Did the tour with Kimi - was awesome and got taken to some cool little places I would never have gone into otherwise. Definitely worth doing to explore as the food choices can be overwhelming otherwise. Favourite was the Bun Cha and Pho Ga!

Have a taste Bánh Mỳ (a Vietnamese sandwich) with its delicious pate. And we can’t miss out on our traditional dessert- Chè.
Choose your suitable time for the class, then head on to the destination- Cafe Minh (53 Lương Ngọc Quyến street), only a few meters from Ta Hien Beer street. Meet the teacher whom will introduce everything to you from the history, the culture. Roll up your sleeves and prepare the ingredient. Step by step, you'll be explain carefully and thoroughly the way of making your coffee. Here's some of the recipes we teach: - The internationally famous egg coffee. Labor-intensive and easily satisfying enough to make it well worth the work. learn the magic. - Hanoi-style expresso-strength milk coffee. Several small details make it great! - Saigon-style milk coffee. A tad sweeter than Hanoian with 3 secret drops. Great!! Must try when you are in Vietnam!
It was an amazing experience and having a good guide. Rose help so much I don’t think I would’ve been able to navigate the street to myself.
Very fun and enlightening coffee making experience with Devin! We now have more ways to make coffee at home. ☺️
We loved learning about how to make some of vietnams classic coffees. David was a great instructor. We made egg, black coffee and white coffee
Our teacher, Devin, was very kind and gave interesting insights about the process. I really enjoyed the class and the different coffees we got to make :)
Devin was a really nice guide ! Learned a lot of making coffee during the hour! He also took time to answer questions about the history of the typical coffees.
It was a great experience! Devin our instructor is fluent in english and communicates well with us as he teach the 6 types of coffee. Being a solo traveler, I met new people and friends.
The coffee making workshop was very enjoyable and worth every penny. The instructor Devin was very engaging and a lot of fun. He thought us 6 type of Vietnamese coffee and at the end of the workshop gave us the recipe for those 6 coffee.
Loved the experience! I learned a lot about coffee and also history of coffee in Vietnam. Must try! It’s really worth it!
Tu/kelvin was a very good guide and showed us many different restaurants around the area and was all fantastic yum and bun cha so good
Devin was very friendly and understanding. He taught us the way viet people make coffee in a very detailed and also fun. He was also exuberant as he teaches us
it was a fun experience with Devin. He is very hospitable and answered all of our questions. We had 3 different kinds of coffee and everything tastes so good!
We had a good time with our guide TOM ( bach) . He is had good knowledge with coffees. Highly recommended. He is funny and safe to be a guide.
We had a very pleasant experience with Lily as our guide. Her restaurant choices were very good, and she introduced us to food selections we cannot find on our own. She was also very informative and patient with questions. Her energy was very warm, and we enjoyed our meals and time together all throughout.
The tour was very fun and we learned alot. The food was super good as well we we're so full by the end of it. Our guide Lily was very approachable and informative. Highly recommended! To those who want to discover Vietnamese cuisines
Chill and fun experience! You get your money’s worth with all the things you get to try! Lily was such a great guide in telling us the history of old quarter. She also recommended some nice places for us to go to during our stay
Lily was a great guide. She has excellent English and took time and care to explain everything to do with the food that we were eating. A thoroughly enjoyable tour that included the Train Street, multiple food stops and types and an excellent coffee making class (thanks for the lessons, Ha). Highly recommended.
Lily was an amazing tour guide and I would definitely recommend doing this in Ha Noi. We got to see train street, eat some amazing food and try an amazing coffee class
Really nice tour, Sarah explained us a lot about their culture. And over all was a nice experience. Also she took really good photos
Nick is an amazing tour guide. He has an infectious energy and joy about the food of his hometown. Also everything was delicious. Ask him about the train street.
All food stops were excellently curated, with great quality of food with fresh ingredients. We tried a lot of food but it didn’t feel too much because there were walks in between stops, which was nice in the middle of busy Old Quarter in the pleasant February weather. The egg coffee class was fun and we made 4 different kinds of Vietnamese coffee (not just egg coffee). Our tour guide Ruby was very knowledgeable, warm and accommodating. It is a great way to experience Hanoi in a short amount of time.
I wanted to know what the locals are eating and enjoying rather than just touring the famous places. My guide, Ruby, gave me insider tips about restaurants and information that travelers don't often get to experience. She had the best communication skills of any guide I've ever met, and even when I got a cold on that trip, she helped me like it was her matter. If this is your first time visiting Hanoi, and you want to get to know the local area a bit better, I would recommend starting your trip with Ruby.
I had a great time with Nick, enjoying the amazing Vietnamese cuisine. He is so knowledgeable not only for the typical dishes, but also about Vietnamese history and culture. Taking the Food Tour with him was the highlight of my short stay in Hanoi! Also, his English is perfect and he has a great sense of humour! If you have the chance to do the tour with him, just do it!
We has a great time exploring Hanoi food culture, Gen, our tour guide was so nice kind and resourceful and told us a lot about Hanoi culture.we all had a great day and will recommend this to our friends.
Great organised tour, we booked it 4 hours before we decided to do it. Harley was very informative and WhatsApp us information right away. Nick met us in our hotel lobby, and we walked from there. Thank you so much to Nick for our tour today. We felt overwhelmed with the amount of different foods to try and wanted a private tour with a local. We went to many places we would not have been able to find on our own. We tried some food we haven’t tried before, and he also knew a lot of history so we learnt a lot. We felt very safe crossing streets with him and he had lots of tips for the rest of our trip in Hanoi. We also tried the best Banh Mi ever which was one of Nicks favourites too. He was able to order us food, and everything was included in the price so we didn’t need to worry about paying at each stall. He caters to what your dietary requirements are too. If you’re booking this tour highly recommend you also do the coffee class at the end and request for Nick to be your guide! Thank you also to Ha for the coffee making experience! Ha spoke amazing English, and even taught us some Vietnamese words and history about coffee. It was a very interactive coffee making experience and we got to make 4 different types of coffee, including egg coffee which we are now able to make when we return back to Australia. Banana Snacks and Tea were also kindly provided. Would recommend everyone to do this (with Ha) if they enjoyed Egg Coffee during their trip & were curious how to make it, was worth paying the little bit extra to do the coffee class.
The staffs from tour agency was very nice and helpful, Jenny and Ruby very patiently explain to us the details of the trip and text us before a day for the trip to remind us that there will be a staff come to pick us at the hotel lobby at a specific timing. The tour guide Luan is vry funny and entertaining, and he always make sure that we understand everything. HALONG BAY IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. Everything is worth it!
We were a bit wary at first about going on this tour but was pleasantly surprised that everything went so smoothly. We felt like they were really genuine to make our trip memorable and we did enjoy ourselves very much. The only comment that I would make is that the boat we were on was not as good as the picture we were shown.
Really enjoined the 1-day Halong bay tour. It was very organised. They provided hotel pickup and drop. We visited in the month of September so the weather was really great. The lunch provided was great too. Had fun in kayaking.

We booked numberous tours with Mrs Trang from Crossing Vietnam. She was lovely and went out of her way to help organise our tours at the BEST prices! She had made our trip to Vietnam a memorial one but our only regret we was that we had not stayed longer. We cant wait to go back to Vietnam and would definitely recommend using their tour services.
