An absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam - the crew and interior staff were exceptional. The views are spectacular, the food delicious and the rooms are truly beautifully done. An extra special shout out to our waitress Nancy who took extra good care of us for every meal, to the bar staff for some truly delicious cocktails and to Brian who ran a stellar excursion (stand up comedy is a missed calling) to the Trung Trang Caves on our second morning and ran the brilliant 6am Tai Chi session. 10/10 experience could not speak highly enough of this trip.

Brilliant time had, we stayed for one night and was greeted by Bobby who couldn’t do enough for myself and family. A lovely man who enjoyed getting to know us. The rooms are spotless, we stayed on the second floor which had aircon a lovely bath and shower large bed and fridge with drinks already loaded. It also had a balcony, The food was excellent and a good choice. The same with the drinks, try the ha long beer, very nice. The scenery is second to none and to just sit on the top deck watching it all is amazing

Relaxing one night cruise with staff that go above in beyond, particularly Ken and Anna. They offer great activities like tai chi and cave exploration and kayaking. Stunning views all over, rooms are comfortable and have large bay windows throughout. Offer 5 course meals and buffet style meals. Lovely time.

We had a good experience with Peony Cruises. The scenery was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the whole experience was enjoyable. What really stood out was the exceptional service, especially from Chris! He was incredibly personable, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. He genuinely made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His warm personality and attention to detail made the experience even more memorable.

Cris was amazing, very kind and happy in every meal. All crew was very much well prepared.

We stayed 2 nights and the service was spectacular. We loved the room and the scenery, and the tours/day excursions we did were fun and interesting. The food was amazing and we never felt hungry. Great cooks.

The cruise ship was very nice, but not what is shown in the picture. The service was excellent, and the cabin was beautiful, but the food was almost inedible. The food presentation was all show by the “chef”without any flavour to support it. The cruise manager was very pleasant but we couldn’t understand most of what he said due to his very poor English. This was a problem since understanding the itinerary was critical.

We had a wonderful time with Peony at Halong. The staff took excellent care of us and ensured that all aspects relating to safety and entertainment were taken care of. Special mention of Andrew whose smiling face cheered us immensely, and Hugo who kept an eagle eye to ensure a smooth experience on deck. Also Jasmine for her hospitality. The trip to Trang Trung caves was a great addition to our trip, with competent commentary from Hugo who was our guide. Thank you.

We booked the Peony Cruise for two nights, and it was an absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience! The two highlights of our trip were the incredible scenery of Ha Long Bay and, above all, the wonderful staff on board. Andrew looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. He truly couldn’t do enough for us and always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks at the bar on the top deck, Andrew was always attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. He was easy to talk to and took the time to understand our needs. He is a real asset to the Peony Cruise team, and his excellent service made our experience even more special. We would also like to thank Jasmine and Orchid, who were equally helpful, kind, and caring towards us. The entire crew made us feel welcome and well looked after throughout the cruise. A special thank you to the captain and all the staff for taking us around the breathtaking Ha Long Bay safely and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The boat was very clean, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. We will definitely return if we visit Vietnam again. We had a brilliant time aboard the Piony Cruise boat, from the moment we arrived at the pick up point until our last day the Staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was amazing right through the cruise, I would also like to make a point of the person that looked after us and made our trip extra special, her name is orchid We will definitely be back for another round

Excellent service and comfortable cabin. The spring roll cooking class was fun and unique. The food and drink were top tier and would love to stay another night if possible. Tom was a great host, was very funny and kind, appreciated the brilliant gesture throughout our stay, he also set up an amazing birthday surprise for me and was very kind and helpful. Great service by jenny, made us feel very welcome and satisfied.

We had a wonderful stay with Peony Cruise, especially as it was part of our honeymoon! We were upgraded for free to a Premium Room upon reservation, only to be surprised with another upgrade to an Exclusive Suite when we arrived. Such a thoughtful gesture, and they really went out of their way to make our stay memorable! Service was exceptional. Cris was super friendly and helpful, and Ethan was a very informative tour guide. The food was amazing, and while the activities were fun, they felt a little short. That said, the main highlight is really relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. My friends and I stayed onboard Peony Cruise 1 in September 2026. We had such a good experience while onboard - the food was amazing, we did kayaking, swam in the bay and also did a cave tour. Most importantly the service of the staff was exceptional. The accomodation was clean, well managed and there was a jam packed itinerary that catered to everyone’s taste. I would highly recommend!

Our experience was fantastic, the boat was the best we’ve seen in the bay prefect size and so well decorated, our room was exceptional a dream really and food was great. The crew was so caring, especially David (Tang) who made our meals time so enjoyable he was funny, caring and professional and Tami who’s got such a good energy, she lead us with ease and joy perfectly during the trip. Could’t recommend more booking with Peony’s, even our booking process over WhatsApp was top notch, a 10/10!

The whole cruise experience was much better than expected. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Did the 2 days 1 night tour and if we were to come again we probably would do the 3 days 2 night cruise. The cruise was just right with amount of people, not too crowded and not too quite. Our server Maya took really good care of us and had a very nice smile every time she served us, very happy with Maya's service 😁

Cris was an absolute standout on our 2-day cruise. He was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at just the right moments and remembering our preferences from the first meal onward. His warmth and genuine friendliness made every meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, he handled every request with a smile and real efficiency. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It is a perfect combination of relaxation and activity. The staff are amazing and very passionate about what they do. Tam, Daniel and Brian looked after us brilliantly. We kayaked, swam, did a cave tour and a cooking class on the roof of the boat. My only regret is not staying longer. Thank you Peony Cruises, we will be back!!

Our experience was amazing! We stayed for 2 days but we wish we chose the 2 nights option, the cruise is really peaceful and has a good amount of activities and free time, and it’s a small crowd so a lot more intimate. It’s best suited for couples rather than friends and family, but they’re definitely still open for friends and family! The staff were the best part of our trip, especially Orchid and Tam, we had an amazing experience with them and Orchid was the best staff member we’ve ever had! So sweet!
