7:40 – 08:10: Our guide and buss come to picks up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Halong Bay via highway (2.5 hours, stop ~20 minutes to restroom) (Option Pick up Hanoi).
✔️ 11.20am - 11.40am: Arrival Tuan Chau island, Check on Boat and have Vietnamese traditional Lunch with seafood while cruising though the amazing rocks. ✔️ Travelers visit Halong Bay for an up-close look at its amazing limestone islands, rock formations and caves. Whittled away over centuries by wind and water, they’re breathtaking.
✔️ 13.00pm: Explore the longest,biggest and the most beautiful grotto of Ha Long bay(Sung Sot Cave - Surprising Grotto). ✔️ " Sung Sot cave is the largest, perhaps the most renowned, and likely the most visited of all. "
14.45pm: Discover Luon Cave(water cave) with some options: ✔️ Kayaking or bamboo boat. ✔️ Relaxing on boat. ✔️ One of the best things to do in Halong Bay is discovering the place yourself on your own kayak. The emerald water of Halong with calm water and many hidden tunnels make a perfect setting for kayaking.
✔️ Otherewise the beach on the island is one of the most organised in all of Halong Bay for tourists, with deck chairs, cool drinks, souvenirs, and fresh water showers available. ✔️ You can swim or sunbathe, or spend some time relaxing in deck chair, sipping on a coconut and people watching. "
15.45pm: Visit Titop island: You can choice one of the options suits for you: ✔️ Swimming on the beach. ✔️ Trekking Titop peak for taking photos with panoramic view of the bay. ✔️ TiTop Island where you can do Swimming or Climbing up to the top of the island where there is a best place to overview the beauty of Ha Long bay. With a beneficial reason: for many this is one of the highlights of their Halong Bay experience. Even more, after climbing, you can reward yourself with a cool, refreshing dip in the waters of Halong Bay.

Sightseeing spots were great. Entertaining Tour operator at the coach only. Travel on Friday with heavy traffic return to Hanoi…. an hour delay. I hurt my finger at the fridge of the coach while departing without any follow up from tour operator !!!!!!
Over crowded, aweful Food, could not understand the guide. Hot and trashed out. Save your time and money. It was a horrible experience.
I purchased this tour on the basis that hotel pickup was included. However, only around 12 hours before the scheduled 8:00am start, I contacted the tour company to confirm the pickup and was told that it could no longer be provided because of changed city rules. This was not communicated to me in advance. The tour operator has suggested this is an issue for the third-party booking agent, Viator, but from my perspective the service I purchased has changed materially at the last minute. Saying that, once we made our way (two taxis) to the meeting point, the guide was excellent and the tour was enjoyable
We contacted Hanoi Explore Travel about 6 months before we travelled. Mr Lee was our travel consultant and he was professional, helpful and easy to deal with from the outset. He arranged a 3 day Ha Long Bay cruise with Peony Cruises including transport to and from Hanoi. Everything went exceptionally smoothly and it was a thoroughly relaxing short break. If I return to Vietnam I will definitely check with Mr Lee to see if he can help with my travel arrangements.
I had a fantastic trip with many experiences such as rowing a bamboo boat and visiting Titop Island. Ha Long Bay is beautiful but also quite crowded. The cruise service was excellent for the price, and the buffet lunch offered a wide variety of dishes, including options for vegetarians. The tour guide was very friendly and enthusiastic. I highly appreciate the excellent organization; it's definitely worth joining.

We booked this through Trip Advisor so we didn't know which service provider we were actually cruising with - it was Sunlight Cruise in case you wanted to book directly with them. The tour guides were friendly and professional but Halong Bay is just so overcrowded with tourists and other cruise ships. You were herded like cattle to a different activity every couple hours and then waiting in line for every single activity. It was really difficult to enjoy the scenery. The included buffet lunch was very mediocre and very disorganised. All the other cruises were similarly overcrowded and touristy so it honestly doesn't matter which one you book with. Unfortunately, it's the only way to see Halong Bay as a tourist so please manage your expectations.
Full-Day Halong Bay Cruise with Swimming & Kayak Tour: the weather in Hanoi was a little chilly for the swimming!! We were picked up early on a lovely executive coach with seats on a par with an airlines business class – very comfortable! We did pick up guests from a few locations along the way but were soon on our way. There was a stop enroute to visit a Pearl farm, with the visit to the shop of course. Once we arrived at the marina our guide gathered the group while he went to collect the cruise tickets then we were taken down the pier to our boat. To be noted the boats dock against quite rough steep steps and this could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems. Once onboard Our guide allocated all of us within his group a designated table. Once we set sail and extensive buffet lunch was available – this was a little chaotic with some of the local people onboard, but the food was good and there was a great selection. During the day we got to visit caves, stopped for a ride on either a bamboo boat or Kayak (included) and were given the option to take a speedboat ride for an additional charge (300VND/Approx £8) final stop was a visit to a beach with the opportunity to climb to a view point – some of our group did this but found it to be very busy and crowded at the top which spoiled the experience a little. We then boarded the boat to sail back to the marina whilst watching the sunset over Ha Long Bay, before the journey back to the city (comfort break was included along the way)
Ha Long Bay was recommended by everyone and given our limited time in the city this one day trip was the perfect fit. I was most impressed with the selection by the crew on which islands to explore. Each was a completely unique and different experience and the final island completely blew my mind (no spoilers but just believe thats its quite amazing).

Took the one day Halong Bay tour which included the pickup/drop from the hotel, the Luxury Cruise with Heritage Luxury Boat. Onboard the boat a very good buffet was provided which included Seafood and also options for the vegetarians too.. The places that we went around were Halong Bay (seeing the various rock formations etc), the walk across the Sung Sot caves with it’s majestic limestone formations, Hang Luon Cave (kayaking, bamboo boat, speed boat options), Ti-Top island with it’s beach and swim in the waters. It was a rainy day that made us be in our raincoats when outside, however was an enjoyable trip.

The tour was good and arrangement olaso good especially with Mr.Don the tour guide. He manage and guide pretty well. All informstion during the tour are clear.
Halong Bay is overrated it's very dirty with plastic bottles, all sorts of rubbish floating In the sea. If only the Vietnamese Government would make all these boats stop throwing their rubbish into the sea and start to clean up the place I'm sure it would be made wonderful again. I'm so glad that we only went on a day trip and didn't do a overnight stay.
Ning Bhin was full of tourist but Dong was able to found a loophole for us. A really good if you are looking for tour guide. But Ning Bhin was mid.

Me and my girlfriend travelled to Halong Bay on a tour led by Don Mike - from start to finish the help was endless, constantly loading us with interesting information about the beauty, culture and history of Vietnam. Would highly recommend and I hope if I ever book a trip in future, Don Mike is the guide.
Good trip with an all you can eat buffet on the second day. Do not miss the transport boat, you will be left behind! (They have a window schedule and need to leave to be allowed) Doan was great and friendly, he remembered our names too!
Nice tour & mix of activities. Itinerary was a bit different to what was expected & we purposely chose the tour to visit the Ti Top viewpoint AND then chill on the beach/rest for 45 mins but we were only allowed to do one of these things. Tour guide was nice & friendly but his English wasn't the best & was hard to understand at times, because of the noise of the boat too.
Its the best way to spend your day in hanoi . The views and places are very good . The tour operator and the tour guide is very well spoken and cooperative

Mr Micky is very humble and nice person. His way of explanation during the journey was very kind. He guides well and his behaviour is very polite. And he always try to make laugh the tourists. All in all, he is best.

We had a 2 day halong bay trip which was fantastic. The itinerary was very well planned - welcome drinks, kayaking, diving from the boat, drinks, karaoke - it never felt like we were waiting. Our guide, Mickey, was also fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable but also relaxed, he was great for the group. The boat was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent with loads of variety. Really recommend taking this trip!
