Su did great, nice views and great experience.
Su was a great tour guide, showed us the place and I highly recommend it
Excellent Trip, with the super guide Sú. Perfect itinerary.
Trip was fantastic, su our host was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and very informative. Tour was well paced, and you could learn a lot from Su. I would reccomend to anyone
Just finished an amazing trek through the Sapa rice terraces. The views were truly breathtaking and the cultural immersion was unforgettable. A massive thank you to our guide, Su, and the whole team! Su was so knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we were safe and comfortable every step of the way. The entire team made the logistics seamless.
Our trip to Sapa was great. We had Pang as a guide for Cat Cat Village - she was so friendly and organized. On Day 2 we had Ly as a guide who took us on a 15km trek through 3 villages, rice fields, exploring incredible off the beaten track spots - absolutely incredible. We loved learning about local customs and traditions from Pang. Thank you for an unforgettable experience 🙏
We were accompanied by a tourist guide called Su. She was amazing the whole tour (2 days). Always looking out for our best interests both on the field and on the homestay, making sure we were confortable and fed. She showed us both the rice fields, bamboo forest and the waterfall where we did the trekkings. She prevent quite some falls (🤣🤣) by giving us an helping hand. I highly recommend anyone to give a try to these experiences, specially asking to be guided by Su. We had an amazing time and memorable experience! Enjoy!
We had a great tour in Sapa. Sue was a great tour guide and she gave us some great knowledge of the local area. Even when the weather was bad we still had a great time.
Had such an amazing tour with our guide of the day, Su.. she was so helpful and guiding us, sharing her lovely village story with us.. definitely will come again for a different tour.
Su was a great guide. Great homestay too. Lots to see in Sapa, beautiful mountain ranges. Wear good shoes though, can get muddy!!
Zeze was an excellent tour guide taking us on diverse trails and showing us excellent views of Sapa. Homestay accommodation was also good food, wifi and facilities.
CAT was an amazing girl guide. Thank to much for this two days. I spend a very good time with you and our team. The homestay was great !!!
Amazing food, accomodation and the guide Su was so kind and helpful! Highly recommend, the walks of the rice fields, bamboo forest and mountains were amazing!
Mu was a very friendly guide and gave lots of interesting information about the place. A lot of rice fields and big mountains along the way.
We had a very nice experience! Our tour lady Sú was very kind and talkactive. We loved the trekking but the only bad thing was the weather, maybe january is not the best time of the year.
The views were amazing.our guide VU explain everything to us and was very helpfull with natives.thanks very much ...Will be in our memories
Su was an amazing guide. She had amazing english, describing village life in Sapa and Hmong culture. She also took great photos of us
This was a great trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more unique travel experience visiting some of Vietnam’s rural villages. Our guide, Cat, was very insightful and knowledgable about her and the other local tribes, and it was really cool to learn what life is like in rural Vietnam. The trip starts with a 6-hour night bus ride from Hanoi, which is an experience on its own! The seats are definitely on the smaller side - if you’re 6’ or taller, it won’t be the most comfortable ride. Having said that, we had a different sleeper bus on the ride back, which had slightly bigger and more comfortable seats - I actually slept almost the whole ride back even though it was day/evening time. so it may just depend on which bus you get. The highlight of the trip is obviously trekking through the mountains turned to terraced rice patties, a beautiful site no matter what season you visit. We visited in December, so it was definitely on the wetter/cooler side. We rented rain boots from a local shop in Sa Pa, which saved us from having to toss our shoes. I would definitely recommend this if you aren’t prepared to completely cover your own shoes/boots in mud. The hiking trail this time of year is very muddy and slick, but honestly pretty fun to navigate through. Our guide and some other local villagers assisted us throughout the more challenging spots. It is worth noting the other village women will try to sell you handmade goods once you’re through the tougher part of the trek - it’s up to you whether to buy anything or not. However, they were extremely helpful and nice people, and it’s a pleasure they are willing to share their home with strangers. Our homestay was cozy. The owners were very nice and welcoming, and the bungalows where couples stay were great. However, as I mentioned earlier, it was cold during our visit, and the rooms do not have heat. So make sure you prepare accordingly! There was a heating mat under the sheets in the bed, which made sleeping comfortable. But otherwise, the rooms were chilly. If you went a different time of year, it would be more comfortable (the room had a fan for warmer months). If you visit Hanoi, particularly during the May-September timeframe when the rice fields are full, this is a must-do trip!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trekking adventure through the villages outside Sa Pa, with Cat as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and insightful to hers and the other local tribes’ custom, traditions, and history. The mountains and rice fields surrounding this area are breathtaking, and it’s really cool to see all the buffalo, chickens, and other animals roaming freely. The home stay was welcoming, though chilly in the winter months! Pack appropriately!
Very nice trip. Very nice tour guide. Very nice experience. The food is good. The trekking is a little bit tiring but enjoyable. The temperature is so cold.
We are so grateful with su our tour guide. It was a nice trekking. A lot of beautiful scenenary. A lot of calories burn. God bless su
Cat was an excellent guide. I am quite unfit and there were locals there with her to assist me with some of the tricky obstacles. The views are definitely worth the effort! We went the “nature” option and it was beautiful.
The trip was really amazing. The guide Mu was so friendly and talked about all the habits in the village, which was really interesting. She also showed us all the nice places in the village and the best views. The hikes were doable and a little bit challenging. We enjoyed the most beautiful views, even for november when the rice is already harvested, it is still worth a visit!
Very nice hike. Beautiful views. And interesting to see how the locals live. Are guide May was very informative and good.
We did a 2 night - 3 day trip to sapa with Vietnam Travel Top & we couldn’t be happier, it went all smooth. The hotel they put us in was more than we expected. Our guide ‘Vu’ was amazing! Would definitely reccomend, the views and scenery are beyond amazing!
Our guide Su was wonderful. It was an amazing trekking. We saw beautiful rice terraces and bamboo forest and waterfall. The food was good and the homestay okay.
Was a really great tour, by a great guide Su who took us on a 2 day tour through the Rice Fields and villages surrounding them.
Amazing views and homestay. Some of the trek was difficult but Cat was a great guide and she made sure we were well looked after. Thanks Cat
We had a great time, our guide Su was the best!! The trekking was gorgeous, but not too hard. Definitely recommend it. They also upgraded us to a private room and the food was delicious. Beautiful location.
We had a wonderful time in Sapa thanks to a well organised plan. Our guide Khu was very informative and helpful throughout the trip, making us feel safe and well looked after. Thank you for the fantastic adventure !!
went to Sa Pa by overnight bus, it was such an experience! During our time in Sa Pa, Mu (the local tourguide) is very informative & giving us her best hospitality.
All in all it was a memorable experience. Pro: - our trekking-Tourguides were very nice, kind and spoke good English - the nature is very beautiful, the views amazing - our hotel was in a good shape - the food was alright (nothing special but nothing to complain) - the people traveling with us were very nice, we had lots of fun Contra: - the night bus was dirty - the people who organized the trip were partly unfriendly - at anytime there were dozens of people coming to you and try to sell you something - the trekkingtour was a bit short, we arrived at our hotel already at 1 pm - they asked us 3 times to please rate the trip 5 stars
Sú was a amezing guide, she was kind and explained everything we see, as well as answer the question we have. The tour is and experience you should have in Vietnam
Su was a great guide and very knowledgeable. This was a very nice trip overall. The views were incredible. I would stay away from the night bus though. The quality of the night bus is horrendous.
Sú has been a great tour guide. Very informative. We had to go back to Hanoi earlier because we start having heat rash but other than that the trip has been great
I would like to rate different parts of this trip differently: 3 Stars for the Tour Organisator: The communication was mediocre at best, they only contacted us a few hours before the bus left & ignored previous messages I sent them to inquire more info and define the pick up spot. Travel: 2 Stars: We did not get the “luxury bus” as the description states, but the most basic one, which was not very clean. We upgraded to the better bus (extra 8 dollars per person) for the way back. Homestay: 5 Stars: Cute bungalow, tasty food, friendly staff!! Tour guide / hikes: 5 Stars: Our tour guide Chang did an amazing job guiding us through the rise fields & bamboo forest, while sharing interesting knowledge about the area. Overall the trip is very recommendable especially due to the experience in the villages! The tour operator can still improve though.
Chang, our tourguide was really lovely and funny and told us a lot about living in the Sapa villages! Would definitely recommend this tour with this guide!
This was an amazing trip, made all the more special by our guide Vu. As a Black Humong women she was able to share wonderful insight into her community, whilst we walked through a unique landscape. Thanks Vu
It was a nice trekking ever……everything was so nice, the tour guide, the view, the people, the culture, such a great time in Sapa so far!
I had a great time in Sapa. Our guide Sú showed us beautiful views while explaining how life in the mountains is. She shared great anecdotes and made me learn a lot. Loved the trip!
Mai was a great guide. She gave interesting information. I woud recommend going with her. The homestay was hotelquality.
The staff at the agency is very pleasant, but the transmission of information is rather average. However, the trip to Sapa went very well; the guide Mû is lovely and very engaging when she tells the history and life of the ethnic groups. The staff at the guesthouses were also great. The only downside was the mattresses, which were as hard as wood.
Our tour guide Mu was amazing; Warm, patient and notably kind. She held a beautiful balance of being friendly without being intrusive. In March expect mud on the hikes and fog, but all part of the experience and especially fun in an energetic group. You can hire gum boots for cheap in the town, so if it rains, save your sneakers and hire the boots. Would recommend.
My partner and I had a great time trekking the rice fields of Lao Chai village. Our guide Mu was very friendly and helpful with great communication (very good English speaker). Mu as a member of the local Hmong people was able to give us lots of information about village life and customs. The homestay accommodation was more like a hotel with individual bungalows. The bed was comfortable and the electric blanket was welcome on a cold night. The massage place across the road was a bonus, I'd describe it as a basic relaxation massage - personally I prefer firmer. All of the meals provided were very filling - plenty of food! Vegetarian options available too. The spring rolls as part of the homestay were the best (partly because we helped make them). We had the opportunity to make new friends from around the world on the trek and at the homestay. During the hiking each day, we were shadowed by a number of local women who offered to help during difficult sections. If you accept their help, you're obliged to buy something from them or give a tip. I feel it's worth it, given the basic life they lead. Downsides: we were jammed into a tight space up the back of the sleeper bus - I didn't sleep much. The scenery was shrouded in mist - so heavy on day 2 you couldn't really see anything. If I were to do it again, I'd go just before rice harvest when the terraces are full of green rather than muddy puddles.
Cat was amazing! Very knowledgeable and great English. Trek was great so beautiful. Not for the faint hearted though can be pretty tough. Highly recommend.
This tour was 10/10. The trekking was fun and the homestay was nice. Our tour guide Su was very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend if you’ve got a few days in Sapa.
Really enjoyed this trip. The night bus from Hanoi to sapa was comfortable and clean. Our guide khu met us in sapa, Khu was very informative, friendly and helpful. The homestay was comfortable and the meals were good.
Our guide, Khu, was very knowledgeable and helpful with our two day trekking adventure. We highly recommend this adventure as you see and experience many different things. The food and hotel were good.
I had a great time in Sa Pa, the trek was good as the weather was sunny in February! Our guide Khu was fantastic so friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable- highly recommend if you want to see and learn about the tribes and villages in North Vietnam!
