We'll zigzag through narrow alleys to Huu Tiep Lake, where an aircraft shot down in 1972 still lies in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Along the way, we'll stop at a local family's house and chat with the owner, a war veteran, about his fascinating stories about Vietnam from his childhood to modern times. We'll also learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.
We'll explore the famous train track where locals live just centimeters away. To support the local community and savor authentic dishes, we'll have lunch at family-run eateries where locals love to hang out with friends. Afterwards, we'll stop at a special cafe that has been serving Egg coffee since 1946.
Emma and Mr Kim (and Kai) were great. Lunch was fantastic including traditional dishes. Went through backstreets and into the country. Saw many key monuments, markets and other notable features. Would recommend this tour with these people.

This was an amazing tour from start to finish our tour guide Jinny was amazing, she was so very kind, concederate and very knowledgeable, nothing was a problem for her and she was more than happy to answer all questions. The tour its self was fantastic, the sights, the history, oh and the food, the secret spots just great. Pick up was early very professional our driver was very very good driver. Ginny was a great guide we did the Hanoi insight half day by jeep and the only drawback was we spent too much time on banana Island and didn’t get to see enough of the city of Hanoi, so overall my advice will be to spend less time on banana Island. That said, overall the trip was good and our guide Ginny was very informative spoke excellent English and very easy and fun.

This tour was worth every penny. There was no way I would have had such a great experience trying to do all the activities on my own. The ease of booking at the hotel, the driver, the guide - all aspects were smoothly executed. Emma was a font of information and answered every one of my multitude of questions. Kai was a rock star driver. Hanoi traffic is intense & he handeled it expertly.

Booked this trip the day before we went, our tour guide was Happy and she lived up to her name, she was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited, the food we had for lunch was out of this world, we loved every minute of our afternoon, the driver and support driver were also very good but unfortunately I can't remember their names, you are given options of places to see and if you have already visited them your tour guide will take you somewhere different, the jeep experience was brilliant, I would highly recommend booking this tour.

Very efficient, personal and enlightening trip with Summi our guide and Khang our driver. We wanted our last day to be more culturally immersed in Hanoi day to day and we were not disappointed. Timing was great and they picked us up where we were staying. Unique trip to us as we’d already done the train street, Summi changed it up. Emma collected us at our Hotel We jumped into a taxi out of the busy old quarter to meet the jeep and Mr bean the driver !! Emma was very knowledgeable and showed is 5 or 6 Tourist locations and explained the history behind each historical place . Great way to whizz around the city in the morning , finishing up at Train street for a snack and wait for the famous train to pass next to the houses .
