L Hotel Du Lac Hanoi

We stayed here for just one night, but that was more than enough to absolutely fall in love with this place! The location is simply perfect - right in the center of the Old Quarter, literally a stone's throw away from Hoan Kiem Lake. All the main attractions, cafes, and restaurants are within easy walking distance, yet the hotel itself remains quiet and comfortable. We slept incredibly well: the bed was super comfy, the bedding was high-quality, and the soundproofing is top-notch for a bustling city like Hanoi. The room was clean, stylish, and very cozy. A special shoutout goes to the staff. The team at the front desk and the restaurant are true superstars! They are genuinely warm, welcoming, and friendly. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, they took amazing care of us and made us feel right at home. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The selection was excellent, featuring both classic Western options and local Vietnamese dishes (highly recommend trying the Pho). Everything was fresh and well-prepared. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi!

I had a wonderful stay at L’Hotel Du Lac Hanoi. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Quarter and within easy walking distance of Hoàn Kiếm Lake, great restaurants, cafés and Hà Nội’s main attractions. What really stood out was the staff. They were extraordinary. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly and attentive, and always happy to help with anything needed. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the hotel itself has a charming atmosphere. The breakfast and the rooftop facilities are great too. Overall, a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable location and exceptional service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We stayed at L Du Lac Hotel for 3 nights, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was exceptional. The staff deserve a special mention- no matter what time of day or night, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional and always ready to help. Whether it was the reception, in-room service or the kitchen team, the level of service was genuinely 10/10. The morning breakfast was also perfect- excellent variety, fresh, delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it extremely convenient to explore the city. Everything we wanted was within easy reach. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out. Honestly, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. The experience was so good that it has genuinely set the standards too high for our future hotel stays! 😄 A huge thank you to the entire L Du Lac team for making our 3-night stay so memorable. L'Hôtel du Lac is a boutique hotel that gets it right. The location is unbeatable: steps from St. Joseph's Cathedral, steps from Hoan Kiem Lake, in the heart of the French Quarter, and a 10-minute walk to Beer Street, Train Street, and more restaurants and bars than you could ever get through. The lobby is colorful and funky, the rooms are well-appointed, and the rooftop bar has great views of the city with live music on Saturday nights. We were told a rooftop pool is coming soon — the rooftop is already worth the visit without it. Breakfast is included; there's a buffet but we mostly ordered off the à la carte menu. The beef pho and French toast were favs. But honestly, the best part of this hotel is the people. Louis is the consummate host — warm, memorable, and genuinely invested in your stay. Chloe and Travis, along with the rest of the front desk team, were impeccable. Whatever we needed, they were ready. These are the same people who took care of us last time, which says everything. If you're staying in Hanoi, this is a fantastic little find
