My overall experience with Tirant Hotel at Hanoi Old Quarter was exceptional. Just to name a few areas they have impressed me: 1) I was seated comfortably, served a drink and skewer of fruits while the front desk processed my check in. Ms Grace then explained everything I needed to know professionally. Full marks for first impression! 2) Meticulous housekeeping with no visible dust and everything I needed in place. All amenities were well maintained. 3) Breakfast with wide variety of food excellent in both taste and presentation. 4) The warm and attentive service by the hotel’s staff made my experience perfect. Their F&B Manager, Mr Chester even got me a cup of ginger tea when he saw me sneezing on my first morning there. I doubt you can find such sincere and personalised service even in international five star hotels. I also wish to thank front desk staff, Mr Panda who came to my aid when a dishonest GrabBike rider tried cheating me. He handled the situation skilfully and made that rider back off. Tirant Hotel is definitely great value for money, highly recommended for every visitor to Hanoi!

From the second we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome. Genuinely friendly, always ready to help, and it honestly made a big difference to how much we enjoyed the trip. The best part was all the recommendations they gave us. They really knew the city and pointed us toward spots we never would've found on our own. The hotel itself was comfy and welcoming!.We left with such good memories of Hanoi, and a lot of that comes down to the people there.
Brilliant hotel, incredible location, extremely warm staff. I am not sure why this is rated as 4-star hotel. It is one of the best hotels in the old quarter. Everything is walking distance - the Hoan Kiem lake, all great restaurants, the famous Cafe Giang, the Hanoi night market, etc. Don - the hotel concierge is the best! He organised everything perfectly for us and got each one right! He organised one of the best locations for us to visit Train Street, the perfect tour to Ninh Binh, our transportation needs and endless great advise. Andy and the front office team were excellent. Drew and Brian at the restaurant made each breakfast and outstanding experience. A big thanks to the entire team at Hotel Tirant and we will see you again some time soon!
Wife and I stayed at Tirant 4 nights (4-8 May). We booked Executive Suite with balcony through Flightcentre. The check-in was seemless and handled by Ken, who always addressed us by name. The bed was very comfortable with pillows that provided good support. Bathroom had ample room for 2 people to comfortably get ready. Breakfast options was great with both Eastern-style and Western-style offered. Eggs could be made to order with lots of fruit and pastry too. Plenty of srating that had a view of the city. The dining manager, I think his name was Chester, always greeted you by name and a smile. Service staff was very good. There's a rooftop dining area with a 360 degree view of Hanoi. There's also a small pool (I think about 10m x 5m) so you could cool off is you wish. Lots of cafes, eateries, shopping and bars nearby. The lake was about a 2min walk from hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel itself is right in the centre of everything you want. The room is great with fantastic view, a bit dated but all ok. The highlights here are their breakfast, skybar and most importantly STAFF. Especially IVY from the breakfast, she is fantastic, so kind and her service is exceptional.
