Staying here was the best decision we made coming to Hanoi. First I want to commend the staff at the front desk/reception. We arrived in the middle of the night, and was greeted right away by the bellman and the receptionist. We were also surprised to find out that our first room that we had booked was upgraded to our original room so we didn't have to move the next day -- this was such a thoughtful gesture, and a great way to start our vacation. Once we reached our room, we were pleased with it's size and the balcony. The room was very clean, smelled great, and the staff also prepared another surprise for us! The beds were very comfortable, which was great especially after walking around the Old and French Quarter. The room also had all the needed amenities like hand towels, face towels and bath towels that were changed every day. Our room had a balcony, and it was a nice place to chill and order in especially during the weekend when the Old Quarter gets extra crowded. Since our room was by the roadside, there was a little noise during the day but nothing too disturbing since the door to the balcony blocks it out. People can be heard from the hallway though so be mindful when walking to your rooms so not to disturb your neighbours. I like how all the staff were ready to answer any questions we had. We drank at the Sky Bar, and the staff there were very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations. The location is also great: 10 to 15 minute walk to Hoan Kiam Lake and the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. During the weekends, there's the weekend market in the same area. For the ladies, the Better Shoes store is right across, and the best donuts in Hanoi from Lim donuts is right across as well. It's a 4 minute walk to train street, and a lot of Bib Gourmand restos. When you stay here, you can definitely expect a 5-star stay, and an enhanced overall experience in Hanoi. Looking forward to bringing my family here when we visit again.
The service here was so amazing! The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful in every way. We were greeted with delicious cakes and fresh fruit tea upon arrival; simply above and beyond in hospitality and care! The pho was also the best beef pho I’ve had. The watermelon juice I had was freshly squeezed with plenty of other delicious items like bacon, fresh dragon fruit, etc. I ordered stir fried vegetables and it came loaded with yummy garlic seasonings! Would 10/10 recommend!!
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest of welcomes from the staff - they could not have done anything more for us. The room was incredibly comfortable and had everything you could need. Breakfast was also great, with the option of freshly cooked meals. Even when the air conditioning was not working properly, fans were quickly provided without even asking. Cannot fault anything about our stay. Thank you more making our stay in Hanoi so special!
I stayed here for 3 nights, and without a doubt, this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First and foremost, the reception staff are absolutely outstanding. Alex in particular is the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I actually looked forward to stopping by the front desk every day just because of him! The rooms are incredibly charming and beautifully decorated. As a solo female traveler, I also really appreciated the security features — the auto-lock doors and windows that don’t fully open gave me such peace of mind throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome sweets and drinks upon arrival were a lovely touch that made me feel truly special from the very first moment. The only minor thing I noticed was that one of the bottles used for the homemade breakfast drinks had what looked like red mold on it — possibly not fully washed. It’s a small thing, but worth mentioning for hygiene purposes. Other than that one small detail, everything was perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi, especially solo female travelers. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit!
