We had a wonderful tour, guided by Dave who was very knowledgable and made the tour fun and even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend the countryside and pottery village tour, and if you get Dave as your guide then even better!

This tour was made incredibly enjoyable thanks to our guide, Lewis. You should definitely request him specifically to ensure the most informative and rewarding experience possible. He is very cheerful, easy to talk to, and truly engaged with the whole group, making us feel right at home throughout the journey. We learned so much from him. It was a fantastic experience to ride in a vintage Russian-style Jeep, immersing ourselves in the bustling traffic while out in the open air.

A memorable experience was our visit to Banana Island—a place that felt like an entirely different world, completely removed from the city. It was well worth the price! We learned a great deal from our guide. Both the driver and our guide, Luis, were incredibly kind and friendly. The trip was very relaxing, and we all truly enjoyed it! The duration of the tour was also just right.

Highly recommend this tour. We did a private 4 hour tour with Johnny and Gina. We loved visiting the city and experiencing the culture, the jeep is a prefect way to see a lot. Private was special to us since we got to speak to Gina one on one. Her English was great. Prefect size just us! Try the egg coffee or the coconut ice coffee. I have to say not what I thought it would be but my favorite was the coconut coffee but I got it cold… tasty… We had lunch included and that was yummy and worth trying!

I really enjoyed this tour of Hanoi. Our guide, Louis, was very personable and highly knowledgeable about the city and the sites we visited. He spoke excellent English. The driver was also very skillful in navigating through rush-hour traffic... I am completely satisfied with this trip.

We gained a fascinating insight into the history of Hanoi, thanks to Lewis’s informative explanations. We especially enjoyed our visit to "Banana Island"! The tour, the food, and the historical sites we visited were all fantastic—a perfect choice for anyone looking for a half-day excursion.

This was an amazing tour. Very interesting, entertaining, educational. Out your guide Hiu was the star, with the driver passionately taking us where needed. Was fun and easy going also. Ceramics factory an absolute highlight. Last stop- The Hidden Gem restaurant is definitely a destination to go to in town even if you don’t take the tour. Great place with great food! Loved our time!

Absolutely wonderful. Our guide Fin and the guide Anni from the other jeep that traveled with us were enthusiastic, informative and very friendly. Could not fault them. Everything about the tour was terrific and the time allowed for each stop was perfect. We never felt rushed or left hanging around. The lunch and train street were highlights. .

Very pleasant guide who speaks brilliant English and tell some history at every stop during the tour. Lunch was great at a hidden gem restaurant. I would recommend to book this tour and you be sure you have a great time and plenty pictures.

This is the best way to explore Hanoi's bustling little streets. Our guide, Louis, was fantastic, funny, and told us so many stories about the city's culture and history. Our driver, Suc, safely guided us through the chaotic streets. The trip ended with a fantastic lunch in the Old Quarter, colorful, vibrant, and refreshing. The staff were also very friendly. The jeep tour was a fantastic addition to our Hanoi trip. It was a very unique way to explore the hidden corners of the city with fascinating stops and commentary. Our guide, Lewis, and driver, Dat, were both very professional. I highly recommend it.

What a fun day! Kai and Leo took us to the most interesting areas of Hanoi that we wouldn’t have seen without them. We especially enjoyed the small alleyways where the locals live in the city and to Banana Island along the Red River- a bit of countryside right next to Hanoi! The jeep ride itself was fun and they provided ice cold water. Come hungry! They treat you to a delicious meal at the Hidden Gem Cafe! The cafe itself is a treat, it is delightfully quirky with everything made from recycled materials. A must do when in Hanoi!

10/10 highly recommended. Rocky was our excellent host and kept the group interested the whole tour. “Lucky” the amazing driver for the day made driving through the streets of Hanoi feel safe. Food for vegetarian and meat eaters was too quality.

Overall we enjoyed this tour it’s always fun to cruise around in a jeep. I had tried to avoid food related tours so was a little annoying to start the tour in a cafe with meals served which we didn’t want! The food did look delicious so if you’re hungry you could enjoy that but some of us didn’t want to tour around with full bellies where bathrooms are not always readily available! We liked the things we saw on this tour particularly the banana plantation, the bridge, the war museum was fascinating! And Train Street was definitely a highlight and well planned! But you do pass by many of the sites very quickly without really a second to stop and take any photos! It was also a highlight to see local communities and how they live and go into laneways and learn more about how people live in Hanoi. This was overall a good tour but you’d need to do an additional tour (or have more time yourself exploring) to see more of the highlights and have more time to stop and explore if you want to properly see more of Hanoi. Thank you we did enjoy ourselves and the jeep was fun - even though I also think squashing in 6 people was a bit of a squeeze!

Excellent value for money included 2 course lunch, drink at the train station cafe, water in the car, pickup from hotel and excellent tour guide, Kai and driver, Hai. We had a group ranging 10yo-87yo wanting to see a bit of Hanoi but not wanting to walk through all the different streets. This ticked all the boxes with some experiential stuff like the train cafe (Kai had arranged for us to have 5 seats at a car), he was our waiter at the amazing Hidden Cafe and the driver, Hai, was very considerate and aware of our photographer taking photos and ensured he slowed down at certain monuments/attractions we wanted to. Attire.

Bali and Mr T very informative and knowledgeable about the area's. We were in train street just before the train came through. Hidden Gem Cafe, was a little hesitant walking down alley way. But what a surprise the food was amazing and the upcycled materials added characters. The highlight of the trip was the trip to the Red River and the Old bridge. The war museum was fascinating. Thankyou Guy's for a memorable introduction to Vietnam.

Tuna was an incredible tour guide, he was very knowledgeable about all the sights and was incredible at making the tour feel very authentic. It was amazing to get the atmosphere of the local areas and learn so many incredible things about the culture and the sights. Would definitely recommend!!

Great experience with Tuna and his driver. Very interesting trip with train street included, Tuna described every area in Hanoi and at the end whole trip finishes in real gem of flavours in Hanoi with great spring rolls, bahn mi and coffee. Fully recommend for families!
