The hotel is in a great location, pretty much walking distance from everything in the old quarter. The staff were friendly and definitely good value for money. The rooms aren’t anything extravagant but the bed was comfy and everything was clean and working. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when in Hanoi.
Location is great. Walkable distance down to the man city attractions. Train street just around the corner. The staff was nice and polite.
However found a cockroach in my room and there is barely any noice isolation, could hear people speaking in the next room.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and kind — not scripted hospitality, but real care. As a solo parent travelling with my daughter, that meant everything. We felt safe, welcomed, and looked after in a way that allowed us to truly relax.
The rooms are beautifully styled, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with lovely light and a sense of calm that’s hard to find in the Old Quarter. Step outside and you’re immediately immersed in the energy, food, and life of Hanoi — yet inside, it’s peaceful and grounding.
This hotel isn’t flashy or generic. It has soul. If you’re looking for a place that feels human, heartfelt, and quietly special — Maison D’Hanoi is it. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Me and my husband had a fantastic time here! It’s a great location in the Old Quarter, right by train street. We booked 4 nights and decided to stay again when we came back to Hanoi after travelling to Sapa. The staff are very friendly and really looked after us! They booked two day trips for us to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay which were really good value and great tours! Thank you to all the staff for a great stay in the centre of Hanoi!
We loved our stay at this hotel! The hotel is located next to train street in the Old Quarter so it’s perfect for accessing all the sight seeing and shopping spots in Hanoi. Even though it’s located in a busy part of Hanoi the hotel is tucked away in a side street so it’s really quiet in the rooms.
The room was spacious and clean and we had a large double bed. The bathroom was also very clean and it had a separate shower to the toilet which is nice after many hotel stays with wet rooms!
The hotel management is really nice and friendly and are happy to assist you. We left our luggage here all day on the day we checked out too. Shout out to Lam for being so friendly and helpful!
Definitely recommend a stay here when visiting Hanoi ☺️
