My 7-day Vietnam trip was amazing. Exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter, cruising Ha Long Bay, walking across Da Nang's Golden Bridge and wandering Hoi An's lantern-lit streets were unforgettable experiences. Ho Chi Minh City's War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Markets were highlights, too. Our friendly, helpful staff made every stop more enjoyable and the itinerary ran smoothly despite crowds. Best of all, there were no surprise fees. I'd highly recommend this tour to first-time visitors wanting to experience Vietnam's top highlights in just one week.

This tour offered the perfect introduction to Vietnam. Hanoi felt vibrant and historic, especially visiting One Pillar Pagoda and exploring the busy Old Quarter streets. Moving on to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc allowed us to slow down and enjoy peaceful countryside views. Ha Long Bay completely lived up to its reputation. Sailing between limestone islands, exploring Sung Sot Cave, and relaxing onboard while watching the sunset created some of my favorite travel memories. In Danang, Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge were stunning, especially when clouds moved around the mountains. Hoi An at night was simply magical colorful lanterns everywhere and such a relaxing atmosphere.

The structure of this tour was excellent. We started in Hanoi, where the visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature gave a strong introduction to Vietnam's history. I appreciated the guide's clear explanations and the calm pace. In Ninh Binh, the boat ride through Tam Coc was peaceful, surrounded by limestone cliffs and rice fields. Climbing Hang Mua was physically demanding, but the panoramic view from the top was worth it. The overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay was a highlight. Paradise Sails offered comfortable cabins, good food, and a well organized itinerary. Kayaking at Luon Cave and exploring Surprise Cave were memorable. The tour was well paced, informative, and ideal for travelers who value natural beauty and historical depth.
I found the cultural elements of this tour thoroughly engaging. Tran Quoc pagoda, the Presidential Palace, and the Temple of Literature, were steeped in history. The guide spoke excellent English and provided thoughtful context. In Hoi An, the basket boat ride in Cam Thanh village was delightful. The locals were cheerful and welcoming, and the experience felt authentic. Walking through the lantern lit streets of the old town was charming, and Hoi An Memories show was a grand production with impressive choreography and storytelling. The hotels in Hanoi and Da Nang were clean and comfortable, and the domestic flight was smooth. This tour offered a rich cultural experience with warm hospitality throughout
Vietnam's rivers carried me through wonder. In Ninh Binh, i drifted through Tam Coc, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and golden rice fields. The boat rower used her feet to paddle, singing softly as we passed through caves. Days later, I was in Cam Thanh, riding a basket boat through a coconut forest. The guide spun us in circles, laughing as water splashed and palm leaves danced overhead. These weren't just boat rides, they were windows into local life, into nature's quiet magic. Vietnam's waterways don't just connect places, they connect people.
Ha Long Bay felt like stepping into a fantasy. I kayaked into Luon Cave, where monkeys peeked from cliffs and silence echoed through emerald waters. Then i climbed through Sung Sot Cave, a cathedral of stone and light, with chambers that felt like nature's own theater. The next morning, i woke up on a cruise, watching the sunrise paint the bay in gold. Days later, i was in Da Nang, gliding up to Ba Na Hills on a cable car, watching clouds roll beneath me like waves. And there it was, Golden Bridge, held by giant stone hands, floating above the mist. I walked slowly, trying to absorb every surreal detail. Nearby, Linh Ung Pagoda stood peacefully, with the Lady Buddha gazing out over the sea. Vietnam's nature isn't just stunning, it's cinematic, spiritual, and humbling. Every landscape felt like a story, and i was lucky enough to be part of it.
In Ha Long Bay, I paddled through Hang Luon, where monkeys peeked from cliffs and silence echoed in the cave. Later in Cam Thanh, i rode a basket boat through coconut groves, spinning in circles as the boatman laughed. What struck me most was the warmth of the people smiles, stories, and spontaneous songs. Vietnam's beauty isn't just in its scenery, it's in the hearts of those who live there.
Hoi An stole my heart. By day, i wandered through yellow walled alleys and ancient houses. By night, the town glowed with thousands of lanterns floating on the river. I joined locals in releasing one with a wish written on paper. At the night market, i tasted grilled skewers and bought handmade crafts. The vibe was gentle, romantic, and timeless. It felt like stepping into a living painting, one that welcomed me with open arms
Waking up on a cruise in Ha Long Bay, I ventured into Tuan Chau island, its massive chambers and dripping stalactites felt like nature's cathedral. Later, I flew to Da Nang, a coastal city buzzing with energy. The highlight? walking across the Golden Bridge, held by giant stone hands above the clouds. It was surreal, like stepping into a fantasy world. Vietnam's landscapes constantly shift, from mystical caves to futuristic architecture, and i loved every moment.
Hanoi's old quarter was a sensory feast, motorbikes weaving through alleys, the scent of grilled meat, and the chatter of locals. I sat on a tiny stool and tried bun cha, smoky pork with noodles and herbs, just like Obama did. That night, i watched a water puppet show, where wooden figures danced on water to live music. It was whimsical, funny, and deeply Vietnamese. This city doesn't just welcome you, it pulls you into its story
In Cam Thanh, i hopped into a round bamboo boat, gliding through coconut forests while locals performed tricks and sang folk songs. It was playful and heartwarming. At Hoi An's market, i bargained for spices and silk, guided by the cheerful banter of vendors. Later in Da Nang, i visited Linh Ung Pagoda, where the giant Lady Buddha stood peacefully above the sea. Vietnam's spiritual calm and vibrant daily life blend beautifully, it's a rhythm i'll never forget. Oh and i forgot 1 thing, food in Hoi An very gooddddd
Exploring Vietnam's ancient soul began in Hoa Lu, the country's first capital. The temples nestled between limestone mountains whispered stories of kings and warriors. Then came Hang Mua, after climbing hundreds of stone steps, i stood atop a dragon shaped peak, gazing over Tam Coc's endless rice fields. Pure magic. Days later, I wandered through Hoi An's lantern, lit alleys, where every corner felt like a postcard. The blend of history and charm made me feel like time had paused just for me
In Da Nang, i took a cable car up to Sun World Ba Na Hills. The view was breathtaking, clouds floating beneath us like cotton. At the top, the Golden Bridge stretched out like something from a fantasy film, held by giant stone hands. I walked slowly, soaking in the surreal beauty. Nearby, Linh Ung Pagoda stood peacefully, with a towering Buddha watching over the sea. The blend of modern design and spiritual calm made this day unforgettabl
Cruising through felt like entering a dream. The emerald waters and towering limestone islands were surreal. I kayaked into Luon cave, a quiet cave surrounded by cliffs and monkeys watching from above. Then we explored Sung Sot, a massive grotto with dramatic rock formations lit in colorful hues. Each chamber felt like a hidden world. The boat crew shared legends of dragons and sea spirits, adding a mystical touch. It wasn't just sightseeing, it was storytelling through nature.
On my first trip to Vietnam, i was amazed by its depth of culture and natural beauty. In Hanoi, temple of literature offered a peaceful glimpse into Vietnam's scholarly past. Then in Ninh Binh, i drifted through Tam Coc's limestone cliffs and rice paddies, like sailing through a painting. Later in Hoi An, i joined a cooking class, made fresh spring rolls, and shared laughs with locals under glowing lanterns. Vietnam wasn't just a destination, it was a heartfelt experience
This trip to the North helped me learn more about the nation's history. I visited the Temple of Literature, feeling the solemn atmosphere of Vietnam's first university. Then, I went to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, which was once the country's capital. Finally, I went to Tam Coc to admire the peaceful scenery. The tour guide gave us a deeper insight into Vietnamese history and culture
Ha Long Bay truly deserves its title as a world natural heritage site. My family and I took a Ha Long Bay cruise and explored many stunning caves. Surprise Cave, true to its name, left my family in awe of its magnificent stalactites. We also visited Ti Top Island, climbing to the top to see the panoramic view of the bay. Our guide led us to explore many places and told us interesting stories about each landmark
My boyfriend and I had truly new experiences in Hoi An. We tried paddling a Cam Thanh coconut boat, where locals taught us how to row and catch crabs. It was a fun and intimate experience with nature. In the evening, we walked around the shimmering Hoi An Ancient Town under the lantern lights. The tour created opportunities for us to interact with local people, which I really enjoyed.
I decided to treat myself to a short trip to Da Nang. I visited Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a giant statue of the Goddess of Mercy facing the sea. The scenery here was so sacred and peaceful. Then, I went to Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge and watched the Dragon Bridge spit fire and water. The tour guide was very supportive throughout the trip, always ready to answer any questions I had
Ha Long Bay is definitely my favorite destination on this trip. Sailing on the Ha Long Bay cruise and witnessing nature's masterpieces firsthand was an unforgettable experience. We visited Dau Go Cave and explored Luon Cave by a small bamboo boat. This trip felt like a symphony of nature and humanity. I was particularly satisfied with the tour because all the services were of high quality, from the cruise cabin to the meals
This was my first trip to Da Nang and Hoi An. I was truly surprised by the city's development. We had a romantic evening watching the Dragon Bridge spit fire and water. The next morning, my whole family had a blast at Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge. The travel agency organized the tour very professionally, with everything from transportation to accommodation carefully arranged
This tour exceeded my expectations. The street food was incredible. I especially loved the bun bo and egg coffee. The Ha Long Bay overnight cruise was incredible. Waking up to the misty bay and waiting for the sunrise was magical, and Sung Sot Cave was even more impressive in real life than in photos. Some days felt a bit rushed, especially when transitioning between locations. But overall, the tour was fantastic. Highly recommended!
Vietnam is even more beautiful and modern than I imagined. In the entire tour, some days had rain but it was short, feel so lucky. Ninh Binh was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The boat ride in Tam Coc was peaceful, with towering cliffs on both sides. You have to take a climb to Mua Cave. The view and atmosphere are the best in this tour. Locals are so nice, they asked if we had fun or not and told us some fairy stories about the attractions.
I just finished a 7 day tour in Vietnam and it was one of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever taken! It began in Hanoi and on the first day I went to many places. The One Pillar Pagoda was impressive, but smaller than I expected and very busy. Walking through the Hanoi Old Quarter at night was an absolute delight! The streets were bustling with lots of stalls on the street. I also visited the iconic Golden Bridge, I was so excited and it was 100% worth what I expected.
Cam thanh village in this trip was such a vibe! We hopped into these round basket boats, and the local fishermen showed us how they catch fish using traditional nets. But the best part? They spun the boats in circles like crazy! I was laughing so hard I almost fell into the river. The Nipa palm forest was so peaceful, and the locals were super friendly. 10/10 experience... would do it again!
Vietnam took me by surprise in the best way possible. Ha Long Bay has nature at its Best. Sailing through limestone cliffs felt unreal. Kayaking in Luon Cave was peaceful, just us and the sound of nature. Sung Sot Cave was a masterpiece of nature with its colorful rock formations. Floating above the clouds on the cable car in Ba Na Hills was breathtaking. The Golden Bridge, with its giant stone hands, was even more impressive when I saw it. By day, I explored Hoi An's charming yellow streets, and by night, the river glowed with lanterns. The basket boat ride in Cam Thanh was a fun, unexpected adventure, and the Hoi An Memories Show brought history to life in a stunning way.
the best thing is I watch the Hoi An memories show, just love it and dont know how to describe amazing it is. Other attractions in this tour are also beautiful, meticulous buildings. I never saw any beautiful things than the Surprise Cave. How can this cave exist in the earth. Can wait to be back and explore more about this lovely country.
Last time I did a short trip with my friends, and it was so good that I HAD to come back Vietnam for a full-week tour. it was WORTH IT! We hit up the most stunning places...beaches, rivers, temples, and even cute little villages where I got to see how locals fishing. And the food was so much variety! Some flavors were new to me, but honestly, that’s what made it fun. When the trip ending I was like, “One week? NOT ENOUGH” I need more Vietnam in my life. Now I’m back in Singapore grinding hard just to save up for round 3!!!!!!!!!
This trip provided me with so many exciting experiences in Northern and Central Vietnam. I was particularly impressed by the feeling of sitting on a boat in Tam Coc and the round boat experience in Hoi An. Oh, and the show in Hoi An was amazing too! The night squid fishing on the cruise in Ha Long Bay was also very interesting, even though I didn't catch anything, haha! I was especially taken by the bridge shaped like two hands at Ba Na. The atmosphere there was very cool, a nice change from the hot weather in the city. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Vietnam!
