Tina was very welcoming and charismatic!

I had a really nice food tour with Elena. She made sure I got a delicious vegetarian option at every stop. We did almost 10 stops in total, so the tour was great value for money. I'm happy I came with an empty stomach, everything was delicious and came with a big portion size. Elena gave me a list of all the stops at the end, so I can visit again later. And she taught me how to ask for vegetarian food in Vietnamese. All in all an amazing experience, thank you Elena!

Elena was such a great guide! We tried sooo much food, was a great way to see the city and get to know the local foods. Great to do on your first day in Hanoi/Vietnam as you get great tips on where to eat and what to see. And the guide was so much fun and so friendly!

We had a fantastic time! Elena our food tour guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful, taking us all around a great selection of places. We tried lots of food we had never heard of, and Elena was fab at explaining the background to each dish. I would recommend this to everyone new to Hanoi!

Elena was a really great guide. She adapted the tour to our requirements (both dietary and mobility) with ease. She talked us through the different dishes wonderfully and answered our many questions well! We ate some amazing food that wouldn't have otherwise known about and learnt a lot. Highly reccomend Elena!

It was amazing. We had a 12 hour layover and wanted to eat some great street food and see the city, Elena was amazing and we left full and happy to experience alll of the amazing food Hanoi has to offer. We love Vietnamese food and have it in the US but this was so much better. We tried a lot of different food we would of never ordered or know about on our own. Her English was great and easy to understand all of the fun aspects of the city! Highly suggest

We had such a great time with our tour guide Elena who was so knowledgeable about so many things and had such good energy. The food of course was delicious and so varied as well - the banh cuon was my favourite.

Me and my husband booked the tour and our guide was with Elena, who is incredibly kind and friendly! She took us to places with delicious food, shared interesting facts about the dishes and Vietnam, and even showed us the traditional way Vietnamese people enjoy these delicious specialties. It was an amazing, fun, and incredibly tasty experience! 😍🇻🇳 I highly recommend this tour.

I’m not new to Vietnamese cuisine, but most of what we ate was unfamiliar yet totally delicious. Our guide Elena was friendly and knowledgeable about all the foods we ate. She shared many insights about Vietnam, Hanoi, and Vietnamese dishes.

All the food we tried was incredible. More than enough food. Hole in the wall places that you’d never find. Elena our guide even helped me cross the crazy (somewhat scary for me) streets. Highly recommend for anyone new to Vietnamese food or interested in a wide array of foods!

If you are visiting Hanoi and really want to experience the local food and culture, I highly recommend Tina ❤️ I spent 3 amazing hours with her, trying so many special local foods, including things I would never have known about or dared to try on my own. Tina is a lovely student who also teaches and shares so much about Vietnam, the local culture and life here. She takes you to wonderful and unique places that you probably would never find by yourself, and everything is done with a big smile, patience and genuine kindness. The experience was much more than just a food tour. It was a wonderful way to discover the people, streets, culture and flavors of Hanoi with someone who truly loves what she does. We had an amazing food tour experience with Tina. She was so friendly and kind. The whole tour was super entertaining and her enthusiasm made it better. The food we ate was really yummy and Tina played some verbal games while we were enjoying the food which was adding more fun to our experience. We had a great experience with our food guide Tina. She look us to a lot of local spots and hidden gems that we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to or found! Lovely tour! You get to eat local food in places you would never go to yourself. Defenetily would recommend this tour! Our guide Elena was also very helpfull and explained everything very well!

We had such a wonderful experience with Tina she was an incredible tour guide. So young and full of energy and really showed us around the city and how to live the Hanoi life. She is so knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us about the cuisine and culture and was also interested to learn from us. We truly felt looked after by her! The tour was such great value for money and we felt we got a lot for it especially for almost 3.5 hours. She looked after me as a vegetarian and made sure I didn't get to miss out at all. I couldn't recommend Tina enough as a tour guide if you get this chance!!

Fantastic tour, our guide Elena was awesome as were the other Scooter drivers. Recommend scooter tour - so much fun! Great value for money with some many fantastic food experiences and heaps of it. Recommend doing it as soon as you arrive in Hanoi as you get a lay of the land and try all sorts of traditional foods. We did a private tour and were picked up amd dropped at our hotel which was great. 😊

This was a fantastic tour! We did it on our first day and it was a great way to get familiar with different local food items and see the city. We tried so many dishes!! -a lot of food stops, some on side of streets some in restaurants. - a lot of walking around the old town, maybe no preset path . Didn’t really follow itinerary. We ended up on train street which was a bonus and not what we expected. - more than food. Tina our guide was motivated to do a cultural exchange also, sharing with us about architecture , language, worships, family life, funeral rituals, way of life.

We had a fantastic tour guide Tina who took us to taste 8 different dishes. A great variety of tastings, going to different local places we would never have tried on our own! A thoroughly enjoyable introduction to Hanoi's staple culinary highlights, which included fish- mushroom rice pancakes, minced sandworm steaks - actually very tasty!, Banh Ran (Vietnamese doughnut), Bun Cha (bbq pork noodle), egg coffee - created in Hanoi, banh my, sticky rice and coconut ice-cream, Hanio beer on train street, and an introductory 'happy juice' (apricot liqueur). The tour was brought alive by the ever enthusiastic guide, Apple. Highly recommend.

We had our Tour with Elena and from start to finish it was absolutely awesome. She was super sweet, a great guide around the old quarter and super knowledgeable! The guide from our hotel all around the old quarter was incredibly smooth and the stops and food was very curated. The food was unbelievable and being able to have Elena guide us to these gems and explain the food as well as how to eat was invaluable. Great value, great experience .

Tina was an amazing guide- so friendly and knowledgeable. We had several delicious foods we never would have known to try otherwise. And Tina made the tour so fun, teaching us phrases in Vietnamese and about the local culture. The perfect activity for your first day in Hanoi: 10/10 recommend!
