Had a very good day out on the cruise, went to multiple islands and lots of activities. The weather was cloudy but at the end we were lucky and got the sunset view. The guide Mr Son is very helpful and got a lot of jokes when talking to the group which makes the trip very fun. Thank you Mr Son!
Me and my sister joined a tour from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay today, and our guide, Mr. Son, was truly exceptional. He’s very professional, speaks excellent English, and took great care of every member in the group. His explanations were detailed and interesting, making the whole trip both educational and enjoyable. I really appreciate his effort and positive attitude — I’m sooo lucky to have such a dedicated guide!

We booked our halong bay tour with this and Mr. Ben was very helpful. He explained the tourist spots well and was a very wonderful tour guide. He was very friendly and funny and he gave us recommendations to eat around hanoi after the tour. The tour itself was very wonderful and the food was very delicious.
From the hotel pick-up to the end of the trip, the tour is amazing. The tour guide and the driver will call you on your hotel room to remind about the pick-up time and they will also wait for you in the hotel lobby in case you are a bit late. Our tour guide is Binh and we are lucky to have him. He made sure that everyone is comfortable during the trip. He made sure to share some of the backgrounds of places you can see along your roadtrip from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. He is also a good photographer :) The food offered during lunch has variety. The lounge deck on top of the boat is relaxing and a good spot to absorb and appreciate the sights. Even if the weather is a little bit rainy it is still worth it to book the tour.
Our journey began with a pleasant transfer from our hotel in Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. The guide who picked us up was friendly and helpful, setting a positive tone for the day. However, it turned out that he was not our guide for the day, but merely responsible for our pickup. This was our second time in Ha Long Bay, and we decided to upgrade our day trip for a more “premium” experience. On the way, we had some brief, enjoyable conversations with other groups’ tour guides. Unfortunately, our supposedly actual tour guide, Alan, was a disappointment. Upon boarding the boat, we were three people waiting for Alan and the rest of the group. When Alan arrived, he immediately began seating people at tables for lunch without any introductions. When I approached him to introduce myself and my companions, he didn’t even look at me, let alone reciprocate the introduction. Instead, he simply said “o k” and started photographing the food. Throughout the trip, Alan was generally dismissive and unwilling to communicate. At the end of the trip, he distributed customer feedback sheets, skipping us. When I asked for a feedback sheet, he refused, claiming he was “not our tour guide”. Despite his refusal, I insisted on providing my feedback. In my feedback, I praised the boat crew and the quality of the food, but I also expressed my disappointment with Alan’s rudeness and lack of communication skills. And now the cherry on top, after collecting all the feedback sheets, Alan confronted me about my comments, yelling and scolding me in front of everyone. He even turned on his microphone to ensure everyone could hear him, creating an uncomfortable scene. Alan accused me of being rude and imagining things, all the while refusing to make eye contact with me. He dismissed my feedback, saying it didn’t matter, and I’m fairly certain it will not reach the company. During his whole outburst, Alan excused his behavior by stating that he had to serve 30 people at the same time. He even suggested that I should “book a private tour next time”, which I found quite amusing considering the circumstances. Funny really how the other tour guides that we met during the day in Ha Long bay "managed" to simply be nice humans even though we were not "their" tourists and despite their large groups, without us expecting it. After the incident, we spoke with some other passengers who also felt that Alan was somewhat rude. However, they did not want to express this in their feedback for fear of being judged. This highlights the importance of honest feedback and the need for service providers to accept and learn from it. In conclusion, while the boat crew and food were commendable, our tour guide Alan significantly detracted from our experience. His lack of professionalism was a major disappointment in what was supposed to be a “premium” experience. Furthermore, Alan’s behavior was not at all how service providers should treat clients or accept feedback. As a tour guide, his job is to make tourists visiting his country feel welcomed. Unfortunately, he managed to do the exact opposite. His inability to accept constructive criticism and his subsequent outburst only served to further tarnish our experience. I hope this review reaches many travelers. The best way for services to improve is when we’re honest about our experiences. When the quality of a service is not satisfactory, it’s important to voice our concerns. Moreover, when a customer is dissatisfied, the service provider should make an effort to clear any misunderstandings, not resort to scolding, yelling, insulting, and creating a scene.
A long day trip, but well worth the travel to Ha Long Bay from Hanoi. Vietnam Creative Travel organizes everything. We pick up from the Hotel and then take a long bus trip to Ha Long Bay. We do have a couple of stops, one for food/toilets and the other at a visitor centre for pearls. Then, a boat trip out to the bay with 3 stops. A lookout with lots of stairs to the top, a tough climb in humid weather. A cave and also another small boat ride inside a lagoon formation. All amazing. Lunch was plentiful and catered for allergies without issue. You cannot bring plastic bottles into Ha Long Bay; you can buy glass souvenir bottles, which are great. A long bus trip back to our hotel.
The trip were amazing and the itinerary timing was well paced. The tour guide, Alan explained well with good humour. Go for Alan for a good trip. The restaurant’s buffet spread was abundant with various choices, more than enough to go around for everyone. The limousine bus is a must for a comfort ride. We were staying just outside old quarters borders and they pick us and drop us off from the hotel.
Really nice tour - you can see everything without a rush but within one day. Also the tourguide was a really cool guy who managed everything pretty well. His name was Binh - so if you have him as a guide you are really lucky. He informs you also about the history of the places you visit. The whole tour will take around 12-13hours but is pretty chill. You will be back at around 8:30-9:00pm. Even if the weather is a little bit rainy it is still worth it to book the tour.
We had a great experience after opting for this cruise tour, promptly picked up at the Hotel, every small detail of the tour was so well explained by Mr Binh who was the tour guide, the buffet lunch onboard the cruise was amazing with a great spread, the limousine service to the Marina and back was very good too..! Overall a wonderful experience, and special mention about Mr Binh and his excellent hospitality..!!
Satisfied with this tour from pickup at hotel until drop off near hotel. Lunch n teatime was delicious n a lot of variety... Loves the oyster, shrimp. And calamari so much. Our tour leader Luca was really communicative , helpful and nice . Thanks for giving us a good time cruising at Halongbay

Really amazing Halong Bay 1 day-tour experience with Wonder Bay Cruises! The guide Binh was a fair, energetic and insightful guide and the tour was well planned out, at a max capacity of 32 people (small group tour). Great service from the limousine bus (spacious & comfy), to the boat (clean), big lunch spread and the activities. It ended with a lovely sunset cruise back. Binh did his best to make everyone comfortable and handled situations professionally when passengers were being obnoxious and disrespectful. He helped to take really insta-worthy pictures and had lots of info to share when asking more about a place. They are quite punctual with their pick-up and will inform you beforehand, so please get ready or it will cause the driver a lot of difficulty in the chaotic streets of Hanoi. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to go on a tour led by Mr. Binh again!
We had a special experience at Halong bay. Thank you Wonderbay cruise. The bus from Hanoi was comfortable and clean. Buffet lunch was very good with alot of seafood. We hiked to the top at Titov island, visited a big cave and specially love the kayaking time. Our tourguide was very knowledgeable and very friendly.
My partner and I lived it. We had just enough time to do all of the activities and the tour guide Luca was fantastic.
We did an one day tour with Wonder Bay cruise . From pick-up from hotel till drop- off everything was very well organized. We feel ourselves very special thanks to the service and the food served at Wonder Bay cruise. Plenty of Very delicious Vietnam food were served , the portions were so big that impossible to finish and they were one of the best we have had so far in Vietnam . Particularly the tour guide , Anna , was very helpful and lovely . She organized the tour very well and gave many detailed info during whole trip. Thanks a lot Anna for all . It’s very recommended.
Took good memory in halong bay thanks to tour guide Ivan, and bus driver. Guide's english was fluent so I could understand the words and have no difficulty during the tour. Driver drove saftely Food and drinks during the tour was exellent.
The tour itself was five stars, the booking company was a three star though. Among 15 others ( not in my group) we were all told it would be a private boat and tour. Instead we were combined with another 10 to 15 pp on a bigger boat. Not the end of the world because the tour itself was great . Highlight was the kayaking and just traveling through the bay. Booked the WonderBay Cruise trip with A21 agency. Smooth and enjoyable trip with WonderBay Cruise at Halong Bay. Pickup at hotel in the morning was on time with the time range specified. Ivan is our tour guide and he speaks good English. He is knowledgeable and shared history of Vietnam along the journey which makes the 3 hours bus ride less boring. Things to note is that plastic bottled water or plastic bag is not allowed into cruises by government regulation. One improvement that can be improved is the lunch on the cruise. The variety is good but some food are hard probably due to over cooking (e.g. the chicken meat). Overall our first time cruise experience at Halong Bay was a good and memorable one.
Our cruise and inclusive activities made for a memorable day for all the right reasons. Our ship was spacious and comfortable and lunch was a delicious fusion of western and traditional Vietnamese flavours. The day was jam packed with activities including kanoeing, hiking and cave exploring - making the trip a “worth it” experience. Ivan our tour guide, our driver and cruise ship crew were hospitable, friendly and engaging which made the experience even better.

Hung Tour guide is very friendly and attentive. He provided a lot of information. Boat Service and Lunch was very good and delicious. The Kayak and Bamboo was good organized! All in all our Halong Bay trip was a full success and we can recommend it! We enjoyed the beautiful day!

I’m with my Wife- we from Poland to travel the North of Vietnam. Today we had a great time with Ivan- our guide who very helpful through out the trip. And also Mr. Tuan driver is the man of the day we get on the Wonderbay Cruise with great services from staffs. We enjoyed lunch and magnificent halong bay. Our trip was very comfortable from beginning to end. This cruise was very pretty and our tour guide took excellent care of us! The activities were interesting and we had enough time to enjoy them. On the way back we got beautiful sunset views. Everything was exactly as advertised. Definitely recommend this tour if you are looking to visit Halong Bay.

My family and I had a comfortable and wonderful time with Wonderbay. The staff members were friendly and helpful. They served many delicious and the food was good. Our tour guide especially was professional and very attentive to our needs and queries. He even helped us to book a taxi from the pier to our hotel after our Halong Bay day cruise. We are booked on the 1 day Halong Bay tour with Wonder Bay cruise tour on 28th November 2019. In the morning at 7am,we were collected and greeted by the Guide, Wendy on a Limousine bus and head off to Halong Bay. We have learned alot from her during the tour because she explains everything in detail about Hanoi, Halong Bay and the islands surrounding it. She is really cute in her explanation and guidance.. Overall experience, we are impressed with her and felt that we learnt something out of this tour.
Myself and my partner had an amazing day cruising around Halong bay, taking part in a load of different activities. We were collected at 8am from our hotel by the lovely Anna, our tour guide for the day. We then travelled to the bay on the luxury bus which was well worth the money. Air con, wifi, charging ports, loads of space and free water. Once arriving on the boat we had an amazing spread of vietnamese food. Plate after plate! At the bay we got to trek up to see a stunning view of the bay. Well worth it as the weather wasn't sunny enough to warrant swimming instead. We then walked through the surprising cave. Some amazing photo oppurtunities in here. We finished things up with 30 minutes of kayaking which was great fun. Amazing day out and Anna was a great guide to have.
Outstanding in every way, ivan our guide very friendly and helpful. Scenery beautiful. Brief activities all very fun and added to the trip. Lunch was very good and plenty of food. Highly recommend spending at least one day at ha long with wonderbay.
I had booked with GoAsia travel very last minute as I didn’t have much time in Halong Bay. Maya helped me with all the details but when I got to the Marina, my tour guide that was supposed to meet me, could never find me and ended up leaving. I was very upset but Maya was trying to help me with the whole process. She tried to give me an option for the next day (I couldn’t bc I had to fly out), she had tried to find other tour groups to take me, and she even kept checking on me throughout the entire day once I found a cruise to make sure I loved it. On our way back to the hotel, she had already told the staff that our cab fees were covered and constantly tried to make our time in Halong Bay special even though i never got to meet her and things didn’t work out. None of which were her fault. I am so thankful for these sweet woman and she made me feel like she genuinely cares about everyone she comes in contact with, regardless of the person/money. She instantly gave me a refund and made everything so easy for me. Thank you for giving me a piece of mind and making sure everything worked out. These people are great and I hope I am able to tour with you all one day!
James is the best Ha Long Bay guide! Not only is he helpful, but he's also funny! We had a great time with him. The bay is truly amazing, although not all the activities are not that intense.
Hi, we booked a trip where the company came To our hotel and drive je to ha long bat. Our guide was hung. Je serais very good english, and led us through the tour very well. He told us stories about the area. He was very pleasant. Rte boat itself is quite spacious. The food was good. The crew was Nice. We performed the kayak activity. Really a good idea. You can paddle away from the tour boats and get a better view of nature around. I recommend this tour and the company. Paul

I have traveled alone and recommend Harung Bay. A friendly guide, the bus driver helped us to finish our trip safely, and we take a good look at the Harong Bay. Couple. Solo. The whole family can be pleased to come. Cruise meals are the best!
Hotel pick-up was convenient and the limousine was really nice. There's USB charging and wifi. Lunch was usually good and abundant. The tour is easy to use and the guide is very friendly!

I had a friend from abroad who was consulted because there was not much time, so there was a day tour. Probably the first time I came here, so I wanted to leave a good memory to my friend and chose a luxurious tour cruise Wander Bay. It was so good. The view of Harong Bay is really beautiful. When we returned after the entire schedule, the sun was just out. It was really great to see Noah on a boat. Friends were very good. Pistols.
It was so nice that James was kind to guide. When I was eating, I was walking around and writing, and it was kind and nice to experience.
