Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat

I’ve been waiting for Melia to send the review form via email but never received it, so I’m writing this myself. My family visited Melia Ba Vi the weekend of June 27th, 2026 and we had a genuinely wonderful stay. Dat at the reception desk was incredibly attentive and took the time to walk us through the different activities and attractions nearby - really appreciated that. A big thank you to Hai and Linh who guided us on the Uncle Ho Temple tour. They were respectful, warm, and looked after my child so well. Nguyet, who led the Sunday morning tour, was equally great - enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Overall, the staff here are just lovely. Everyone - from the buggy drivers to the restaurant team - always greeted us with a smile and genuinely seemed happy to help. The food was also outstanding, honestly better than expected. We will definitely be back, and next time we’re staying longer.

This is just the most magical experience! The environment, the beautiful rooms, the gorgeous pool! But as always in Vietnam, it's the staff who make it perfect. Staff at the Melia BaVi are exceptional, there's no other word. Special shout-out to the lovely Lan Anh, who made breakfast special every day. Thank you all!! We'll be back 😊

If you are seeking lush gardens, clean air (season dependent), and a bit of history, this is the spot. The hotel covers a vast space, full of adventures with flora and fauna, and some historical twists. The food is wonderful, although for longer stays the options might feel limited, and the staff is outstanding. The rooms are good, cleand and comfy. But some aspects could use updating and fixing.

We had a wonderful stay at Melia Ba Vi Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and eager to accommodate any request we had. The resort itself is beautiful and has a uniquely idyllic atmosphere. The pool and several other areas are framed by the elegant ruins of former French villas. Dinner was à la carte and the food was really good. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and elegant, you can find everything and anything you wish. While the surroundings are stunning, it was the outstanding hospitality of the staff that truly made our visit memorable. A special thanks goes to Mr Hoang Dat, who helped me so much when I wasn’t feeling well one day: through WatsApp I was able to write to him directly and have breakfast delivered to my room and he made also suggestions as to what would be better for me. We are very grateful for his kindness and effort, and we would gladly return to the resort in the future. Highly recommended!
