Loved the whole experience! Apple was the perfect guide! More food than we could eat and it was great to be challenged with eating food that we would have never tried on our own. Great tour if you have a few spare hours in Hanoi!

Tina was an absolute ball of fun and very knowledgeable. She made sure that we were safe at all times and got us into some amazing foodie stops with plenty of choices. We finished the night with a lovely cold beer watching the train go by on Train Street. Well recommended.

Apple was great! She explained a lot of the background to the food along with interesting cultural pieces and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend not eating much the day you go because it's a LOT of food!

Elena was an amazing host and guide, the food stalls she took us to were great, looked after the ordering, in advance at some places that would have taken extra time if ordered when we arrived and she introduced us to places you probably wouldn’t go to without her guidance.

It was easy to accommodate vegetarian preferences, so everyone could enjoy the tour without missing out on the amazing local food. This was unquestionably the best tour I’ve ever done. Our tour guide, Eleanor, was outstanding with her knowledge, insights and fun approach. We had an excellent group from a variety of countries including Canada, USA, Belgium, Austria, Australia, and Ireland that all mingled together which added to the experience. The tour requires a fair degree of walking through the streets of the Old Quarter, which is just so immersive. The food locations and variety were outstanding and Eleanor kindly wrote all the dishes down for us to order again (in English and Vietnamese). Do yourself a favour in Hanoi and take this tour!

We had a fantastic tour with Elena in a small group of 8. We visited 7 Street food vendors and had a great mix of genuine, local foods. Nearly all the places were small vendors that you might never notice walking past, or think that they had nothing to offer but all the foods were delicious and authentically Vietnamese - we also enjoyed an egg coffee and finished with a beer (or soft drink) on Train Street (with a train of course!). Thank you Elena and our fellow foodies from the US and Philippines for making this tour such a great way to spend time in Hanoi.

I did this tour with my wife, and We had Apple for our tour guide. Let me just say this… I watched so many other tours around me, and every tour guide I watched were no where NEAR as attentive, informative, fun, and adventurous! This was one of the best decisions we made coming to Hanoi, and I seriously highly recommend this food tour and get APPLE for your guide if possible!
