Media Central Hotel & Spa

The hotel was great. I came here to stay for a short trip to Hanoi and I got sick. The receptionist was very supportive and even bought me cold medicine. I will come back when I have a chance to visit Hanoi.

Chose them for the reviews, and it didnt disappoint! My parents who were particular gave this hotel a thumbs up! Big thanks to staff Selena for being so accomodating! Her service is topnotch and even made effort to remember our names~ The room is spacious and breakfast was enjoyably delicious! Would love to comeback in this hotel if got chance~

Location is best part. Bfast is good and has enough veg options. Room is decent. The positives end there. We had wifi issues at nights for 2 nights and no wifi for 2-3hrs per night means unable to browse mobile or Tv in a room, with no window. Means you just lie down idle. Also we arrived at 830am (as all Tourist flights arrive early) and they didn’t give free early checkin. They charged money but put in another room. We paid and checked in early to get sleep till 1pm when they will shift me to my room. But 1030am they broke my sleep and called to ask if my room booked has to be twin or king (clearly mentioned in my booking) and again called 1130am to say my room ready and they want me to shift now! So my payment for early checkin was waste as I wasn’t allowed to sleep 830-1pm due to constant calling! I have no idea how this hotel gets so high ratings. At this price same location you can get better service hotels. Their Pho also tastes ordy. It’s their regular meal they shudve made better. Last time I stayed at La Palm Hotel which is cheaper and make delicious Pho.

This wasn’t my favourite hotel, it was actually very clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I liked the decor too. Breakfast was just ok - we have seen better options at other hotels. The main reason we didn’t enjoy this hotel , was that it was really noisy. We felt like we got the worst room in the hotel. It had no natural light and we were right next to the elevator & staircase. And only on the second floor - we made sure to note we requested a quiet room/high floor, I was very unwell with the flu and wanted to rest. But I couldn’t as there was constant noise and shouting from the staff on the ground floor. I didn’t want to appear unreasonable and gave it a few hours, but then I went and said. Noise travels way too easily up the stairwell onto level 2 from other guests and the staff on the ground floor. I was glad we only had one night here, as I couldn’t have dealt with the noise. There were also drums in the morning coming from somewhere. Too noisy for us unfortunately. We stayed at another hotel near here two days before (Leman Old Quarter Hotel), it was cheaper and we felt it was so much quieter and peaceful. Unfortunately, it was sold out so we couldn’t extend.
