Summi, Thu & An were amazing guides taking us around the countryside of Hanoi. It was great getting out of the city & seeing life outside. They were very informative & fun. Itinerary
Agriculture remains a crucial part of Vietnam's economy, and our Vespa tour takes you on a journey through the countryside to experience it firsthand. We'll start by riding out of Hanoi through Long Bien Bridge and onto an 800-year-old village, where you'll witness the daily life of people in rural areas. Along the way, we'll make a scenic stop at a bonsai garden to learn about this intricate art and see some of the stunning plant creations. You'll also have the opportunity to meet a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house. Our guide will assist as a translator while you chat with them over some candy and tea, giving you a glimpse into their lives and traditions.
Our Vespa tour takes us through the serene banana and vegetable farming area of Red River Island, where we'll ride past picturesque green rice paddies and venture off the beaten path onto a dirt road. This road leads us to the Co Loa citadel temple, a historical site with stunning scenery and an intriguing legend associated with setting up and protecting the country from foreign invaders dating back to 300BC. As we explore the area, we'll have plenty of chances to stop and take photos of the beautiful surroundings and the locals working on their farms. This will be a unique opportunity to experience the rural life of Vietnam and witness the beauty of the countryside.
At the conclusion of our excursion, we will head to a nearby restaurant in town to savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine and local egg coffee. Following our meal, we will arrange for your transportation back to your hotel.
Explore the traditional craft of broomstick making in Hoi Phu village, a renowned craft in the Red River Delta.
Visit an ancient temple and pagoda, as well as a 200-year-old traditional house with privately owned Bonsai gardens that belong to a war veteran, and have a chat about their daily life over a cup of tea.

My tour guide and driver, Happy, allowed me to experience both main and back roads of Hanoi from the back of a scooter. The pace was relaxing in the several stops were interesting.
It was a pleasant and lovely trip with Summi and Minh! I enjoyed the more rural side of the country around Hanoi. Summi gave great explanations about the places we visited and was a joyful company. I definitely recommend it!
Great experience and very informative trip. Thanks to Happy (rider and guide) for the tour!
I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my very first day in Vietnam. This private countryside bike tour around Hanoi was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. A special and heartfelt thank you to Linh, my amazing tour guide. I was the only guest on the tour, and she made the entire experience feel personal, meaningful, and so much fun. Linh is warm, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what she does. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the first moment we met, and her genuine kindness made this day unforgettable. We biked through beautiful rice fields, quiet villages, and local markets. I got to connect with the culture, meet locals, and experience everyday life in the Vietnamese countryside in a way I never could have on my own. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and Linh’s storytelling made it all come alive. This wasn’t just a bike tour — it was a perfect introduction to the heart and soul of Vietnam. I’ll always remember this day, and I’m so grateful to Linh for making it so special. Highly recommend this private tour — especially if you want an authentic, peaceful, and enriching experience outside the hustle of the city.
Our Tour guide and team , Hoa, Happy, DieuAnh, Sunny and Hanh did an awesome job. We had a great time a learnt a lot about the place. Would recommend to anyone else coming with family and friends
Excellent private tour. My guide Hippy was incredibly knowledgable and gave a fantastic day in the countryside. I learnt a lot about Hanoi's history, art, culture and much more... Recommended!!!
This was a truly wonderful activity! I would highly recommend it was just so pleasurable. The guide was fantastic and the motorbike ride was an adventure in itself. Highly recommend!
We had a great time on this tour and highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi who wants a culturally immersive experience. Our guide Hoa and drivers Linh and Money were great and made our trip a lot of fun. This tour was a great way to learn more about Hanoi and Vietnamese culture. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our countryside motorbike tour in Hanoi was the highlight of our trip! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. The guides and drivers were fantastic—professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local culture and history. Riding through the picturesque villages and rice fields was truly immersive, giving us a glimpse into rural Vietnamese life that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We got to meet locals, visit local villages, and learn so much about the traditions and way of life outside the city. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Hanoi, this tour is an absolute must! Highly recommend.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip where we had a taste of local Hanoi culture. Long bien bridge, rice field, lily ponds, loop of the affluent west lake area …. Our guides Maipi and Emma are very knowledgeable. I would skip the local lunch though 🤨
Perfect morning Enma, visiting field and ancient house. Nice explanations. I recommand it. Really interesting. Thanks
Great half day out. Maipii is an excellent and safe scooter rider. Speaks very good English. Went to some interesting places and ate a delicious Banh Mi. Time well spent !
Had a great day with Ngan. The tour is fun and interesting, it’s also a nice change from the usual city tours as you get to see other parts of Hanoi to where it no longer feels like Hanoi. Ngan is a great tour guide, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I enjoyed my day out with her, thank you very much Ngan 🙏
Love this side of hanoi. Beautiful scenery, lovely people. Very calm and peaceful environment. Would love to do this again with friends and family.
Amazing tour. Learn a lot about the countryside of hanoi. Mai is amazing. Would love to do this again. People on the countryside were amazingly chill
Ami and Happy took us on a very relaxing and interesting tour. We enjoyed everything we saw and their driving and tour guide skills were really very good. We learned a lot about the citadel temple and enjoyed visiting the elderly couple with the bonsai, who made us laugh and feel very welcome. There were no hoards of tourists, and felt very authentic. We loved it!
We recently enjoyed a motorbike tour through the countryside with Asia Motorbike Adventures and Jeep Tours, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our riders, Summi and Happy, were fantastic—energetic, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Summi, who also served as our guide, took excellent care of us, sharing detailed insights and making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout. Minh was incredibly helpful with photos, ensuring we captured all the best moments. Thank you to the team for organizing such a wonderful tour. We highly recommend this experience to everyone!
I booked this tour to see something different and out of the “standard” available options when in Hanoi. Money was my guide on this tour. We started the tour with a good lunch. It was quite the experience to be on the back of a scooter while the driver navigates the chaotic traffic of Hanoi, Money did this highly skilled. She showed me the places as described in the itinerary. When arriving at the points of interest she told me about it, why it’s a point of interest and historical knowledge. We had quite some nice conversations about the history of the places and all other things that came up. As there is 1 driver for 1 person there is always enough time to ask questions and really get a conversation going. If you want an alternative experience with an authentic guide, you need to book this tour!
I have had a wonderful afternoon with Mai. She took me to lots of delightful places to the north of Hanoi. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
This tour was a fabulous way to end our Hanoi stay - our guide Hoa was very knowledgeable and our fantastic drivers - Linh and Money were lovely and great at navigating the traffic!! A highlight was a visit to a local house with bonsai garden! A must do to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
Mia was a fantastic guide who spoke very good English, was engaging and knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We had a great trip out of the city and loved being away from the busy town. Very confident drivers and made us Dee very safe
This was an amazing experience to learn about the countryside of Viet Nam. It was our first visit and we were thankful to have Sumi and Emma be our tour guides. They are wonderful cultural ambassadors of their country and were so enthusiastic to teach us about the culture and even Buddhism. We picked this tour as we liked this company’s mission to bring more women to the workforce and are so glad to see such companies exist in the world. Thank you for this very nice trip!
We had so much fun with the countryside tour. It is our first time in Viet Nam and we had a chance to learn more about the people and their lives through our amazing guides Sumi and Emma. We picked this company because it has mostly women Vespa drivers to support that mission and we are so happy that such companies exist in the world. Sumi and Emma are rising stars and are true cultural ambassadors. Thank you for this amazing trip!
Countryside tour Hanoi Finding myself at a loose end in Hanoi, and having taking the street food tour a few days earlier, it was a no brainer for me to give the half day countryside tour a crack. It did not disappoint. It provided a welcome relief to the hustle and bustle of the vibrant streets of Hanoi, which was just the tonic I needed. The rider and guide, Ngan (aka Money - who had also been my guide on the food tour), was welcoming and (again) I felt safe amidst Hanoi and countryside traffic. Her knowledge for the local culture, farming, infrastructure and history shone through as did her perfect English and savvy insights. Overall, this tour offered a fantastic way to take a slower morning in Hanoi to explore the outskirts of Hanoi in the local manner and provided a very pleasant respite amongst the green countryside, a citadel and an Asian house — a five-star experience I highly recommend.
A wonderfully intimate look at Vietnam’s life and culture with locals who expertly guided us through the very busy and chaotic Hanoi traffic to the local countryside.
This was such a fantastic experience - we had an amazing day with Audrey and Perry as our guides. They were both so friendly, informative, and good drivers - we felt so safe. As it takes you outside the city centre, you get to experience a really unique perspective of Hanoi. Audrey uses her teaching skills to inform you about many of the Vietnamese legends and history of the area, but she was also so fun to chat and laugh with while we drove around. A real highlight was having tea with a local villager, and seeing his vintage bicycles and his beautiful bonsai trees. We also sampled some sugar cane juice by the old citadel, and for lunch we had some delicious bun bo hue. If you only have a few days in Hanoi, I highly recommend booking this tour!
The trip was really fun and the views were gorgeous. The drivers, especially mine (Mai), are really good at what they do. Never once did I feel unsafe even when the roads got a little crazy. We drove through the countryside, saw a temple, and visited someone’s house, and in between we stopped and took a rest with a drink. Overall the whole experience was really fun and enjoyable and I’d definitely do it again.
I had a great time on the motorbike and with my driver! I was initially nervous because I usually don’t ride them but my driver made sure to avoid any large bumps and sharp turns to make the ride as smooth as possible. Plus the motorbike was large enough that you enough space so that you don’t have to touch the driver.
Well informed tour guides and they really cares about our safety. What a smart tour and a great way to get around the city. It was so good we’re signing up for the evening version of the same tour. Well done and highly recommended. My drivers name sounds like Money.
We had a great time with the motorbike company. The drivers, all females, are exceptional and safe drivers. We drove through some streets on way to the countryside. They were all very professional. We had a few rest stops for drinks, food and a visit to a local’s home for some tea and story. Excellent tour! We ended up signing up for their night goodie tour because of our wonderful experience.
The views were beautiful and our drivers were excellent! They carefully balanced speed and safety so you got the thrill of driving through the city and countryside while still feeling safe the entire time. The motorbikes were also very comfortable and there are handlebars in the back for you to hold onto which I appreciated. Our drivers were also very nice, personable, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed getting to know my driver as well as just enjoying the views in silence. We also got to stop a few times to learn about different places and get a cold drink. Overall it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend!
We had a wonderful morning out on the bikes with Lily and Mai, who got us safely through the Hanoi traffic and surrounding countryside. We had several stops to talk with local people, learn about rice growing and some history, and to sample local food. A highlight was meeting Mr Kang (sp), a distinguished gentleman who, through an interpreter, told us some great stories from his life and showed us his bonsai collection and his first ever bicycle! Lily and Mai then took us for a delicious Bun Cha lunch back in the Old Quarter which was the best food we'd had on our trip. Both young ladies were unfailingly kind and helpful and we were very well looked after. Would 100% recommend this tour!
Really nice tour in the countryside, we see a lot of great countryside views. We had the opportunity to learn more about the history of the country and local tales with the help of your guide Hoa !
Awesome tour! We learned so much and we’re invited into a home where they served us tea and shared stories as well as showing all their bonsái collection. Also learned about the tradition of burying someone twice. Mostly, though, it was the ladies that drove and guided us which made the trip so special. Thank you so much!!💕
Wow ! What is not to like about this tour! Lovely young ladies, who navigate their scooters like Demons through crowded traffic and show you sights you would never see without their expertise. Su is an excellent tour guide with lots of local knowledge. The trip value is excellent. A half day tour lasts over 4 hours which includes a stunning lunch . I honestly did not want the day to end and you have to try the egg coffee it’s delicious! These girls are now my adopted daughters !
I had Su for my tour on my solo trip to Hanoi and she was amazing, this was my first solo holiday and trip that I have done and she made me feel very comfortable. She was very kind and informative throughout. I would definitely recommend this company as they were very accommodating especially considering I booked the tour very last minute.
Amazing educational tour. We’ve had the opportunity of doing this tour by scooter with a group of young and smart guides. Asides from the fun adventure of riding a scooter in crazy Hanoi, they shared with us more about the history of the city and country, local customs and culture. The tour also includes a visit on the city’s farms, which was also interesting to learn about. Additionally they also bring you to train street! A big shout out to Hoa, Linh and Audrey for sharing with us their knowledge and welcoming us with open arms. We highly recommend this tour!
Anh and Audrey were so knowledgeable, flexible, and so very professional. Throughout the tour we got to see so much of the countryside which was a nice reprieve from the city. Would highly recommend supporting these women tour guides!
Excellent half day tour. Hoa was our guide. Spoke fluent English. Loved the countryside tour . All 3 guides were very knowledgeable about the area and so friendly.
Overall had a great experience, very friendly tour guides that help point out other places to go and was planned really well. Would defo recommend
Our guides were wonderful, so helpful, it was such a pleasure and it is a tour that I would highly recommend to everyone
This was a fantastic tour & I can’t recommend it enough. Ninh & his crew were fantastic guides. We started the tour with a delicious lunch in an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Ninh also conducts food tours so he was able to give us some insight into what we were eating. At all times we felt safe with our drivers & saw some fantastic country side. One of the highlights was mixing with the local people. Thanks Ninh for a great experience 😀👍🏻
Nice to do in half a day to see the surrounding countryside and small villages while drinking tea at a local
The fantastic guides. I recommend this tour. Magic and at the top of the knowledge about history. I love it.
