What an amazing day. The entire tour was well planned and executed. From the pick up to drop off there were no wasted time. The boat was clean, the food was amazing and Halong Bay was one of the most beautiful wonders of nature. Viet, the guide, was professional and informative.

Itinerary
This site is only the "meeting point" for passengers who do not need hotel pickup or their hotels located outside of Hanoi Old Quarter (please note that we allow customers input their hotel address. But we only offer free hotel pickup in the Old Quarter. If your hotel located outside, you need to take a cab to the meeting point at 8:45am to join the tour). Our limousine vehicle pick you up at your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter, then transfer you to Tuan Chau Marina by the new express way. It takes 2.5hour drive including a short break a half way for rest-room and to stretch your legs.
12:00 Arrive in Tuan Chau Marina. You get your entrance tickets here and the tour guide will lead you to the cruise. You are welcomed to Halong Bay cruise day trip. Our luxury cruise will take you for 6-hour journey on Halong Bay, enjoy your lunch while passing beautiful islands and islets, outcrops which have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb etc... Please note: The entrance ticket is a must and you need to pay for that (ticket fee is 310,000 VND or 12 USD per person). Our tour guide will help you buy.
Sung Sot Cave is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong. Setting foot in Sung Sot Cave at the first moment, tourists may realize that the cave has a very small area. However, when they pass through a rocky slot and enter inside, they will be surprised by the huge expansion of the area inside. In the past, when French tourists visited Sung Sot Cave, they were so amazed by the majestic beauty and the huge expansion of the area (about 10,000 m2 in width) that somebody exclaimed "Grotto des Surprises", which means a cave of the surprising things. From that time, the cave has been called as Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave).
Then the group start an interesting activity - kayaking in Halong Bay. You can choose to go kayaking or taking a seat on bamboo boat though Luon Cave to discovery the very beautiful lagoon. Please note: This is an OPTIONAL and requires a ticket fees. If you want to do kayaking or bamboo boating in Halong Bay, the tour guide will help you buy the ticket and you pay for that (ticket fee is 50,000 VND or 2 USD per person).
Titov island or Ti Top Beach takes the shape of a crescent encompassing the island. Small though it might be, it wins kudos for its quiet and airy atmosphere, as well as its alluring landscape. The beach boasts pristine white sand, clear and blue water and small waves, which make it ideal for recreational activities like swimming and other sea sports. At present, there has a Ti Top small beach. Swimming at Ti Top Beach is really enjoyable. After swimming, you can relax in an ideal environment of immense sky and sunshine. This beach is very beautiful and is well worth a visit to cool off when the heats starts to get to you. Around 16:30 group return to cruises for relaxing and enjoy tea while cruising back toward Tuan Chau harbor. There are a lot of time for sunbathing on upper deck with music, enjoy great fun of group touring fellows among world iconic natural scenery.
17:30 Disembark for going back on the same express way to Hanoi. 20:00 Drop you off the same hotel /accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter or at the meeting point (Hanoi Opera House). The tour finishes!

We had very great experience. The trip included vegetarian food. Caves are good although the kayaking boats often collide with big family boats.
The cruise experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The ship was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Food options were great with plenty of variety, and every meal felt fresh and tasty.
This tour was, in a word, exceptional. From the moment of booking to the final drop-off, every detail was handled with professionalism and genuine care. If you are looking for a seamless way to explore the local culture and landmarks.
Very nice cruise, great activities, guide was very kind and co-operative, amazing service, an experience of a lifetime!
Great service from Jake and the rest of the team! Was a very enjoyable experience with various activities.
This was the most unorganised and chaotic tour,we have ever taken, the tour guide was terrible, never explained anything, rush iff everywhere without us,we couldnt move on the boat when buffett was served, the food was cold, just a terrible exoerience, never again
Kong was an amazing host and gave us the history of the place as we drive there. Very comfortable bus and great experience with great food on board a luxurious boat. Service was impeccable overall and the place magical.
Henry was our guide for the whole. The bus was luxurious with charging points and he provided water to start. We were provided bathroom stop and once near the bay we also headed to see the Ha Long Pearl shop. Once we were near the bay we made it to the our cruise boat top floor, beautiful views, food and drinks. Our group went to Ti top island and hiked to the top and hung out at the beach . Also road on a speed boat round the bay, fun fun, fun. Made our way back to the Hanoi happy and tired. Thanks again Henry with Santa on stick (lol)
A great experience for my family in Halong bay. We booked the day cruise with this operator and we had what we paid for, what we expected for years. The cruise was so wonferful, lunch was delicous and the guide was very fun. Halong is so impressive. We really recommend!
Unfortunately, this tour was a major letdown. The pickup arrived an hour earlier than scheduled, leaving us scrambling from the start. To make matters worse, at the end of the tour we were leave leaving by over an hour, with the tour guide disappearing for about 20 minutes and offering no further explanation or communication. Throughout the day, there was very little information or guidance at each stop—we often had no idea what to expect or what was required. Most of the stops felt like unorganized chaos, with no clear direction or structure. Overall, the experience felt rushed, confusing, and unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend this tour until significant improvements are made in communication and organisation.
Pick up was on time, very organized tour from start to finish. Absolutely beautiful! As a solo traveler it was a great way to meet people.
Ha Long Bay is immensely beautiful, and a must visit place if you are in North Vietnam. This one day excursion from Hanoi is perfectly tailored for tourists who can not spend multiple days & nights on the bay, but would like to explore it and see the main attractions in a day. The tour started in Hanoi, with pick up offered from within the Old Quarter. Those staying outside the old quarter (like yours truly) have to arrive at a pre-determined pickup spot in the morning. The tourists were put in a comfortable minibus and transferred to the Ha Long cruise terminal . The road trip took about 3 hours. Just before reaching the terminal, we were also taken for a short visit to a local pearl farm, where several jewellery items made of natural pearls are available for sale, complete with a genuineness certificate. On boarding the cruise, we were served a very good lunch menu buffet-style (price included within the booking), with additional options available a la carte (need to be paid for). In about one hour of cruising on the bay, we reached the Sung Sot cave, which is a natural cave on one of the islands in the bay. It is a cave with three chambers, connected by narrow passages, with the successive chambers becoming larger in size (the third chamber is insanely large). After the cave, came the optional activity part. I chose to do the Speedboat + Bamboo Boat ride on the bay (kayaking is also available). Note that the price for the optional activity is not included in the original booking, and is to be separately paid for (speedboat + bamboo boat took 300K VND). Speedboat ride allows you to explore parts of the bay not covered by the cruise, while the bamboo boat takes you through a small tunnel into a natural enclosure formed by the karst mountains of the bay. Finally, the last part of the activity involved visiting the Titop island, where one has to either choose between going for a swim on the beach or take a hike up the mountain (it is difficult to manage both because only about 45 minutes are given for the Titop island activity). I chose to go on the hike, which involves climbing about 450 or so steps to the top. The view of the bay from above is exhilarating and is totally worth the exhaustion from climbing :-) While returning back to the cruise terminal, we were offered evening snacks and fruits on the cruise deck, with nice party music playing in the background. From the terminal, we went back to Hanoi, with a short 15 minute break in between the drive. All in all, I highly recommend this experience.
We enjoyed this trip so much. Every part was well organised, the guide Peter was excellent and kept to the schedule.
It’s a fantastic day. The scenery, the experience, the first class food and all the staff, from the tour guide to the driver and not forgetting the boat crew made the an exceptional experience
Great and comfortable! Loved the cruise and overall experience. The tour folks took good care of our needs
Great cruise with lovely food and hospitality. Would recommend despite the weather. Our guide tung was hard to understand English wasn’t good which made it quite difficult but overall the trip was great.
Advertised as a 1.5 hour journey each way. Infact we were on the bus for 7 hrs in total! Stopped at a Perl factory which was of no interest too many of us. Boat took too long on the way back just to enable people to eat and drink . Too many people in the areas we stopped. A long day which I wouldn’t recommend.
+ Tour guide super friendly and flexible + The bay is amazing. The way back during sunset is stunning. + The food on the boat was actually good enough + The boat itself is more than decent. Quite a good quality if you compare to the other ones. - The last stop at 19h30 of 20 min, after a 12h day, was not really necessary. - Boat crew should find a better way to remember each one's consumptions. I was surprised in the morning that we had no number assigned or else. Result: my end bill was completely wrong. But fixed quite easily as i marked down everything i consumed. - Maybe a small feedback for the guide: a lot of instructions were repeated again and again. I understand that some people are not paying attention, but it became annoying, for someone listening, to hear the same rules/guidelines 3 to 5 times - The bus is comfortable enough, i saw worse, but i also experienced better as a considered "Limousine". Overall, i give it a solid 4/5. For someone short in time willing to visit the Bay in one day, i would definetely recommend ! Pretty good value for money in my opinion
limousine is not actually a limousine. it is just a bus with poor seating arrangement and rude driver.
Ha Long Bay is incredibly beautiful and the luxury cruise made it even more amazing. From the fresh air the stunning scenery, every moment was memorable. Our tour guide spoke fluent English and enriched the experience with interesting stories. The trip was perfectly organized and extremely enjoyable.
The luxury one-day cruise on HaLong Bayfrom Hanoi was an exceptional experience! The peaceful environment, fresh air and stunning scenery were a photographer's dream. The tour guide was friendly, spoke fluent English and shared valuable knowledge about the area. It was a smooth, enjoyable trip that exceeded expectations.
The full day luxury cruise on Halong Bay from Hanoi was truly enchanting. The fresh air and stunning scenery made it perfect for taking beautiful photos. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the area. The whole experience was seamless, enjoyable and highly appreciated by all guests.
The first glimpse of the island columns rising up in front of the boat through the misty atmosphere was ethereal and as the mist cleared and more and more islands appeared it was simply awe inspiring.
Great trip for a short one. Guide Lin was great and informative. Buffet line could be more organized.
Awesome was fantastic day out with my kids and the staff were so informative and helpful if needed . Highly recommended
Our visit to Ha Long was truly unforgettable! The breathtaking views of the bay combined with the professionalism and enthusiasm of thestaff made the trip perfect. From the smooth arrangements to the detailed instructions, every moment was well organized. Many thanks to the team for such a wonderful experience!
The trip is advertised as a full day and assumes you start from Hanoi. If you arrive by cruise ship it is only half a day and you are charged for the 4 hour round trip to Hanoi and have to buy a $40 round trip by taxi from the ship yo the bay cruise. Food guide and boat ride are great but all the boats ( there are too many) go to exactly the same overcrowded polluted sites. And we wouldn't do this again
The cruise was really luxurious. They did a great job with everything, from picking us up at our door, to all the services during the trip , the food, the activities were all well organized and not boring. The tour guide and the tour leader were very attentive to all the other passengers, making sure our safety and security were well taken care of It was definitely an experience worth recommending.
Firstly, Halong Bay is beautiful and we didn’t notice a lot of pollution. That’s the positive. Unfortunately, on this tour you are nothing more than cattle. Herded on and off boats, tiny beaches and islands. Tim, our guide, was quite rude and demanding. Even screamed at a passenger who missed the bus in the morning in front of the rest of us. We didn’t even know at that stage that he was the guide. You are nothing but a money making machine for these people. You are dropped off at an oyster/pearl farms to learn about oysters and buy souvenirs that literally nobody asked for. An hour lost at a useless sales pitch. The place is absolutely crowded. There needs to be better number and safety management. At one stage, a woman fell into the water while trying to get into her kayak. Tim encouraged me to keep kayaking towards him to disembark, which would have meant hitting the woman underwater. I didn’t of course and yelled at Tim for his chaotic attitude. Later on Tim expects everyone to provide feedback on a sheet. Aside from rushing that too, he then reads your review upon which you’ve provided your name and contact details. Totally inappropriate. Three stars only for the beauty of the place and the company of the other guests, and the friendly staff on the boat.
Ha Long is a must-see destination when someone comes to Vietnam. It is quite impressive to me in terms of landscape, the bay is quite beautiful and peaceful. The cruise is luxurious and full of services, including delicious food. Overall, visiting Ha Long by cruise is the best thing I have had in Viet Nam . It is worth recommending.
We didn't see Ha Long Bay. The tour operator picked me up and other passengers in Hanoi to do a 3-hr drive to the port. Only there did they announce that boats couldn't leave the harbour because of a typhoon. They served lunch and drove us back. No boats had left the port all day. But the guide wanted us to believe they didn't know anything earlier. As if the typhoon appeared out of nowhere. Instead of cancelling the tour before leaving Hanoi, they prefered not to say anything and have everyone lose a day. I understand they can't do anything about the weather, but they shouldn't have driven us to the port for nothing knowing that it was closed. Maybe the tour is good is everything goes accroding to plan, but you can't trust them if anything goes wrong.
Lunch was good, the mountains great, was told the speedboat would take us to King kong island when we were on the bus. It just went around a few rocks, no King kong mentioned.
Mostly good tour and great to see beautiful halong. Tour says maximum 40 that is misleading as on the boat there are two floors of 40 so really it is 80 not forty
Small group which was great but boat had v large groups on and we kept having to wait for them. Very annoying and time wasted
The review of this tour was a tough one. On one hand, the tour itself is excellent, albeit a 12 hour day in the middle of summer. Halong Bay is beautiful and the whole experience is very much something we are glad we experienced from a scenery perspective. Our guide was very good. Very organised, personable and fun to be around. Our driver though is another story. Wreckless, dangerous and a terrible person to be around. One our way home we experienced torrential rain for almost half the trip. It was evening and the driver instead of concentrating on the safety of his passengers, was driving the bus with one hand and with the other was flicking through YouTube videos and messaging friends. We were sitting behind him and could see everything. At the time he did that we couldnt see 2 feet in front of us because of the rain. He did it consistently throughout the trip. Total disregard for the well being of his passengers. Someone who really didnt want to be there and used this phone as a distraction from driving the bus safely. Appalling behavious from the driver in every way
Stunning Halong Bay cruise: breathtaking views, excellent service, unforgettable experience! . Nice place !!!!!!!’
Was a nice experience, puck ip From the hotel in a luxury van and straight to the cruise ship. The ship is the nicest among all the ships. Feels So luxurious.
The service was top notched! The experience was memorable and my family and I had so much fun! We fully recommend their service!
An amazing trip. Great value for money. The tour guide Ling was brilliant-really informative. Bus to the bay was very comfortable. Food on the boat was really nice. Boat had air conditioning. The speed board is worth the extra money. We heard someone complain that it wasn’t working properly but it was fine. It would have helped if his wife had taken her woollen jumper off!!
Total overcrowded at all Destinations. Don't go in summer season, it's not worth it. I have never seen a beach that full. We were in long boat ques that weren't able to go to the cave, kayak, beach at the same time
This was average; breathtaking in parts and distinctively average in others. Due to the over commercialism of this tour, it did become a bit "Disneylandish" with the number of people who were visiting and overcrowded in some areas. However, the boat was fine with just enough people on board and the vehicle was equipped with USB ports. The buffet was okay but the food was not hot (like most buffets). Staff on board were friendly. Take toilet paper with you as this was missing from some of the public restrooms. We were informed that single use bottles were not permitted onboard the boat so you may wish to consider this if you're intending to stock up for the trip. The views of the bay and cave were breathtaking but the last stop at the beach was overcrowded. The pearl tour was optional and you didn't have to partake in the same if you didn't want to. You can stop at the cafe for drinks and snacks instead of you so wish. The disco onboard was interesting as the songs did not play in its entirety and kept jumping to the next song but nevertheless, I was dancing! We returned to the hotel after 21:00 so it's a long day.
We had a great time in this Halong Bay Cruise. Nam, the guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had comfortable rides from hotel pick-up to the Cruise ship and back to hotel. We had a blast with the optional speed boat ride which took us much farther than Halong Bay. We visited the majestic and huge Sung Sot Cave and we were very impressed. Ti Top beach is small but it was enough for a short rest. Buffet lunch in the ship was a little chaotic as there was no order in getting food. The life vests that were available for all Halong Bay guests ( not just our group) were old and dirty. Overall, it was a full day of exciting activities.
Bus was very comfortable for this journey, guide was good and gave good information along the way, food on the cruise can be better, overall good day trip
Long day long drive from Hanoi but 6 wonderful hours on the boat. We had a great guide who explained everything before it happened. I could have done without the oyster/pearl stop but had been forewarned by previous comments The caves were worth the steps and the walk. Food was plentiful. You had to pay extra for a speedboat ride but the kayaking and banana boat were free and relaxing. Fantastic views as the sun set
What an amazing day! Duy, our guide, went out of his way to make sure everyone in our group had a wonderful experience! The caves, the speed boat, and the beach were all beyond expectations! I greatly recommend this tour and this guide!
Must do excursion but overcrowded and we went in the “low” season. Beautiful place even in the smog from the crop burning but Authorities need to consider limiting number of tourists each day as per Venice, Machu Pichu. Tour itself is standard - set route, generic buffet but at least it wasn’t a party bus or boat.
A must see if you visit VIietnam. The tour was nice which included lunch on the boat. 2-3 stoos for the cave & beach. We also did the speed boat, if you have time it’s worth it (extra $). It becomes a long day though.
Halong bay is an amazing experience to see. Beautiful area of Vietnam and the people are extremely friendly. Seeing the individual islands jutting out of the bay was breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Good taking care of tourists. Great lunch and relaxing transfers. Good driving skill. It will make me memorable trip for VN
