lovely lady called Emma was my guide today. She is very knowledgeable and a very good driver as well. We had lunch in a little restaurant and i had chicken feet as desert. It tasted sooo good! Emma captured some funny moments! Thank you to this lovely lady who made my day really memorable! 😘

Myself and my wife did the half day city and countryside tour, our guides were Annie and Emma. We had a brilliant time, really enjoyed it. I was a tad apprehensive as the traffic is a bit manic and I hadn’t been on a scooter or bike before. Shouldn’t have worried though we felt completely safe the entire time. Was great fun zipping around the sites on the tour, and the guides were very friendly and spoke perfect English. We learned a lot about Hanoi and Vietnam, and chatting to the guides gave us a really good insight to the Vietnamese perspective of their history. We had lunch and later ice cream, and later coffees in Train Street. All very good. Sat about 30cm from the train as it went by! I highly recommend this tour, very informative, great fun, and lovely people.

This was a fantastic introduction to Hanoi! We loved riding on the back of the motorbikes through the city streets. I drivers were skilful and safe. Lily had very good knowledge of the history and culture of the city. Highlights were Train St, egg coffee and the bridge across the river. Do this trip, you’ll love it!

We booked the city tour in error instead of the country tour. Within one quick phone call they accommodated us with the country tour. We felt very safe while our awesome drivers navigated the crazy traffic. They even had a guy following us to ensure our safety. Our guide was super friendly and smart. Our other driver was fantastic as well

This is a must do half day tour of Hanoi. Ann and Emma were so professional, knowledgeable and very safe motorcycle riders. They took us to some amazing sights in Hanoi, spoke beautiful English and are very passionate about their Country, Culture and History. They were both very sweet with a great sense of humour. We just finished a 3-hour motorbike tour around the top spots in Hanoi, and it was awesome! Our guide, Summi, was super friendly and spoke great English. She gave us the lowdown on Vietnam's history and all the cool places we visited. She also hooked us up with some great recommendations for where to eat, grab a beer, and check out local markets. Shoutout to her partner, Shang, who was snapping photos the whole time—they turned out amazing! Shang, we're counting on seeing you as a professional photographer soon—don't forget your Spanish friends! If you're looking for a fun and well-rounded tour, this is definitely the way to go!

Had not much time to explore so we decided on a motorbike tour. We had a taste of Viet’s bbq pork for the first time, delicious! Went around the city, stopping by the red river’s banana farms, long bien bridge, temple, train street, and the war museum. Great fun despite the heat! Chris was knowledgable and considerate. Perfect for first-time tourist. Awesome ride too!

Audrey was my ride/guide. She gives a tour with passion for the history of Hanoi. She is a safe but snazzy driver and it was one of the most exciting and lovely tour I have ever been on. Audrey was able to give the flavour of Hanoi - now it’s one of my favourite cities on my very short stay here. Highly recommend this - if you are just passing through Hanoi and don’t have time or just waltzed in (like me) without a plan.😊

Shout out to our amazing tour guide crew: Summi, Linh, Naan and Dan! What an amazing experience. Riding back seat on a motorbike through the city of Hanoi at night was such an unforgettable experience. Walking through all that chaos and traffic during the day was one thing, but actually getting to experience that chaos on a motorbike and taking in the nightlife scenery was nothing short of magical. The restaurants we visited had great food, but what I especially appreciate are the restaurant stops where I didn’t see a single tourist, and the place would be packed with locals. You knew right away you were going to get to experience local favorite cuisines that many tourist don’t usually get experience Most memorable restaurant: pho served three different ways. Who knew?! I’ve only ever heard of pho in noodle soup form. We got to try it three ways that were completely new to me: rolled, mixed and deep fried. Thank you ladies for the experience. This one’s for the books!

This was hands down the best part of my trip to Hanoi! For get ha long bay. Hoa, Linh and Ngan were our tour guides and they were amazing. I would 100% recommend this tour, especially if you are a bit nervous about going on a bike in Hanoi as they have backrests which helps to stabilise you and they all drive really well. Finishing on the train street at the perfect time for the train was a great way to finish. Loved it.

Hoa, Linh, Hanh and Ngan were great at driving the motorcycles through incredible traffic. We saw so much of the Hanoi city. It was a great tour and a great day. Outstanding lunch, drinks, and so much interesting information. I highly recommend Bike Tour Hanoi!

Went on a 1/2 day city tour.. Led by tour guide Hoa, young chap with lots of information. A relaxing and get to know Hanoi a bit tour. My kids 12 & 13 enjoyed the scooter ride a lot. Tour ended with a trip to Train city - a should go place if you are in Hanoi. Hoa brought us to Hanoi 1990s TrainStreet cafe. Nice coconut coffee and also coffee with fresh milk and condense milk. Hoa had the train timing right and we witnessed the train passing while sipping coffee. Train is inches away. Hoa even saved some bottle caps for the kids to be used for the train to flatten it as it rode past to keep as souvenir. The female riders were very steady with the traffic flow. I am a female rider myself. Very pleasant team to tour with. 👍
