Halong bay is mobbed with tourists and it is a long day to take the tour. And it’s absolutely worth it. I had stayed two weeks in Ninh Binh and was worried that going to see more limestone mountains would be underwhelming. No need to worry. It is amazingly beautiful and the cruise ship was very pleasant.

Excellent experience. The tour guide was fluent and very friendly. One area of improvement was the pick up logistics. The location was too crowded and so the bus could not find a spot. We had to walk far to the bus. The tour guide came to take us.

The boat is quite nice. It's clean and brand new- hercules grand. Our tour guide is very helpful and nice. He is very informative .. The downside about the boat is the food.. the quality can be improved.
