She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and shared a lot of interesting context about Hanoi, Vietnam, and the country’s history throughout the tour. Linh and her team were also extremely flexible and accommodating. Our timings and tour duration changed a few times, and we also had to make some adjustments to our schedule and itinerary, but they handled everything very smoothly and were always happy to work around our plans. The sighting trip was exceptional with Linh as our guide. She assisted with our conversation and communication with vendors. She took our family to many shopping centers (old and new markets). I decided the night before, around 8 pm, to book this tour, and I have to say—I was not disappointed. They texted me right away to confirm everything, including the pickup time from my hotel, which I really appreciated. From the moment the tour started, I felt in good hands. Binh, the tour guide, and Phong, the driver, were both very knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. Traveling solo, that sense of care and attention makes all the difference, and they made sure I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. What stood out the most about this experience was how flexible they were. They really took the time to adapt the itinerary based on what I wanted to see. I mentioned that I wasn’t interested in visiting the prison, and without hesitation, they adjusted the plan and instead took me to a lacquer factory. That ended up being such a great decision. Watching how they paint and process those beautiful pieces of art was fascinating—so much detail, patience, and craftsmanship behind every piece. Great private tour with Kim Anh to Hanoi. Best food in the little restaurant she took us to. Nothing was too much bother and she very kindly changed our itinerary to let us go to train street. Rickshaw ride was exciting and we loved it. Kim taught us how to cross the road in Hanoi as no stops for anything, even on a crossing. Would highly recommend this excursion.

Ivy was prompt at picking us up and was a resource for a lot of information. Her timing to get egg coffee on train Street was perfect.We had a wonderful lunch, we set the timetable for the day and even fit in a shopping stop. If you can get Ivy, you have a wonderful day.

Had a nice private tour with Lucky Ivy. She is very knowledgeable and great with shortcuts to get you in and out, and around locations. Driver was good and navigated Hanoi traffic with ease. Loved the included visiti to the train Street and "riksha" ride and experience as well as the Obama Menu at Bún chả Hương Liên, but make sure you asked to have lunch at that place as it is not originally planned there. Highly recommended!

We wanted a city tour plus the food tour at the end of the tour and they managed everything very well. Our guide Tran was awesome. He managed to show us all the necessities and we had a wonderful time. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour to everybody visiting Hanoi.

David, the guide is a very nice man. He was constantly asking if I needed anything else and was always offering suggestions of places for me to go see during my time in Vietnam. I had some difficulty with understanding his English sometimes, but then again, his English is a thousand times better than my Vietnamese. The car driver was great. He was always at the right spot to pick us up and knew the area like the back of his hand. I wanted to see a couple of specific things not usually listed on the generic tour itinerary and we were able to go to those locations. There was a little issue with getting into one location so we ended up going back three times before we could get in which used a lot of time. Maybe a little less time on the Pagodas and temples; I’ve been to tons of them around SE Asia already. I’d suggest that if you have a specific itinerary that you want to see, outside of the generic one, when they contact you the day before, send it to them and let them know those are the things you want to see and forgo the generic locations (unless you want to see them). I did it when picked up and think it would have been better planning to do it in advance.

A day exploring Hanoi with our guide Tim truly made us satisfied. Tim picked us up right on time and thoroughly introduced us to the day’s sightseeing spots, gave me a deep appreciation for academic traditions. Lunch was a great experience. We specially enjoyed the egg coffee and the extra train street was really a treat.

This was a comprehensive tour of Hanoi and the tour guide (Tim) was excellent particularly in terms of his knowledge and ability to inform me as we visited various attractions. His coordination with his driver was very good to minimise any possible delays and provide the maximum time at the various attractions.

This was a true highlight of my visit to Hanoi. My tour guide, David, was phenomenal and overflowing with information. I really appreciate it the flexibility and designing the tour around exactly what I wanted to see and avoiding things I had already visited. Not only that, but he took many many pictures, which I truly appreciated as a solo traveler, to be able to have something more than just selfie after selfie. Being an expert tour guide, he was able to time visits to sites to avoid the crowds as much as possible. I truly feel like I have a good friend now in Hanoi, and will undoubtedly reach out again on future travels. Highly recommended!

Excellent Hanoi private city tour; fully recommended for couples or people traveling with limited time or if you love personalized travel. Our guide Ha Hoang was very attentive, knowledgeable about the culture, and flexible with the agenda since we had to adjust due to long lines at the mausoleum. You get a private car for most of the day. Lunch was very tasty and plentiful. You finish the day with a Cyclo tour in the old quarter to get to know a lot of the streets and shops. overall a great experience for first timers in Hanoi.

Nice to see some of the highlights of Hanoi with fab lunch! The agenda we had was not the same as the one we experienced. (I.e. we didn’t go to the Presidential Palace but when to a laquer art and embroidery shop instead which was fine, but it was not expected. Tour guide waited too long and went out of his way for four guests the at were consistently late putting the rest of the group behind schedule.

Great tour. Ha was such a lovely young man so knowledgeable, well paced tour, we got to see everything we wanted to. Lunch was amazing with local dishes freshly prepared.

We are a family of 3 with a private tour via Pearl Travel. Part of the tour was at Hanoi, we had a good tour guide(Mr Ngươn) who brought us around to watch water puppet show and local sights. He's understanding in tailoring the tour to suit put needs especially I was with 2 elderly parents. As we were a bit sick at the end of our 14 day tour, and we could not join the food tour, the tour guide even delivered takeaway to our hotel room. Really appreciate extra mile and care shown.

Hanoi is really beautiful and we loved the city with its cultural places to visit and also its food. Exploring the old town with rickshaws and tasting local dishes was great fun. A nice day with our guide as he was very friendly and helped us a lot during the days we stayed in Hanoi. It was great when everybody was not coming yet.

This tour was a good introduction to Hanoi. We visited some different venues with recommendation from our guide. The lunch was nice but a little strange as we had no idea what we were getting and it was obviously a tour stop over. Unfortunately although tour depiction says rickshaw tour, it was in a private vehicle and if we wanted to do the rickshaw ride we would have to pay extra 400000 dong which I was not happy with. The guide was knowledgeable and the trip to the ethnological museum was really interesting.

I had the full day Hanoi tour with Eric, and it was great. He was very informative, and even made suggestions to our itenrary based on what we were interested in. Riding the rickshaw was interesting as well, I do recommend you try it at least once in Hanoi.

We paid extra to hire the Spanish speaking guide in Hanoi instead of the English one. He was great and very informative. The guide was very attentive and talked a lot about history and culture. Lunch was also very good. Very nice and cozy place.

Our experience with this company was great. We booked the Halong overnight cruise with them and also joined in their food tour in Hanoi. Our guide was incredible. We stopped at places we may never stop to the food. It is for sure that there is no assurance for you to eat such tasty food in the proper restaurants. They were simply the best food we have tried during our stay in Vietnam.

APT booked us a night over the Majestic Legend cruise (got upgraded from the Majestic Cruiset) and also the food tour after the cruise; the combo was actually very reasonable and we may have paid much more if we travel with other. Our food tour was for only 2 of us and our guide brought us to many places in town and we had a very nice time with her. Would not hesitate to recommend this company service for Halong bay cruise and if you like Hanoi local food, there combo was not to miss.

I highly recommend the tour guide in the picture, his name is Peter(Phuc) which brought us on our day around Hanoi on the first day. Although it was hot, he made us feel worth the while as his explanation and tour around the lake, temple of literature,Ba Đình Square,Temple of the Jade Mountain and water puppet show were precise and really meaningful. Best that this tour felt like a family even with our tour guide around. Would love to come back again.

We booked a day tour to Ha-Long Bay with the company. Ann, the tour guide, was excellent for the day. She told us the history of the places we visited and some useful information. Ha-Long Bay was really beautiful. We were really impressed by how we could get to the bay so easily. We went through the highway, which was very smooth. It took less than 3 hours each way. It was different from what we had heard.

Rubie took great care of my friend and I for a week. She is warm and cheerful, and accommodating. Whenever I expressed an opinion or request, she would do her best to fulfill it. She introduced us to her friends in Hanoi when we asked for a local experience, and helped us get a room upgrade when we commented about the cold weather.
