It takes 1 hour spend to climbing up the top of mountain to enjoy Ninh Binh Lanscape of mountainous, river and city views. You also hang around at the foot of the mountain to see lotus farm and dry cave.
It is the second biggest pagoda in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. You see the huge Buddhist statues and nice views.
Trang An is one of nature world heritage as UNESCO recognized in 2015. You enjoy the sampan boat trip for almost 3 hours to pass Emerald water caves.
Wonderful place with unique topography, ha long on land describes it correctly. Multiple caves and pahodas with centeal majestic one with water lilies around. Check your packgae for boat trip for stopping at pahodas included or not. Must visit.

As others have mentioned there was an awkward moment at the end of the tour when all guests were asked to leave a five star rating as we had tea. The company should invest their time in caring for their employees and paying them properly from the jump instead of pushing them to do this to guests for performance (?) based pay. This was not a five star tour. It was an average tour. Not good and not bad and covered the main sights in Ninh Binh with below average food for Vietnam. The tour cut corners by putting my boyfriend and I in the same boat with a solo traveler to save a few dollars. All other couples were alone and we were not asked if we were okay with that before the tickets were bought and were told as we were shuffled into the boat. We traveled far and wanted a private moment together. The guide was fine otherwise but this is what happens when you don't pay people enough. They cut corners for cash.
Our trip to Ninh Binh was incredible! Our guide Peter was excellent. He was engaging and thoughtful and was able to manage our group on a timeline all while keeping it fun. Trang An was beautiful, as was the hike at Mua Cave. The temple was impressive. We would recommend this trip to everyone!

International group with top guides, devided into two Groups. Therefore the guide Rose could explain to me all the questions I asked her. There were three activities sturing the daytrip. I enjpyed the Trang An boat trip the most. Highly recommend.

I went for a day trip expecting crowds and a rushed feeling but got one of the best trips! The group was so small, felt very private. The car great, itinerary interesting and not too rushed. I absolutely loved Trang An rowing experience, felt like in a movie set - lush sky-high peaks, turquoise waters, calm, quiet, hidden temples. And nothing would be so interesting without our guide - Loan. She's a treasure! Spoke great English, had bubbly and easy personality, made us feel like a great group. It was lovely to learn about Vietnam, the language, the culture, the Buddhism. Highly recommended, I had amazing time.
My Ninh Binh day trip was the best because of Loan, our tour guide. She's the best! She knows so much not only about the places we visited but also about Vietnamese culture, history, religion, food, etc. I loved hearing the stories and appreciating Vietnam even more. Our limousine was AMAZING, very comfortable and spacious. I also like that the tour group is only small, so we all had chance to talk to Loan and not feel too crowded in the places. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our day trip was guided by Loan who was really excellent tour guide. Her English was very good, and her personality very kind with real interest towards everybody in the group. Positive surprise! :) The program was excellent, the boat trip is a must! Wonderful places to discover by boat, by bus and by bike. If somebody is fit enough the higher mountain should be included - however it is almost 500 steps to hike.
We had TUYET as tourguide. She was very friendly and took her time to let us enjoy the environment. We liked Trang an the most and we will come back next time.
The tour as itself was great, but the tour guide, her English was very bad, so it was hard to understand what she said. As we had Mua Caves at the end of the tour, we were put on another bus, which was not mentioned anywhere. We were told very late in the tour that we were changing tour bus and guide. The tour guide, his English was great though. Leo was very fresh and cool! :)

It was a full day trip but filled with fun activities. The hike up to Mua cave was challenging, prepare to climb about 500 stiff steps up with not much shade. But the view up there is definitely worth it! Also the boat ride in Tam Coc was fantastic, so relaxing and the view is gorgeous. We were able to see the farmers harvesting the rice which was very nice. You may consider taking the tour when the weather is a little bit cooler as it was hot for us to hike Mua Cave. Overall, it’s a good tour. The tour guides (Rose’s team) were excellent. We enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommend!!!
The weather was too humid at 40C but tour guide Annie was very accommodating (with free water bottles from time to time and looking for places to cool down). We learned a lot about Vietnam and Ninh Binh. There's wifi inside the mini-bus.
I booked the tour from hostel it was amazing everything was perfect,weather,tour guide (Called Rose),Vietnamese food. I would recommend everything went well.
The temple was really big and amazing. The food after was a bit disappointing. The caves were amazing. You get on small boats oared by a vietnamese local and embark on a river. All nice and all but then it turns amazing. Boating through a series of caves that just take you through the mountains and then skull island. I very highly recommend this tour. I am a 61 year old male and went with my 25 year old daughter. She loved it too! I had to miss out on the final 500 step tour due to health concerns, but my daughter raved about it and showed me photos.
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic day filled with a lot of activities with great value for money. Rose was an awesome guide, I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone.- plus just a tip, bring a change of clothes to change into after, you get very sweaty from the temple climb :)
Rose was beyond amazing during the one day trip to Ninh Binh. She was funny, warm, knowledgeable, and had great English. I honestly had the best time ever!!! And i rarely go on tours because Id rather do things less touristy. I highly recommend taking this tour. It was different and not just the standard Ha Long bay experience. I loved the boat experience singing karaoke w these two Vietnamese girls i met on the tour. And riding the bicycles was so much fun. Each temple was a vastly different experience. Definitely take this tour!!
Thanks to Rose this was by far the best experience in my hole month traveling through Vietnam. Her patience and not trying to rush the group through the sites made it very enjoyable. Wonderful and incredible experience and will definitely take any tour that has Rose as a guide.

I was impressed by the limestone mountain massif in Trang an Inland Ha long bay surrounded by the river. The picturesque countryside landscape is so good to enjoy cycling n roaring the paddles around. Very peaceful n relaxing. Rose our tour guide is a great guide! She made the whole tour the perfect one!! There was even little hiking, so very diverse n interesting!! Highly recommend this tour.

This trip was by far amazing! Despite only having one day to do the tour and was very eager to explore many sights - especially Bich Dong Pagoda and the Lying Dragon Mountain; the tour provided that AND more. The tour was super affordable and great on value given how much was done in just a single day! Thanks to the efforts of Rose, my private group was able to do a wide range of activities including boat rides, hiking and biking. The tour was well organised due to the order that it was arranged in and the time spent on each activity. Thanks to Rose's informed knowledge on the history of Ninh Binh and other associated topics such as Buddhist faith in Vietnam; the trip was not only eye opening but also mind opening! Oh and not to mention, her English was very good! Not only was Rose and the driver accommodative to our needs, but they were always on the constant lookout for us - whether that be asking if we needed to go to the toilets or patiently waiting for us to take photos.

We got on a clean and good air- conditioned Van with only 8 persons on tour. The guide introduced us full information about Vietnam, culture and people. We had 4 places to visit in one day: Hoa Lu King Temple, Tuyet Tinh Coc -new place opening with a majestic blue lake in the centre of green limestone mountains, Tam Coc boat trip on river and biking to see ancient pagoda. It was worth for one day tour with public price 60$. I would recommend this company to everyone!
It must be the most exciting tour I got in Vietnam. Ninh Binh is so amazing, and the photos can tell you a thounsand words about this place. The tourguide, Tan, spoke decent English and very professional. He arranged 5 activities on the tour for us: temple, hiking, boat tours, visiting Tuyet Tinh cave with a very good time management. Great tour!

Tan Coc is beautiful. It's worth it. We did a lot of things in just one day. We ended up exhausted, but we knew impressive places. Rose, the Guide was very funny and loving. We had a lot of fun. For the price we paid, everything we did is business.
