We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel furniture and towels are old, toilet drawers are broken and the electrical features like lamp switch are going to fall from its place soon. They don’t open the AC on Corridors which is very hot in a city like Hanoi. The people are nice but they don’t speak English very well, and they barely can understand you which is not expected from hotels for Lotte. The restaurant doesn’t not have options. Underneath the hotel there is lotte department store can support with snacks I recommend people booking the other Lotte hotel near the Lotte mega mall at least they have good food options

Had a great stay at Lotte Hotel Hanoi. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, shopping, and convenience stores within walking distance. It’s a great base for both business and leisure travelers. One thing I particularly appreciated was having wellness options right inside the building. I tried a massage at Fuji Spa and also at TRE Boutique Spa on the 7th floor. While both were good, I personally preferred TRE for its calmer atmosphere and more attentive service. A special thank you to Ms. Lyn at TRE Boutique Spa for her warm hospitality and professionalism. Comfortable rooms, great facilities, and a very convenient location. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Hanoi.
The hotel occupies the upper floors of a 65-story mixed-use tower in the Ba Dinh business district, so the views are decent and the Lotte Mart downstairs is convenient. The rooms are modern and the bathroom is clean. That said, the location is not ideal for sightseeing as Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter require a ride. The hotel strictly enforces a 3PM check-in. I arrived at 2:30PM and was told the room was ready but needed manager approval before I could enter. I have stayed at many five-star properties and have never heard this explanation before. The bigger issue was inconsistent service. On day one, the front desk at ground floor accepted my food delivery and sent it up to the room, which was much appreciated as my wife was unwell. On day two, a different staff member refused to accept the delivery at all and told me to wait downstairs. Same hotel, completely different policy depending each staff’s willingness. For a five-star property, this is not acceptable. If the answer is no, say no consistently. Do not leave guests guessing. The hardware is solid. The service needs work.
A fantastic hotel! I stayed in this city for 6 days, and each day I felt completely relaxed returning to the hotel! The facilities were excellent, and the front desk staff were kind. This is a highly recommended upscale hotel! By the way, remember to visit the nearby attractions; they'll offer unique experiences. I had a wonderful trip 🥳, and I'll definitely come back for my next vacation. Thank you to your team; you worked so hard! 👍
Fantastic hotel with great service, impeccably clean, and superb A/C (which in the Hanoi summer means a lot). A superb hotel gym as well, with multiple barbells and smith machines. Great base for tourists to be in — distant enough from the old quarter for some relative serenity, and close enough to do things. You’re not too far from Tay Ho etc as well. The fact that you’re right at a Lotte Mall with plenty of great restaurants (a pizza 4P and LCLC) and a grocery too makes this impossible to beat. Hotel breakfasts are great but standard-fare.
