Oggy and Louis were brilliant tour guides. This was a really fun way to see Hanoi and try the local Vietnamese food of which everything was excellent, and all for a very reasonable price. I can’t thank you enough for such an unforgettable experience for our family trip.

We did our jeep tour today with oggy and Louis and it was fantastic. We had some fantastic food, saw so many great sights including train street. Both guides were great, and a special mention to the most handsome one oggy. Thanks guys!!

What an amazing experience this was. Exceeded expectations, wizzing around Hanoi on the back or a motorbike - seeing sites like Train Streets and eating delicious food. We just did the jeep food tour and it was absolutely amazing. Our guides Kai and An were brilliant. They were friendly, attentive and made sure that we had plenty to eat. They took us to “only locals” places to eat and the food was outstanding. They were wonderful at explaining every dish to us. Thank you so much Kai and An. A fantastic, pulse-pounding way to see the real Hanoi! Booking the vintage open-top Jeep tour through Hanoi Backstreet Tours was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Zipping through the hidden backstreets and exploring vibrant local neighborhoods was an incredible experience. What made it even more special was the culinary journey—every restaurant we visited was Michelin-listed, serving delicious, varied, and authentic dishes. We recently did the evening food tour with Kai, our lovely guide and An, our fearless driver. The food was delicious, our highlights were the Hidden Gem cafe, and the unexpected surprise desserts that Kai found for us, we won’t spoil the surprise. Train street in the evening was fun and we saw a lot of central Hà Nội. It was a Sunday night so most of the inner streets were closed for pedestrians but An got us back to our hotel through some tricky navigation.

Tuna was a friendly and courteous guide. He took us to the true local places to eat. A very authentic experience and the jeep ride was so fun!

Doanh (John) was amazing! He will give you the best tour of Hà Nội. He is hilarious, very friendly and safe. I trust him to give me a great tour every time we come to Hà Nội!

The best tour I’ve had in Vietnam!!! We went with Doanh (John). He made the tour 100% worth it. The food was so good I couldn’t stop eating and he took us to all the local spots. Make sure you come with an empty stomach!! And also pick the motorbike/vespa ride. It was really cool to be able to weave through traffic. Totally recommend this tour, don’t bother looking anywhere else.

This was such and amazing experience and we definitely came away with a food baby. Rocky and the drivers (sorry I can’t remember their names) were so attentive and great at explaining different types of foods from different regions and history behind them. We felt very safe with our drivers as well, as traffic can be chaotic. We also did train street at night which in my option is better than day , as the atmosphere with the beautiful lighting and decor is magical. We give this tour 10/10. We look forward to booking with you again next year and trying your other tours. Ps another bonus they pickup and drop off to your hotel ( some companies make you meet at a meeting point).

Really good trip and you get a front row seat at the Train street, with all food and drink included. Make sure you come hungry.

Unforgettable experience with Oggy and his gang of fun and experience riders. We went to places that we had not even thought of and were amazed by everything. Being in the traffic on a bike gives you an excellent sense of immersion in the real Hanoi. The tiny streets, the train, the food are all exceptional. Thanks Oggy. He even remembers everybody's name in our group of 11. Amazing.

I loved this tour. Food was great. Make sure you are hungry because there is plenty. The small alley ways was so much fun. Great for all ages from 10 to 57.

Amazing evening with Oggy and the crew. Booking process was seamless. Instructions and explanation was very easy. On the day of the tour Oggy contacted us through WhatsApp and sent very good instructions on where to meet since we were staying outside of the old quarter. The drivers were very experienced, professional and safe. The traffic was so busy but they were expert navigators. The food and explanation of the food experience far exceeded our expectations. We saw so much, ate so much and had an experience of a lifetime. Highly highly recommend this tour company.

This is the second time I'm doing this food tour. This time we visited some different stops and places than the first time. Doanh our guide was very knowledgeable about the Vietnamese and Hanoiain cuisine and culture so we learned really a lot of interesting facts and things about Vietnam. We had really delicious ban xeo, banh khuc and sine other really delicious local dishes. It was really very nice Friday evening in downtown Hanoi and we really recommend it. We might do it again.

John our guide was great. Friendly and very knowledgable. Gave us lots of interesting information. We went to various places to eat and tried many different Vietnamese foods and drinks. Good to tour on the back of Vespa bikes too. Would recommend the tour and our guide John

Our guide Ria and our driver Lucky created unforgettable experiences for us on this tour. We learned so much about Vietnamese food and Hanoi. Tried foods we would not have thought about on our own at places both famous and unknown. Ria's expert coordination made it all so easy, we were just able to sit back and relax. Kai and Quang were both fantastic! The hospitality was more than what we expected. They shared the rich history of the city and pointed to key sites. They made us feel very comfortable and went above and beyond the service. I like that we bonded on stray dogs in the city and charity initiatives. The hidden gem cafe was my absolutely fave! Absolute must do tour when in Hanoi! Kai and Quam were expert drivers and we felt very safe. It is thrilling to be part of the hustle!! Kai was a fantastic tour guide with lots of knowledge, humour and friendliness. He was accommodating to make sure I had delicious food without any meat in it....and it was delicious!! Undoubtedly will be one of our favorite experiences in Vietnam! Kai and his gang (August, Hau, and Dong) did an amazing job accommodating our needs and requests…with kids in tote, they understood the tour would need to bend a little and they went out of our way to make for an excellent experience. I had an amazing time on the motorcycle food tour in Hanoi! Our guide, Kai, was very knowledgeable about the city, politics, culture, and anything we asked him about! The locations we went were both tasty and local. My driver, Manh, was very nice to talk to and I felt safe on the back of the bike the whole time. Overall I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hanoi!
