Cannot recommend the Hanoi Jeep Night Tour enough! Some of the hhbest money we ever spent in VN, it was an extremely engaging and carefree experience allowing us to experience the Hanoi nightlife without being overwhelmed or wasting time navigating. Our tour guide Charlie was exceptional, he spoke amazing English and was versed in keeping us entertained throughout the trip. The food and drink was also good. If you are thinking about exploring Hanoi at nighttime, I think this tour is the best value for money and stressfree experience.

I had the best time! I had doubts about the tour being fun, since I had to do the tour solo, but I loved everything about it: - they pick you up from your place - riding an army jeep is a unique experience - the itinerary is well thought of - learned a lot about Vietnam's culture and history - and I had the best tour guide, HI, CHARLIE!! 😊 Charlie was very accommodating and helpful! He had a lot of food recommendations and answeredu my questions patiently. The BONUS is he's also funny!! I suggest you book this tour and request for Charlie! 😊❤️
This was a good experience to visit the famous Obama bun cha restaurant, an experience at train street and a good night drive through Hanoi. Recommended if you wanted to see the lights of the city. Our guide was well informed and talked us through the streets history. The only downside to our tour was the heat, which meant the jeep kept overheating and we had to wait for it to cook down but otherwise a fun night out.
It was excellent and our guide Charlie was brilliant. Our driver was amazing. We went all over Hanoi. The activities were very entertaining. We had a yummy lunch. Charlie was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. The information was interesting and it was overall a great experience.
Messie is very nice and knowledgeable. My son loves the food and experiences he had in Ha Noi. We sure will come back!
The guide's name is Hazel, and she was fantastic. We had a small mishap ( our fault) with the timings and she was flexible, and adjusted the tour to our convenience. She is knowledgeable, funny and attentive. We talked about politics, history, agriculture, culture of Vietnam. The food in itself was delicious and worth the money. Highly recommend.
We had an excellent experience with Authentic Vietnam Tours on their Hanoi Jeep food tour. Our guide, Thai, was outstanding, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire tour enjoyable and seamless. Driving through the streets of Hanoi in an open jeep was a highlight, and the food stops were authentic and well chosen. Visiting Train Street added a unique touch.
Had a nice tour with Thai as our guide - friendly, very knowledgable and accommodating. Cool experience being taken round in an old jeep and some great food spots were visited. Train street, despite being touristy was great fun. Would absolutely recommend tour.
We are a family of 7 and had a great time going on two jeeps going around Hanoi at night driving past the busy streets, trying the street food and enjoying watching the train going past the Train Street. I would recommend this tour because it saves us the hassle of getting a table at the cafe on Train Street and the famous Obama bun cha restaurant during busy hours, because the tables were already pre- arranged by the tour guides. Our guides Thai and Mike are superb. They are very attentive and very informative. Thai was very nice, he offered to share the recipe of the egg coffee and the food we tried. I can tell he loves food and we are very happy having Thai guiding us on this street food tour.
Thai & Mike were very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to different historical sites around Hanoi. Their welcoming nature made it easy for me as a solo traveller to feel included in the group tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to any group or solo traveller. Thai specifically is very mature and an amazing leader!
Mike was our tour guide and he was very informative and used simple analogies to explain some of the differences in Vietnamese cultures. He made the learning experience interesting and answered any questions that we asked him.
We have a really nice tour with Charlie on the jeep. He is very compassion, know how to take care all of people. My daughter has a new friend at Vietnam. Really recommend
5 start for Vietnamese food, I will book some cooking class after this one. I dont think they can make salad for banana flower hahaa. Our tour guide is Charlie who is such a funny guys make joke all the time making atmosphere always very comfortable and the goingg with the flow. Really recommend.
We were collected from our hotel by Dixon and his driver in a lovely Jeep. Then we were take all round Hanoi and stopped first in a restaurant to have bun cha, which was wonderful. Barak Obama had eaten in this restaurant previously. Then we were taken to Train Street to have beers and watch the train go past. After that we were taken for Street food. Finally we were taken on a sightseeing tour of the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and great value!
Our guide Dikson was very professional and informative in this Jeep tour in Hanoi. Also we were taken to eat in places that we woukd of never discovered by our selves. Thank you.
It was an experience we think once in a lifetime. To minger through the traffic .lots of motorbikes,on an open Jeep was an experice to remember forever when thinking of Hanoi.Seeing all the beautiful lakes ,buildings in a relative short time was amazing. To end the tour in train street with an egg coffee was wonderful
This tour was excellent, we had a tour guide Charlie and his driver. They took care of my family of 4 and one member had a walker. We visited the train street experience, ate food at several restaurants, and visited gardens, and the the Budda Pagoda,, and the B52 site. This is a Great Tour. Tour last about 4 hours and riding around the back streets seeing the real people of Vietnam was quite an experience. .

The jeep tour experience was such a cool way to get around the streets of Hanoi and see the sights, the nicest spots to eat with the locals and learn a lot about the architecture, culture and history of this storied and vibrant city. Alex was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and also sharing his own lived experiences living here compared to his hometown. It’s been an absolute pleasure and second to Vespa tours, (motorbikes rule the road in this city) I recommend it as a way to get around town and explore if you have a spare night.
The tour was nice and helpful, helped us understand and know more about the Vietnamese culture and history. The tour guide was so king and nice , made our tour fun and helpful. Fabulous family friendly day out in Hanoi. Benny is an excellent guide. Fabulous food and an opportunity to buy authentic artwork too. Would definitely recommend
It was great ! We visited some nice places and we also had a great pho for lunch I really enjoyed it. It was nice to drive through the city in an open car
We had a great night trying local back street restaurants we otherwise would not have gone to. We ate many new dishes and enjoyed all of them. Alex was very informative and friendly. He also made sure we got a perfect spot to enjoy coffee in time for the train to pass on Train Street.
We were met by Sunny (guide) and Sugar (driver) both were fantastic, in a 1970’s Soviet jeep - driving through the crazy Hanoi traffic was great fun - no one messed with us! We went to 2 different traditional Vietnamese restaurants- which both served delicious food, we definitely would not have found them - one of the restaurants was visited by Barrack Obama a few years ago ! We enjoyed the tour around Hanoi seeing several sights, stopping off at a craft shop to be educated on the art of silk weaving. Was also taken to Train Street - great experience, Sunny was a fabulous guide - very informative and a great sense of humour. We had a wonderful night - highly recommended. Thank you
Thank you very much for an enjoyable evening filled with good sites of Hanoi, delicious local cuisine and well informed guide, Benny.
Food was great Visited silk shop to buy items & had tea/coffee tasting Sunny & Eric very fun!! Riding in jeep fun!!
Wow what a tour. Benny and Min picked us up from our hotel and took us to places in Hanoi we would never have found or dared to try. The food was amazing and we tried fresh beer and egg coffee on Train Street. Everyone on the tour were probably 30 years younger than us and we really enjoyed the vitality of these people and what they bring to the tour. The Old Quarter at night is next level. Definitely recommend.
We had the most amazing night with Logan and Riley and our fellow travellers. Logan and Riley were the perfect hosts and their knowledge and company was fantastic. It was so authentic from visiting the local markets and learning more about the local history and daily life of which they are part of. They were just SUPER FANTASTIC
