A amazing jeep tour with Summi, Michael and Kai today. We had a outstanding day tour. Lots of local knowledge and history on each place we visited and recommendations of other activities and locations. A fun pack day. I would highly recommend this group and look forward to seeing them again on our next visit to Vietnam

Itinerary
Upon meeting our guide and drivers from Asia Vespa Tours at your hotel, we will provide a briefing on safe bike riding techniques and important considerations while riding on our vintage Vespa. We will demonstrate how to get on and off the Vespa easily and how to sit comfortably. In addition, we will review basic signals to use when necessary. Our tour guide will also go through our itinerary in detail and inquire about any special food requirements.
On the first stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will venture out of the city to visit an 800-year-old village and witness the countryside way of life. Along the way, we will take a picturesque break at a bonsai garden to admire the intricate art and stunning plant creations.
Meet a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house, try some candy with tea, and engage in conversation with the help of our guide as a translator. We then proceed through the serene banana and vegetable farming area of Red River Island. We traverse verdant rice paddies and take a dirt road off the beaten path, leading us to the Co Loa citadel temple. Here, we will gain insights into Vietnam's history through a historical site with stunning scenery, associated with the legend of setting up and safeguarding the country from foreign invaders of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong, dating back to 300 BC. There will be ample opportunities to halt and capture photos of the picturesque environs and the locals working on their farms.
On the second stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will take a leisurely ride back to the bustling town for lunch. We will dine in local eateries and family-run businesses to support the local community and savor authentic dishes that locals love to enjoy with their friends.
We'll proceed with the third stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, zigzagging through the narrow alleys until we reach Huu Tiep Lake where an aircraft crashed in 1972 and still remains at the bottom of the lake in the midst of a peaceful neighborhood. During our trip, we'll visit a local family and have the opportunity to chat with the owner, a war veteran, about his intriguing tales of Vietnam from his childhood to present times, including its heritage and culture. This will provide us with a chance to learn more about Vietnamese customs and traditions.
Passing through the fascinating highlights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh square, Literature temple, Tran Quoc Temple , West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake , Opera House…
Stroll along the historic 150-year-old railway tracks to visit a nearby community where people reside with only a meter of space on either side.
During the final stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will stop at a special Egg coffee cafe which has been in operation since 1946. Here, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee before we drop you off at your hotel.
Continue we ride to the countryside along the Red River’s banks to take in the stunning beauty of Vietnam’s countryside and see farmers cultivating their lands. We’ll make a visit to a local family making bonsai to learn about this intricate art form and admire some of the stunning plant creations. This is a wonderful way to learn more about local daily life and tradition, our guide will assist us to chat with them as a translator.

If I could give 6 stars to Shang and his team I would. We travelled by Vespa on an all day tour around the countryside surrounding Hanoi and the city in the afternoon. Shang is a superb tour guide, very knowledgeable also very funny and this tour is definitely a massive highlight of our time in Vietnam. If you come to Hanoi just do this trip with Shang and his company, it was brilliant from start to finish Tim Adkin and Sandra Blenkarn-Adkin
I took the countryside tour with jeep. Countryside tour is more chill and out from the busy streets in city center. The tour was amazing. The tour guide, her name is Happy, was amazing, explain well the stories behind each place that we have visited and take care us well. The tour guide brought us to countryside, rice field, see the buffalos, temples and visit local home with bonsai trees. Feel more connection and appreciation of local people and culture.
This was a great way to see the city and countryside! The tour covered rice fields, oldest home in Ha Noi, some amazing temples, B52 Victory Museum, and the famous train street. Sit back, relax, and enjoy being scootered around with your tour guide. I was lucky to have Shang as my driver/tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the city and the country’s history as well as being an awesome driver!
The jeep tour was a great experience. Our tour guide was very informative and a great communicator. The driver was highly skilled. They were flexible and very entertaining. Overall was a fabulous tour.
I traveled to Vietnam alone and I booked the tour in my hotel, it was a motorcycle tour, the guide (Summi) was very nice and very careful while driving, she showed me all the interested places. She was very professional, pacient and helpful. Thanks Summi and Asia Vespa Tours. Regards
The best tour that you could have in Hanoi, very insightful specially with Dat and Duc best tour guys in Hanoi! Had a blast with real Vietnamese food temples, churches, markets, history you name it these guys knew everything you need to know best wishes to them!
Thomas and Bean were amazing guides throughout the day. We seen a lot of things that my wife and I never would have experienced. It helped that the weather was fantastic.
Very fun for someone who has not ridden a scooter before. Visited many interesting places, including a temple, a broom factory and a garden. My guide Thomas was great. English and driving skills were both very good. Didnt feel unsafe one moment and had lots of fun.
I had a lovely experience with Trung. I only had a day in Hanoi. And I wanted to see whatever I could. Trung rode for over 50Km for almost 8 hours to show me whatever he could. I enjoyed seeing the countryside, the temples and life in village amongst other things in city such as French Quarter , Opera house etc. Thank you so much Trung! Really grateful for the experience and lovely vegetarian buffet and coconut coffee!
The tour was excellently done and we were able to see things that we wouldn’t have known to do on our own (e.g. the Banana Island). Both my friend and I felt very safe on the vespa scooters and had a lot of fun riding around Hanoi. The tour can be done in the morning and leave the rest of the afternoon to explore on your own. I would definitely recommend this.
A magnificent experience meeting authentic Vietnamese people. Stories and anecdotes throughout the walk. A wonderful guide who shares the love of her country. Thank you for this enriching day. I highly recommend.
I loved the tour, it was super fun. We took the tour with Dat and Hung and they are the best guides, they showed us many interesting and beautiful places and they took us to eat Bun Cha and it was delicious!! We had very good talks! I recommend it 100!!
Very nice tour in Hanoi and the surrounding area! The drivers were very safe despite heavy traffic Recommended 👍
