This tour was like getting 5 for the price of 1. Great food, great driving around Hoian at night, experienced train Street, learning about Hoian from our guide, Charlie, and learning about life in Vietnam. It exceeded expectations. Charlie was so friendly. He pointed out landmarks and stories behind them, and during meals we were able to ask questions about the political, economic and social landscape of Vietnam, and he was so informative and happy to answer anything. We couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend doing this at the beginning of your journey. The driver was lovely and the Jeep was super cool.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to our guide, Charlie! We were so exhausted from travelling, but having him as our guide was so much fun. He was so knowledgeable, and his energy honestly made us forget how tired we were. Kinda sad we only got to spend 4–5 hours with him because he’s probably one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. We left the planning got Hanoi until the last minute because we were unsure how much time we would have to do a tour. We contacted Thai in the morning who was super responsive and organised a tour for an hour later. The tour took us to some places we didn’t expect but so pleased we did. We visited a farm on the outskirts of Hanoi that was really fascinating. Great way to see the sights and stay cool in the open top Jeep.

Such a lovely tour with Charlie. We were very happy to have Charlie as the tour guide for our family. We tried a lot of very good food. It was different, but also very delicious. Hanoi at night was also very peaceful and brought me a sense of insouciance.

We arrived in Hanoi early afternokn and did the 5pm Night Tour. It was fun from the first moment. Our guide Tung and his team were so helpful and full of very intetesting facts about Hanoi. My mum, who needed help getting in/out the Jeep and they assisted every time, along with helping her navigate Train Street. We had the best night, full of laughs. I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Tung 😉

We were introduced to local food, culture and few surprises. Great experience and a must if visiting Hanoi.
Great guide, Mike spoke well and new his history. The jeep ride was a fun way to see other areas of Hanoi. Along the way we had a traditional meal which was so aIthentic and tasty. Then another stop we had soft spring rolls , very nice. Our only disappointment is thier was no further food tastings.

It was a great evening tour to get an overview of the city, which looks great at night. We were introduced to some unique dishes that without the tour likely would not have thought to order on our own. Linh was a wonderful guide both knowledgeable and fun. We had a fantastic time on this tour. Doahn (John) was brilliant. He was full of interesting facts and stories and adapted the tour to suit us perfectly. He clearly loves food and this shone through in his enthusiasm. We ate at huge variety of foods at 9 different places as we walked around the city (the weather was too bad for motorbikes) and ended with a cookery class - making Vietnamese fresh rolls and egg coffee.
