Hanoi La Mejor Hotel & Sky Bar

Great hotel in the old district of Hanoi. The location is close to a lot of good restaurants and sights, the staff is wonderful and the food is great. We had breakfast two days and room service dinner one evening before going to the spa. They also have a nice sky bar where you can see the city in the beautiful lights at night. The beer street is close, which means a party is always nearby if you’re up for it, and there is even a great kebab stand in the middle of the beer street. Will definitely consider returning to this hotel in the future if I am in the area.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, look no further. This hotel and its sky bar were incredible. The hotel is right amongst the lively streets of the Old Quarter, with plenty of beer restaurants and bars nearby. It can be noisy outside, but we were on the 6th floor and couldn’t hear a thing from our room. The staff were incredibly kind, patient and responsive throughout our stay. The restaurant has some great options if you’re looking for something a little more refined, while the sky bar has a range of snacks and drinks available. The views from the sky bar across the Old Quarter are fantastic, and we spent several evenings there enjoying a drink. The staff were also brilliant when we got engaged during our stay. They were so helpful, took photos for us and made sure everything was perfect, even coming back afterwards to take more pictures for us. It was such a lovely touch and made the experience even more memorable. Guests can also access their sister hotel, Le Major Indochine, which has its own sky bar, two hot tubs and a wellness area. We genuinely couldn’t fault this hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

We had a really lovely stay at La Mejor Hotel & Sky Bar. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Hanoi and within easy walking distance of so many of the main sights, restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were brilliant throughout our stay: genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special mention to Linh at reception (i think that is how you spell her name), who was incredibly nice and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. All of the staff we met were lovely and really added to the experience. The food at the hotel was also really nice, and everything felt comfortable and well looked after. Would definitely recommend La Mejor to anyone visiting Hanoi, particularly if you want somewhere friendly, welcoming and close to everything. We would happily stay here again!

We had an amazing stay. Stayed here for 3 nights. From ambience to room to breakfast and all staff members very welcoming and polite. I would like to thanks Ms. Ann at reception, Trainee staff at reception and all other staff members from housekeeping restaurant and at reception greeted us so well that we definitely come back to enjoy hospitality of hotel. It’s on the perfect location, accessible to every must go corner of Beer street and Old quarter. Will definitely stay here again for my next trip and would recommend everyone to enjoy hospitality when your in Hanoi.
