Solare De Monte delivered an absolute fantastic stay in Hanoi! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel instantly at home. A huge shoutout to Kim, Bryan, Tracy, Sam, Dave, and Thomas—their exceptional attentiveness and genuine warmth set a high standard for hospitality. Every single detail was taken care of with a smile, creating a wonderfully friendly and welcoming vibe throughout the entire hotel. The amenities and service were very good. Breakfast each morning was wonderful with fantastic variety, and the rooms were meticulously serviced every single day to keep everything spotless. Plus, the location couldn't be better: right in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it the perfect base to step out and explore everything Hanoi has to offer. We highly recommend Hotel Solare De Monte and look forward to returning next time we visit Hanoi.

A wonderful hotel, but what really makes it special is the people. The entire staff have been extremely kind, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Kim. After VietJet caused an unexpected change to our flight plans, we suddenly needed to reorganise our transportation for the next day. Kim immediately helped us find a solution and arrange a limousine transfer from Halong to Hanoi Airport. Her kindness, patience and willingness to help took all the stress out of the situation. It is exactly this level of personal service that you remember after a trip. Excellent hotel, wonderful staff and exceptional customer care. Highly recommended. 5/5!
We had a perfect stay in Hanoi at Solare de Monte. The location is perfect in Hanoi Old Quarter, and the facilities are second to none - spa excellent, rooftop pool perfect for a dip to cool off in the summer humidity, breakfast fantastic. But above all, the staff are what make this hotel the only place we would ever stay in Hanoi. All staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible, whether that was with local recommendations, organising baggage transport, or even how calm, professional and helpful they were when my partner needed medical attention. They couldn't have done any more. In particular we'd like to thank Lucas, Tracey, Bryan and Dave, who were all exceptional in their care and consideration during our stay. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to any and all of our friends and family, and would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to all the staff for an amazing experience.
Fantastic hotel right in the heart of the action. Short walk to the lake and other attractions like train street which takes about 10 minutes. Good selection of eateries close by too. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was super with lots of choices. Don’t be expecting to swim lengths in the pool although probably average size for a city centre hotel. Roof top bar was great with super views across the skyline. We are a family of four and booked the interconnected rooms which were brilliant for us. Only reason for 4 star and not 5 is I would say it is quite expensive compared to others we looked at during booking.
