Amazing romantic getaway with my boyfriends ,incredible Lan Ha Bay sc,totally is recomend for couples
The cruise exceeded my expectation. The room was spacious and comfortable with stunning views of lan ha bay. The staff were warm, attentive and always helpful. The activities were well organized, the food was delicious, and overall atmosphere felt luxurious and relaxing 🫶🏻
Had an amazing experience on Halora Nova Cruise! The overall atmosphere, service, and views made the trip truly memorable. Everything was well organised and the staff were incredibly welcoming throughout the journey.Cruise staff was lovely, extremely helpful, and genuinely fun to talk to. He made us feel comfortable from start to finish and really added a personal touch to the whole experience.
Amazing time on board Felix was very friendly and helpful helped us plan more for our holiday
This is a ghost ship! There is none Celina of the seas in Ha Long Bay. I booked this one through booking.com for March 2026 with a President suite and a family connecting suite. That "Mr. Leon" was in contact with me the whole time since I booked 2 months ahead of the embarking date, yet on the night before the date at 11 pm while I was in Ha Noi, he told us our trip is cancelled!! Desperated and there was no other options, we have to accept his offer to cruise with Diana Cruise. This Diana Cruise labeled itself as 6 star! We booked 2 of their Lan Ha suites in the back of the ship on deck 2. While their staffs are great, the ship is modern and large, it barely moved! From their Ha Long hub, we took a small passenger boat 40 minutes to the ship, then board the ship. It sat their for a few hours then started moving about 2-3 miles to a place where we can get off to kayak, then it sat there until the next morning and turn around to go back! Not much to see of Ha Long bay or Lan Ha bay at all!!! Do not book this Celina of the Seas! It is not a real ship, all the pictures you see are AI generated or if any from this Diana Cruise! We asked the staffs on Diana cruise about Celina of the seas and nobody knows what was I talking about! We wasted a lot of money for these expensive suites and didn't see much of the bay! Skip these big fancy ships and book the smaller, older brands where I saw them moved and took other people around the bay.
I did a 2 day 1 night stay on the Dora cruise with my husband, we were so lucky to have Julie as our Server for our trip and she was so beautiful, she went above and beyond making sure we were happy and made our stay so great. We could not fault this cruise and so happy we stayed here for our honeymoon. Our suite at the front of the cruise ship was absolutely beautiful and we will definitely come back again and recommend to others.
Organized a 2 day 1 night trip with Dora Cruises in ha long bay, and couldn't fault their service or professionalism, we weren't a fan of fish and they more than accommodated the change with Julie organizing a separate menu! Couldn't be happier, and just look at the view!
Absolutely incredible stay! The food, rooms and activities were all fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for more - worth every penny. Julie and Sarah couldn’t have done more for us, thank you so much both!
We had a wonderful experience. The facilities were very good. This is a new vessel so everything was spic and span. Ashley and May took very good care of us. I think that this is one of the best Halong Bay cruises available.
We had a great time from start to finish. Effortlessly check in and seeing off. The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. Kim led the team and was exceptional in managing all aspects of the trip. Great food, with lots of choice. The evening meal was great, 5 courses in all. Well prepared and presented. The cabins were spotless and comfortable. Good bed with nice linens. Overall a great experience. I'm happy to recommend it to others
The staffs were really friendly, especially Pamela. Rooms were neat and there is a balcony to enjoy the view outside. Overall great stay at the cruise
The ship was amazing. new cruise with a lovely nostalgic atmosphere. Everything was clean and comfortable with sizeable balconies in all rooms to watch the beautiful scenery. A lovely spa and a large top deck to watch the sunrise and sunset with cocktails. The food was great, nice and fresh and a good variety of Western and Vietnamese options. I stayed for two nights which I recommend. The full day spent on an excursion on the second day was fabulous, with bike riding, kayaking and also swimming in a secluded location were we could jump off the deck of the boat and swim to a lovely beach with no other boats. This is not an option if you only stay for one night. The staff were brilliant! So attentive to every need and also made adaptions for allergies/intolerances. Huong (Brian) was fantastic and took care of our every need over the 3 days. Thank you Huong!
Had a fabulous time on the Doria Cruise. The scenery is stunning, the boat is lovely and comfortable and the staff are excellent. Room and the view, staff was extremely helpful, especially Annie who was our butler. Thank you for great service and beautiful memories. Dat, the host was very knowledgeable and nice.Special thanks to Brian who looked after us so well throughout the cruise. He was kind, friendly and great at his job. We had kids and dietary requirements and nothing was difficult. It was a pleasure to see his smiling face on the boat and excursions. Would recommend this cruise.
Absolutely excellent experience. Staff were amazing, especially Sara. Area is beautiful, food is 5* and the staff can't do enough for you. Rooms are huge and views spectacular
The cruise was super comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful and took care of all kinds of requests. Special aknowledgement to BUU, Jason and Andrew for the being so generous. A must visit.
The views were amazing. Bobby is an absolute legend he has gone over and beyond to fulfil our needs for our stay on peony cruise. His friendliness, senses of humour makes the stay even better.
We went to Ha Long Bay for a 2-day cruise and chose Peony Cruise based in internet reviews and pictures. We went with parents and kids - 3 generations together and booked 3 rooms of which 2 were interconnected. The overall experience from start to finish was best in class. They customised the menu for me as I am vegetarian. The pick up from Hanoi and all communications were clear and prompt. The service was impeccable- they assigned dedicated servers to take care for families and Jason was excellent. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they did our beds plus a superb dinner act that we will remember forever. Rooms were tidy and the overall experience was something that will stay with us. Kids and parents all had fun - something for everyone. Loved it.
We did the 2 night cruise and im glad we did as for 1 nighters it is a long way. Beautiful boat, beautiful staff - especially Henry on Peony 2 our restuarant guider - he is amazing! Great food, beautiful scenry, cool day trips.
Highly recommend! The rooms were absolutely stunning! Exactly like the picture. Really spacious and clean. The cruise ship was so clean and beautiful top deck with jacuzzi and bar. The bar tender made amazing cocktails. The crew were so lovely, when we arrived to the boat they were standing smiling and waving and as we were coming up the stairs one of the staff was throwing rose petals- so cute! Activities and food all included- drinks are not but they do happy hour for a couple of hours which was great (buy 1 get 1 free) Tom was hilarious!! Great to chat with, very entertaining. He made our cruise really enjoyable and he showed us how to make rice paper rolls! The food and beverage manager (think his names David) and Elvis the host were great. All the staff were so lovely constantly smiling and checking if we needed anything. Was lovely to chat with the staff whilst catching for squid in the evening.
What a wonderful way to experience the beautiful Ha Long bay. Boat was amazing , the food and attention by the staff was excellent . Especially our guide Tom , Jasmine and David in the dining room . These people and all the staff would go out of their way to make our time memorable. Even thru the weather was a little inclement and some activities were not able to be undertaken it was still a highly recommended experience.
Wow what an amazing experience onboard Peony 1. The boat is luxurious, the staff are wonderful and so attentive. The rooms are are large with a private verandah and also including a lovely bath with a stunning view! The restaurant food was plentiful and of fantastic quality (you will not go hungry). Happy hour(s) at the top floor bar….complete with views over Ha Long Bay (the jacuzzi adds to the experience). Our waitress Sara looked after us so well….a lovely girl always happy to serve us and always smiling. Tommy and Tom also deserve a mention. Thank you to all the great staff! We take with us so many wonderful memories of this stunningly beautiful area.
We came here for our 1 year anniversary and we were treated extremely well. Maya especially took care of us during our stay and was very detailed and thoughtful. Highly recommend as this was one of the most memorable experiences.
Liked · I have been on Peony cruises twice. Once in 2019 and once in 2023. Both times the service was exceptional. The staff is by far the best you will get on any cruise or trip. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable and informed. Rooms are clean, big and you’ll have a balconh with an amazing view of Halong Bay. A big plus on this trip is that they look after everyone, whether you are a teen or elder. When you are not confortable kayaking, they have something else ready, or when someone cant ride a bike theres always a buggy. On this trip you will never be bored. Entertainment is ready from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Beautiful boat, lovely staff (Min and Bobby especially!). Absolutely crazy attention to detail and really well humoured people. I've never eaten so much in my life, the food just keeps coming. You'll never be hungry. Excursions were really good, given the chance we'd have done more but the cruise packs quite a lot into the 2 nights. Bring some entertainment for the day boat if like us you're cruising for a bit to catch up with the main boat.
Unbelievable staff and amenities. The executive room was second to none and we were blown away with the views. The staff were so friendly and deserve a lot of credit for the quick turnaround! Of course, there is a lot of trash in the bay water but thats more of a humankind issue, so nothing against Peony! 100% would go through them again and recommend to anyone!
Absolutely amazing, worth every dollar. the rooms, boat, facilities, food and activities were all great. Perfect amount of relaxation balanced with activities if you want to participate! The rooms are stunning, and set up just perfectly. We wish we stayed for an extra night!
Nicely organized and overall pleasant experience. The scenery is amazing and food is delicious. Highly recommended. Special shout out to Mr Dong who has been as good of a host as it can be.
We really loved our trip with La Casta cruise. They picked us up from Hanoi with no troubles. The room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable and had amazing sea views of Lan Ha bay. The facilities were excellent and they had so many great activities planned. The service was excellent and the staff were so lovely! We did kayaking, swimming, Fishing ..... I would highly recommend this trip to others, especially the two day trip as you get to do so much more and it’s a lot of relaxing 👍
This trip was wonderful and amazing 🤩 We got to see a lot of HaLong Bay throughout. All the staff and people were amazing and kind ❤️ Also everything was delicious and clean. I really recommend this trip!
There are so many tours to pick from... seems the Luxury tours go a certain route and by the looks of it, the tours and quality of the boats are pretty similar. However, the non luxury tours go to more crowded parts of the bay. We liked this tour, nice boat, balcony, nice crew. It seems there are many activity choices in the description, but it is more of a program. If u do the 1 night, you do a pearl farm visit and a floating village visit the first day and a cave visit the second. If you do the 2 night, they leave you for the day to kayak and swim in the bay and pick u up around 2 pm. All nice stuff, could have done without the pearl farm though.
We had good timing with group on the cruise. We really loved our room, food and stay on bai tu long.
We booked a three day tour with viola cruises halong bay. It was a very nice experience, but our tourguide Happy made it even better. He gave a lot of information about Vietnam, was very enthousiastic and his jokes were the best. I would recommend this tour and I hope that Happy will be your guide!
I and my friends got 3 days 2 nights on the cruise, we really enjoyed from beginning to end. The guide “Lucky” picked us up from the hotel and gave us very great information about Viet Nam. After 3,5 hours bus we arrived at the habour and got on the Cruise, we had nice room with Balcony and lovely food We really loved kayaking through to the fishing village and pearlfarm. Unfortunately we could not swim here because of jellyfish Second day, we got pick up by transfer boat, we did cruise to different path of the bay and kayak around Bai Tu Long where we saw only few cruises on this site. I loved BBQ Lunch on the boat. The last day was impressive with cooking class and had some Bun Cha for lunch We would recommend Viola cruise to our friends
Amazing food and friendly staff. Beautiful cabins. We picked this cruise for our honeymoon it was all perfect. Stunning views around halong bay and great included activities. Highly recommended.
Wow what a special place Halong Bay is and nothing prepared me for the experience. We got lucky with the weather as it was full sun for two days so we experienced the best sunrise and sunset’s ever! The guys made the trip more memorable by just running everything perfectly with a well planned agenda and the food was excellent
Everything about our cruise was excellent. They looked after every detail. Super comfortable. Food was outstanding! Cruise trips were well organized and interesting. Loved it all!
We loved this cruise, our first time to Vietnam and we had heard such wonderful things about Halong Bay. It was a bit foggy but added to the experience. Thank you to the cruise staff for making this trip so memorable!
Viola cruise 4**** luxury in bai tu long bay was so beautiful, a fantastic bed, amazing views and waking up while sailing through Halong Bay! The staff go out of their way to make your stay oustanding. We stayed two nights, we would recommend this to make the most out of what Viola Cruises and Bai Tu Long Bay has to offer. The food is excellent and make sure you get a great food on boat! If we ever go back, we definitely book Viola Cruises again! Many thanks to all the crew!!
The facilities were great; my room was very comfortable; staff were amazing and attentive; food was fresh, tasty and presented to high standard; excursions were interesting and was great to have a bit of exercise on our second day after all the yummy food we were served. Overall this was a fantastic cruise, I really recommend it to people who wanna experience something new and unforgettable!
The 2D1N trip was very enjoyable, the boat staff was really nice and attentive. Despite it being quite foggy most of the time we were still able to enjoy some breathtaking views over the water and around the thousands of islands. Definitely would recommend it to a friend.
I loved everything about this cruise!! I especially loved the guides! Hoi aka Lucky and Qui (sp?) or Tom were excellent guides. Both brought their own unique set of talents, humor, charm and loads of charisma. I really enjoyed Hoi as he exuded enthusiasm, in an extreme way! The moment he saw me, he went right up to me and introduced himself. I really felt so welcomed and so respected. I also loved Qui, he was so nice and always checked in with me to make sure things were going ok. He even called my attention to an incredible blood moon out on the horizon. Since I really don't like seafood, they were very accommodating when it came to my meal choices offering me lots of alternatives so I would not go hungry. The activities were awesome, although I really could've skipped the whole beach/sunbathing part or had another option, but whatever. The fruit on board was quite delicious and the pineapple was absolutely wonderful, especially the way it was sliced. I really enjoyed myself and will cherish these memories forever. Viola definitely seems a notch above the rest and really strives to make guests happy. My room was absolutely STUNNING! It was sooooo comfortable, I only wished I had had more time to enjoy it, but then I would not have participated in the wonderful activities. I loved everything about this cruise and so wished it would've been longer, but there is only so much to see obviously. If you're looking for a good cruise line, Viola is definitely it! Do not hesitate, book them!!!
A great experience if you have the time and money to do it. Viola cruise boat is one of the smaller ones, so it was nice and cozy. However, the whole cruise is tailored more for the 2D1N option than the one we chose to go for. The weather did not help either. In the end of January is always cold so you cannot swim, nor stay on the beach for hours, nor sunbathe on top of the vessel either. So our itinerary was: 800-900 get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and travel 4 hrs to the port. It makes a stop to a very expensive shop to buy souvenirs (same on the way back) at around 1300 you get on board the cruise boat and make your way to the 4th route that is the Bai Tu Long Bay (not the Ha Long Bay). You are on transit for about 1.5 hrs (have lunch on board) and then they take you for the first activities that is kayaking, or bamboo boat ride (you just sit and enjoy) around a floating village and to a pearl farm. After that they take you to a beach where you can play volleyball or swim if it is not winter time. Then you return to have dinner, and free time to yourself. You can socialise with the other guests and also fish for squids. Next day you can wake up for a 10 minute Tai Chi session at 630 sharp, or wait until 700 to get your breakfast. If you choose the 3D2N cruise you will then be taken to another boat that will take you to the master cave for the day. Main attractions are the stalagmites and stalactites inside the cave. You then have lunch (BBQ) and do some kayaking. Then you return to the boat and wait for the 'new' 2D1N guests to arrive and have dinner. Last morning they take you to another smaller and more developed cave (it has lights that show the stalagmites and stalactites) and you return to the port and all the way back to your hotel. Everything is included in the price BUT drinks. Prices are reasonable considering you are in the middle of nowhere without access to beverages of any short, but salt water. Staff are very nice, polite, and helpful. A few recommendations: (1) Enhance the 3D2N cruise itinerary. (2) Wifi reception was down 75% of the trip. This needs to be rectified (3) No need to make two stops to that shop that is very expensive anyway. Prices are at least 3 times more than goods sold in Hanoi of same exact quality (4) Drop off should be in front of hotel as per pick-up not stop close by just because the driver is bored to make one more round around the block (5) Food was nice but a few more vegetable choices for breakfast would be good. Only eggs and sausages can be a bit stuffy...Adding also a dessert in the menu apart from fruit. Or maybe a buffet for people to choose their food of liking.
Though the weather was not perfect we had a wonderful 3 day tour in Halong Bay with Viola Cruise. Specially the second day were we reached far away from all other boats and the harbour. We also enjoyed the local food on borad very much. I can recommend the 3 day tour and if you get the guide "Happy" you can be sure that this will be memorable!
So it's the people that make this cruise what it is! I had a lot of fun on this trip. My best tip is to WEAR THONGS in the shower as I saw a "worm' in between the wooden slats. But this was a great time and a good chance to meet and get to know people. You do the same sort of activities each day, but the staff are great fun, food and drink is great, and everyone is able to either participate or relax (what ever they prefer). You do a fair bit of kayaking, so if you don't like kayaks, you might be better to do a 2 day cruise.

Tuan was by far the best tour guide we've had in Vietnam. He was incredibly friendly, personable and even hung out with us in the evenings when we were playing games and chilling on the boat. It was unfortunate that the ban on kayaking had been enforced already, which meant the 2nd day's itinerary changed and we instead spent a long time on a day boat only to see one cave. I would warn everyone going to that cave to spray up with mosquito repellent - as the sand flies got us all so badly! I had sprayed, but clearly I forgot to top up or the spray needed to be stronger! Food on the boat is incredible, every meal is an extravagant feast and they are extremely accommodating with those who have dietary requirements too. Thoroughly enjoyed and obviously the bay was beautiful!

Marvelous tour, very well organized, very nice place for sightseeing. I recommend this tour for everyone visiting Hanoi.

What we enjoyed about our cruise with Halora Nova! We had booked the suite and were really impressed. The room was enormously spacious and beautifully decorated, with a wonderfully large terrace and a fantastic view. A real piece of luxury on the water! The activities were also incredibly fun. We enjoyed sailing through the beautiful Ha Long Bay, the visit to the cave, kayaking, and the cooking class. Everything was well organized and there was a nice variety between activities and relaxing on board. What really made the difference for us was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. We felt welcome from the first moment and truly pampered. And the food... fantastic! Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. A definite recommendation.
Very good boat to visit Halong Bay. Thanks to Julie and Huy of the crew for their kindness. I recommend kayaking in the afternoon and the next morning to visit the bay.
+The cruise ship very beautiful as well as the rooms. + Delicious food + Staff very polite and willing to help and serve + Nice activities - The bathroom in the morning smelled bad because of drainage. - in the morning if you wanted to sleep a little more after 7 was a little impossible due to many updates The happy was excellent 👍🏻
