Best to Avoid this hotel for family vacation. Limited positives and a lot of negatives - I booked a junior suite room for 3 nights and felt stuck with my decision. Positives: walkable to train street, breakfast spread, staff and top floor location is good, bathroom was newly done. Negatives: small alley to the hotel not on main road so taxi won't drop you to the entrance, no staff at hotel to help with luggage - self service, no security either, floor walkway is cramped, rooms are very dim and make you depressed, AC unit was very old and visible dirt on filter restricting cooling ability, room size felt too small for 2 people to walk together, standing balcony was stinky Felt more like it's for bagpackers than family hotel for vacation - Definitely Avoid. I could see much better hotel options in this budget at walking distance.

One of the worst propeties out there they 1st showed wrong room photo and provided a different one. Plus their lift was off for 2 days and we had to walk down 9 floor daily. Even while checkout lift was off and we were carrying our luggage down and this is even after informing prior we want guys to help but they only had 1 guy and he said i can only take one luggae down rest your call. Please be aware guys
My stay at this property fell well short of expectations, as the on-site reality differs considerably from the promotional photos. While the location is convenient and the staff are inherently polite and welcoming, the hotel struggles significantly with upkeep and hygiene standards. The property is in clear need of a thorough deep-clean and general refurbishment. In the guest room, the bed linens, pillowcases, and bath towels were visibly worn out and overdue for replacement. Housekeeping attention to detail was also lacking—most concerning was finding a dead insect inside the electric kettle. Furthermore, the television lacked a remote control; although this was brought to the front desk's attention, the issue was never resolved during the stay. Overall, despite the advantageous location and friendly staff demeanor, the lack of maintenance and basic follow-through noticeably detracted from the experience. Substantial operational improvements are required to bring the accommodations up to an acceptable standard.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn future guests about my experience at Singita Classy Boutique Hotel. The biggest issue was that the room initially provided to me was NOT the same as the room advertised on Agoda. The hotel kept insisting that the room had a window and a double bed, but that completely misses the point. The actual appearance, condition, and quality of the room were very different from the photos posted online. The room I first received looked old, poorly maintained, and far from “boutique” quality. Fixtures were rusty, linens and towels looked worn out and outdated, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. It honestly felt misleading because I specifically booked this hotel based on the photos shown on Agoda. What made this even more frustrating was that the hotel initially refused cancellation and kept hiding behind their “non-refundable” policy instead of addressing the real concern — that the room provided did not match the listing. Only after multiple complaints and escalation through Agoda was I transferred to another room on the second night. Interestingly, the new room finally resembled the photos advertised online. To me, this indirectly confirms that the original room assigned to me was indeed not equivalent to what was being marketed on Agoda. If the first room was truly the same standard, there would have been no need to move me. While I appreciate that they eventually transferred me to a better room, guests should not have to complain extensively just to receive the type of accommodation that was originally advertised and paid for. The location is decent, but transparency and honesty in hotel listings are extremely important. Future guests should be aware that the room you receive may not necessarily match the photos shown online unless you specifically raise concerns. I hope management improves consistency between the actual rooms and the images used on booking platforms.
I booked this hotel in central Hanoi for my parents and me and we had a great experience. Their English is not the best but the staff made everything very easy. Special thanks to Harry at the reception he was incredibly kind and helpful They also let us keep our luggage after check-out and even offered us a shower before leaving, which was really appreciated. I’ve been to Hanoi many times and usually had pretty bad experiences with cheaper hotels, so this place was a very pleasant surprise. Room was nice And and Cleen and the shower was a real shower (not easy to find here) I will come back 4sho!
