Mr Shang was a fantastic tour guide ! Everything was so informative and we saw sites of the city we would have never seen on our own ! We had a fantastic time zipping around the city. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing experience riding through the streets of Hanoi with our guides. Took us to many sites including the B52 Victory Museum, a local art gallery, train street the Long Bien bridge on the outskirts of the city, and a local family run spot for lunch. Definitely check out if you have a few hours to spend exploring.

Zipping around Hanoi on a Vespa scooter is the best way to get to know and experience the city. My wife and I learned so much from our tour guide, Shang. He was knowledgable about their history and culture. As a bonus, he took really great photos like a real pro! This half day Hanoi City Insight Tour is so worth it!

We had an amazing Vespa tour in Hanoi with our guide Shang. He did a fantastic job and made the whole experience fun, informative, and very authentic. The tour was a perfect way to explore Hanoi from a different perspective. We got to see parts of the city we would never have found on our own and learned a lot about the local culture. The food stops were also excellent and gave us a great introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommended if you want to experience Hanoi both culturally and culinarily in a unique way.

Shang was a great tour guide. Amazing photographer and showed us a lot of places. We saw how traditional brooms were made, scooted around the city, visited a museum (was sadly closed), visited a war veteran and got a late lunch! If I were to do it again and had more time I would rent a scooter myself and ride around the city!

We are doctors from UK and adult mature people. We were recommended this trip by the hotel when we were staying in Hotel du Lac Signature . We were initially a bit apprehensive however when we met the staff including the team leader “happy “, we were surprised how well organised the team was and she in particular was very fluent in English. She asked all our requirements and took us on the Hanoi city Vespa bike tour. It was a phenomenal tour. I am very happy that we did this tour as this is the best way to see Hanoi. We saw all parts of the city that we needed to see and came back safely. We also had a lunch with them. All our food requirements were also meet. A fun quick way to see the City! Emma, ling and Tom took us around the city in Vespa and we soaked in all the key areas of the city. It was a great way to quickly take it all in. Emma was knowledgeable and took great pics!

We had the best time ever with Hua, Shang and Tung! The traffic was crazy, but we felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed traveling on the busy streets. We saw many of the interesting sights in Hanoi and our guide was very knowledgeable with history and facts to share! We stopped for coffee and also had a tasty lunch at the end of our tour! I would highly recommend this tour!

Best tour in Hanoi we did. Had so much fun, saw lots of the city and learnt some of the history. Tour guide took us to all the places we wanted to see. Felt safe with drivers on the crazy roads. Had best egg coffee and French pastries, loved seeing the train roll through the shop fronts. Highly recommend for a fun day out.

We had a brilliant time on the half day city tour on Vespa motorbikes. Our guide My was so knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Motorbike drivers were superb and the experience of Hanoi was elevated to a higher level going into the busy old quarter and banana plantation. Highly recommend.

This is a great way to experience the local city of Hanoi. We did this in May 2025 and the weather although hot it didn’t feel bad. As someone who has driven Vespa in my younger days this trip reminisced younger memories. The guides Shang, Thuong and Khang were very polite, patient, informative and gave all the information. We stopped by the wholesale market in the end and got some great bargain on the nuts, dry fruits and some flops. If you have half day to spare give these guys a try you won’t regret it. By the way the Train Street is a sweet surprise and a cool experience.

I had an amazing experience doing the city tour using Vespa. Shang and Hung were great people, speaks well English and rides safely. Brought me to places. And great photographer. Well since the weather is hot I think it is best to wear long sleeves and don’t forget to wear your sunscreen. Over all experience with them is great.

Great way to kick off your visit to Hanoi! We had a fantastic tour with our guide Chris. He was engaging, funny, highly informative and knew his stuff! We had to swap our vespas for a Jeep due to our circumstances but that only made for a more enjoyable day! Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.

The tour guide, Shang (Laa Boong), was nice and explain all the places well in English. I followed him, he rode Vespa slowly and safely (although road traffic in Hanoi is an adventure by itself). We had a good time; it was more like a friendly tour. I got to try the local dish, coffee and visit places/roads where only locals will know. He is very passionate and enthusiastic to explain his city and culture to me.

The pick-up at the hotel was on time. Shang did a briefing on the Vespa and then it started. During the tour I learned a lot about the history of Vietnam. Shang's knowledge was very impressive. In addition to the sights, there was also a lunch at the Trainstreet, which was very tasty. The passing of the train on the Trainstreet was very exciting and a unique event. As a reminder, Shang organised a crown cap, which was placed on the rails and thus flattened by the train. That was a very nice gesture. Shang took pictures of me from time to time as a souvenir. I can highly recommend the tour and would choose Shang as a tour guide again at any time.

Sheng and his team were amazing. He was really kind with us and he gave us a lot of cultural informations about Vietnam and its history. He also brought us to eat some street food and it was typical and delicious. I would totally recommend this activity and feel free to ask Sheng everything and he will be really happy to teach you new things about his culture. Thank you again guys!!

Shang was a fantastic guide. He totally went the extra yard and made the tour really interesting and fun. He was able to answer pretty much any question the group threw at him and navigated like a legend. Well worth the time and great introduction to Hanoi and Vietnam.

This has been the highlight of our Vietnam trip so far. I had my 2 kids 12 & 14yo who absolutely loved it. Our guide Summi was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Hanoi and its amazing history as she had studied tourism at university. All the riders were professional and courteous and at no time did we feel at all unsafe. The tour locations were a fantastic representation of Hanoi, its culture and community as well as the tourist hotspots including the Train Street experience. My only regret is that we did not do this on our first day here in Hanoi. 1000%

I have lived in Asia for 25 years and visited many cities. I have been to Hanoi several times. This tour by far was the most fun I’ve had sightseeing in a southeast Asian city. Hanoi has changed so much Since the last time I was here and going around on the back of a Vespa with great English-speaking guides was perfect. they were engaging, informative, and Gave us a tour of the city that was Unique and a taste of the local life while hitting all the tourist spots. All three guides were very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions while taking us to many hidden gems that Hanoi has to offer!

Absolutely amazing! What a great way to get around Hanoi and check out a whole bunch of sites! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and shared great insight to the history, culture and religion/s of Vietnam. I was amazed by their knowledge and ability to answer numerous questions about landmarks and multiple historic topics. They were also very kind and fun which made the tour even more enjoyable. This is one of the best ways to see Hanoi. The tour itself has a great schedule. Riding on the Vespa is a heap of fun and unique - we felt very safe. We did this trip with Thomas. It was a great way to experience Hanoi. Thomas and the other driver were very experienced so we always felt safe in the somewhat chaotic Hanoi traffic. Thomas was a great guide, providing just the right amount of information. We visited the B52 Museum, the site of the crashed B52, the Opera House, West Lake and several other 'off-the-beaten track' locations. Ended the trip with lunch and then an Egg Coffee in Cafe Giang Would highly recommend.
