Mai was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with an experienced and wonderful selection of fabulous venues with incredible food. This was our last night in Veitnam and it was easily the top cuisine experience over two weeks. To top that off, we were shown some amazing sights of Hanoi at night, which we hadn’t seen already. Highly recommended!

Entering the second phase of our journey, our tour guides us to one of Hanoi’s renowned family-operated restaurants, where you’ll have the pleasure of savoring Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles). Following this culinary delight, our exploration continues through densely packed streets, leading us to Train Street—a vibrant alley where locals cook, unwind, and trade their wares beside active train tracks. This offers a unique window into the nightly activities of Hanoi’s residents.
As the night unfolds, the tour makes a meaningful pause at the Mausoleum, providing participants with a distinctive opportunity to witness the solemnity and sanctity of the evening ceremonies. This encounter not only imparts enlightenment but also upholds a sense of respect, offering a glimpse into the cultural significance of this historical site. In the third stage of our tour, we lead you to the enduring presence of a B52 bomber, gracefully resting in the heart of Hanoi’s Huu Tiep Lake for almost half a century, situated in the Ngoc Ha flower village. Continuing our exploration, we navigate through streets adorned with the radiant glow of vibrant lanterns and decorative lights, both in the Old Quarter and the French Quarter. Riding along the banks of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, we absorb the enchanting views of Hanoi cloaked in the serenity of the night.
In the fourth stage of the tour, we shift our focus to a gastronomic escapade, offering participants a dinner experience in the area. This culinary interlude enables them to indulge in the exquisite flavors of pho rolls in Ngu Xa village, fully immersing themselves in the vibrant tapestry of the local food scene. Following this delectable exploration, a delightful pause unfolds, featuring a tasting session of mango pudding dessert, imparting a sweet note to the culinary journey of the night.

What an amazing experience! Our guides and driver Bill, Ban & Chris we're fantastic! Driving around in the jeep was fun, and added to the experience. We were taken around and every stop had such wonderful dishes we couldn't wait for the next stop on the tour. We learned so much about the cuisine as well as the history behind the dishes. We were also shown the proper way to eat each dish. These dishes we wouldn't have ordered since we didn't know what they were, but Bill nailed and we LOVED everything he ordered. We mentioned some dietary restrictions we have at the beginning of the evening and they flawlessly adjusted the nights plan and it was perfect. We had such a great time and great conversation that we hated to see the evening end. We didn't end up having tour guides, we ended up making three new friends! Don't miss this tour!
I switched this tour to the food tour at the last minute (communication via text msg which was so easy and prompt), which travelled by scooter and it was totally worth it! ESP if you’re solo. The food tour still saw 40% of the site seeing tour and both included train street (worth seeing!) There was one other with me on the tour so really got a personal experience where it felt like a private tour. Our guides Bean & Audrey were incredible and so knowledgeable! They really made the tour the best thing I have done since being in Hanoi. As well as telling me a bit about the history and sites around the city, they expertly navigated the traffic and I always felt very safe on the scooter. They both had excellent English and were super friendly! I would love to have them again for any tour I might do! Travelling by scooter in the Hanoi traffic was one of the most fun parts of the tour! We were so full by the end of the tour but I liked the restaurants so much I went back the next day to one of them to show my friends the Banh Coun. So silky and made right before we ate it in front of our eyes. It doesn’t get any fresher. The final restaurant on the tour was a seafood restaurant where we got to choose what we wanted to eat so we tried tamarind quail egg, pipi’s, oysters, pork, and snails! Sooo many snail dishes on the menu! Audrey showed us how to eat them right out of the shell! I had such an incredible day, all thanks to the people I was with and totally recommend this tour. Hopefully you will get Audrey and/or Bean as your guides! Oh, and don’t eat anything before you do the tour-you’ll need the stomach space! Thankyou to asiamotorbikeadventures! Booked via trip advisor but they do charge an extra fee. Better to book directly through the tour supplier, but it was very easy to book through trip advisor and at least I knew it was reputable and safe.
We really loved this tour and would definitely recommend it! We had delicious food and went to some tourist sites as well. Anh and Minh were great hosts and looked after us very well!
It was a very nice tour. I was alone but still it was a fun day and chris was very interested to take photos as well so we have profound discussion . I would definitely highly recommend it!
We had booked 2.5 hours because we thought 4 hours would be too long. We are three French people (family) so driving safely was important. And we weren't disappointed, we always felt in security. We stopped 5 times. Our favorite stops were the train railroad (even if couln't see the train because it had 1hour delay) and the B52 place. Our guide (Tea) also provided some really interesting information about Vietnam history. Thank you for this tour !
Went on a 3+ hour biketour and it was great! Really kind people and we saw some nice things we didnt expect to see!
Had a great tour with these local, young Vietnamese people! Had some great laughs and a lot of hidden gems in and around Hanoi. Definetly a must do if you’re visiting Hanoi!!
We booked this 2.5 hour bike tour when we found ourselves with spare time. We were collected from and dropped back to our hotel. From start to finish we had a great time and went to places we would never have found on our own. Our young drivers were engaging, friendly and humorous and we never felt unsafe despite the bustling traffic in places. Favourite spots were riding through the banana plantation to the floating village and ducking in and out of narrow little alleyways. If you have the time we would thoroughly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it.
Had a spare day in Hanoi. Booked a 2.5 hour bike tour. Picked up at hotel by 4 good guys. Our tour guide 'Tommy' was excellent. Great knowledge and full of information. Loved his home counties accent. Fully recommend this company.
Had a great time. Awesome friendly hosts.Young fella even serenaded us with a Britney Spears song on guitar! Food was of course delicious. Would highly recommend
If it wasn't for Lê and Li, we would never seen the stuff we saw on the tour. They took us to unlikely places like a fallen B-52, a plantation in the middle of Hanoi or the oldest bridge! Would recommend to anyone trying to get to know Hanoi in a couple hours!
We had a great time driving around in Hanoi with Chris. We first went to the secret island in the middle of the red River. It was unbelievable to imagine, that the big city is so close. After that we drove to different stops in the city, like the train tracks and the Uncle Họ Mausoleum. Thet both are safe and careful driver. At the end we went to a very nice coffee place and had a delicious coffee there. Thanks again for this great experience.
If you want to discover Hanoi City the local way I highly recommend ASIA MOTORBIKE ADVENTURE. They will take you to places not know to tourist only locals know if you want to experience this trip don't hesitate, its AMAZING. Sa mga kababayan kung pinoy, adventure ba ang hanap nyo try this trip talagang worth it sa inyong Hanoi city tour adventure. 😎 Good driver, good guide and a good experience overall. Certified local experience😉
The trip was fun! They were very patient with us. We went to a touristy railway. I was told it stretches from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh. We went to a bridge over the biggest lake in Hanoi, a banana and cabbage plantation, another railway that had busy motorists and sidewalk vendors, and Café Năng (which had better egg coffee than The Note Coffee). It was roughly 2 hours by the time we were having our egg coffee. Try the cocoa egg coffee! I liked that more than the plain one.
Had a very cool motorcycle tour with two nice guys! They show us the ‘non touristic’ places which was very cool. Like a banana field with small roads. I would recommend this trip!
If u are not sure you can handle a motorcycle in the busy hanoi this tour will be amazing for you. With some courage you can be able to see lots of spezial places and beautyful spots without other tourists by sitting on the back of a motorcycle. We got time for amazing pictures! I can really recommend it
We did the City tour and could not be more happy with our choice. Guide spoke good English and was really informative about Places we visited. He went out of his way to show us another side of Hanoi. Must do!
