Good food spots but our guide was not the best, wish we learned more about the food and other places to try.

The best food tour in Hanoi. Our tour guide Minh Do was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I highly recommended

This was easily one of the best food tours we’ve ever done. Every small local restaurant we visited was incredible, and we probably wouldn’t have found any of them on our own. Having Bob as our guide made all the difference. being a local, he took us to some true hidden gems around Hanoi. Highly recommended if you want to experience the city’s real food scene.

Food tour was cool. We went to a lot of different places and left very full! So make sure to come hungry. All of the places we went to felt very local and ‘hidden’ spots. I did go with an elderly mom so it was hard for her to maneuver some of the spots as they were very small and had little chairs (to the ground). But all around very good tour and Bobby was great.

Come hungry, you’ll experience at least 3 to 4 different eateries. Our guide was very cool and entertaining. Good food 😊

Really fun experience enjoying Hanoi food in Old Quarter. Kenny's choice of "hole in the wall" restaurants for food and dessert was great. Also enjoyed his scooter ride from hotel to restaurant. Super, super experience.

Found this tour very underwhelming. We stopped at 3 main food stops, 1 dessert stop and 1 beer stop. Thought the description stated up to 10 tastings so I was expecting more than what we got. Our host was lovely, but seemed at one point in the evening to be wandering around not knowing where to take us. Both my husband and I were still hungry afterwards. We generally do food tours in the cities we visit and sadly this one did not rank high on our list.

It was great to go to cafe and eat spots that I would never try unless on it to look like this. All of the food was exceptionally good.

Patrick was great! Took us to all the best spots and shared history and information about the food and local area. He catered to our style and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Max was super friendly and knowledgable. Gave us some historical knowledge on the places we were going and the tour had a good mix of the "popular" foods and some lesser known dishes. All-in-all was a great way to get to know the area and also delve into some great foods! PS. Make sure to wear your loose pants because you will be stuffed by the end of the tour.

We had such an amazing time. Our tour guide Minh was the best. He was very knowledgeable and so wonderful to talk with. The food was very delicious and the portions were generous.

Everything was great from start to finish. We were about 30 min late, but Minh was great w communication and we met up fine. Minh loves food, and enjoyed taking us to some of the smaller, local spots, not just the popular touristy spots.

Worth doing a food tour if it is your first time in Hanoi. Really enjoyed Patrick’s expertise and laidback style.

Cherry was an excellent guide. We had a variety of dishes and learned a bit about the Old Quarter and how people live in the city. It was educational and fun. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi.

My family was very fortunate to enjoy a food tour led by our guide Patrick. He took us to so many amazing spots and we couldn't believe the incredible flavors. This is truly the best way to experience street food in Hanoi. We also did the tour with our three year old son and Patrick was incredible with him. Thank you, Patrick!

We had a great time on the street food tour! Everything we tasted was super yummy, and as a pescetarian, I really appreciated how thoughtful our guide was—he made sure I had delicious alternatives at every stop that originally served meat. He’s also incredibly nice, his English is excellent, and he had amazing recommendations for Hanoi beyond just the food. Unfortunately, one of the places he planned to take us was closed, and we wish there had been a backup option. We didn’t end the tour completely stuffed, but we were definitely satisfied and not hungry. All in all, a fun and flavorful experience with a kind and knowledgeable guide—I’d absolutely recommend it!

Guide set a pace that was impossible to keep up with. Did not turn around to see that he had left the group in the dust.

Such an amazing food tour! All of the food we tried was delicious and off the beaten path. Our guide went above and beyond and gave us so many extra tips about navigating in Vietnam, the culture, and recommendations for activities and other food! I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour group if 5 with Minh was a delightful experience. We got a private tour through Hanoi and learnt a lot about street food in Hanoi including the history and their survival through COVID-19. He was funny, sassy, quick-witted and enriched my appreciation of Hanoi and Vietnam. Highly recommended!

Minh was an amazing tour guide. He wasn’t just any guide he made us feel like just a group of friends going out together. We had many new Vietnamese dishes that we hadn’t had that were amazing. We also had a social time to sit around and have a drink together as friends and talk about our cultures.

Minh was an AMAZING guide! He brought us where we would have never went by ourselves, and the food was absolutely delicious. An authentic hanoi street food experience. Minh has the best personality, really.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Minh as our guide. It was our first full day in Vietnam and we found it the best way to get a good exposure to street food, safely. Eye-opening food tour with Minh our guide - we ate at many places down side streets only the locals would know. A fantastic introduction to Vietnamese street food with some great tips about what and how to eat - with a top tip on how to clean your chopsticks! Minh was great fun and very knowledgeable. Excellent culinary adventure and orientation through the Vietnamese palette with MINH who was entertaining, enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable! He thought me how to use my chopsticks and how to clean them BEFORE eating using the kimquat fruit…. Would definitely reccomend !! And oh, don’t leave your bags on the floor around him !

Minh was amazing for being our local guide, and not just for food. He provided his favorites foods and his spots to get them.
