Itinerary
Cross this iconic bridge, a symbol of Hanoi's resilience and history.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or a convenient meeting point. Escape from the busy main streets and allow us to take you on a scenic route through the city’s urban outskirts and peaceful countryside, across a bridge to the Red River’s other side, offering stunning farmland panoramas and a tranquil ambiance. Gain insights into locals’ daily activities, explore traditional villages, and comprehend the impact of industrialization and urbanization throughout the tour. Our main destination is Bat Trang ceramic village, which is the largest village of its kind in Vietnam and has a long history that dates back thousands of years. Get ready to be amazed by the immersion in ancient art and heritage, navigating the tiny ancient alleyways, and delving into Vietnamese culture’s deep-rooted history. Learn more about the current daily life of the village’s handicrafts industry by taking part in a ceramic class with the local craft-man. Enjoy local authentic food.

Tracy and the driver were absolutely fantastic—very accommodating and helpful, especially with dietary requirements. We had a wonderful day, and Tracy made it extra special with her warm personality and excellent English. She is a real asset to your company.
Today we went to pottery village, we had a great time in here. We love shopping and we bought a lot of productions and made ceramics together. Thank for your tour and with guide Darcy.
Darcy is a great guide, she made the tour more funny and amazing. she is so friendly and helpful, we had a great time at pottery village even our products are not good :)
Last week, we had a wonderful tour of the ceramic village. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Our guide Linh shared a lot of fascinating information with us. The highlight of the tour was making pottery ourselves, which made the experience even more memorable.
We had a fun trip with Darcy - delicious bun cha lunch in Hanoi and then interesting drive to Bat Trang. We tried to make pottery (not very well!) which was fun, the artisan helped us. I liked having a young guide who can tell us about life in Vietnam and is enthusiastic and curious.
What a great morning tour, despite the Hanoi rain! Sam, our guide (and our driver Quang), made the tour so special, we felt like a friend was showing us around. His knowledge of Hanoi and its’ customs are superb! He took us to try our hand at making pottery making, ordered us an amazing lunch, took us for coffee and even helped me with my pottery shopping!! Highly recommended.
Our jeep tour was absolutely brilliant. Tin our guide was very informative an d helpful and our driver was excellent. Travelling in such an excellent vintage vehicle was enough but we had a full morning. We visited a fruit farm not far from Hanoi with lovely peaceful scenery. Had the opportunity to enjoy fruit straight from the trees We visited the ceramic village and had a go on the potters wheel and attempted to make something - which of course was a disaster but great fun. If you fancy making something and taking it home make sure you visit at the start of your trip as it takes about 10 days to dry and fire the item - which can then be sent to your accommodation in Hanoi (maybe Vietnam). A d don’t wear your best clothes as it can get a bit mucky. We had a delicious lunch and ended at a cafe for Egg Coffee. The morning was really well thought out. Can highly recommend doing this trip.
The jeep tour was fantastic, we visited local farms and were able to try fresh guava off the tree. We visited the famous pottery village and had the chance to have a go ourselves and also paint and keep our own item! We finished by having a lovely lunch and an egg coffee in the centre. Both our tour guide (tin) and driver (giap) were so welcoming and kind, would definitely recommend!!
Linh was a smiling instructor, very servicing, caring that she was good, fluent English, master of history and place, very pleasant.
Very fun tour. The guide has plenty. Information. And know how to pass it in very good English.
