We were a group of 6 travellers staying in 3 superior rooms, and unfortunately, we faced several issues during our stay. To start with, the ACs in all the rooms were not functional from the beginning. While the staff did attempt to fix them, the problem wasn't completely resolved. Two of the rooms didn’t have physical door locks, and this remained unaddressed throughout. Additionally, the bathroom locks in two rooms were also not working. One of the rooms had a faulty geyser, which was fixed later on, thankfully. Also, the property has been renamed Dahlia Hotel, so it might be helpful to check recent reviews under the new name. The rooms themselves were quite compact. With just a queen-sized bed, there was very limited space to open luggage or move around comfortably. While the hotel staff were polite and tried to be helpful, the number of unresolved issues definitely impacted our experience. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations.

Lovely place! Centralised in Hanoi Old Quarter. Weekend Night Market is just on the street to the hotel. Hoan Kiem lake is 10min walk down the road. Breakfast options are good if you eat anything. Value stay if you are looking out for an all round perfect accommodation
Luxe Paradise Residence should rather be renamed to Dirty Stinky Squat. I don't understand where the owners get the audacity to rent out accommodation in this building. After booking the Deluxe Apartment, we arrived in the evening of March 18, 2025. We found out that the entire lower part of the building was broken and under renovation. A blue tarp was stretched across the building, behind which workers drilled and hammered throughout the day. The reception—if you can even call it that—was in the garage, where a couch (or rather a den) stood next to parked motorbikes, and an English-non-speaking manager handled check-ins. He then led us through a horrifically dirty hallway full of dust and mortar debris to the so-called Deluxe Apartment, which was just as filthy, grimy, and smelly as the entire building. Instead of a lake view, we got a view of a dirty backyard. I strongly recommend everyone to stay far away from this place. It’s a scam.
There is loud banging and drilling from 7am-7pm from them refurbishing downstairs which is horrible as you get woken up every single morning. We were told in the booking we were getting a double bed and a sofa bed however our room didn’t have a sofa bed which isn’t good enough. There is COCKROACHES in the bathroom and rooms which is vile, as well as ants of some sort absolutely everywhere in the room and in the bed . We also had trouble paying for our room as we were told to give our cash to the guy in the basement who was allegedly the security, he had no uniform and didn’t speak any English so we didn’t feel safe giving 4 million+ to him. The owner said that his partner would be collecting the money the next day in the afternoon. However he turned up ringing the bell multiple times and knocking at 8:30am which was nice. The wifi is on and off so don’t rely on it. We ended up leaving early because of how awful this apartment was. And the audacity of them asking us to give a 5 star review is beyond atrocious. Do not stay here!
Perfect little hotel with staff who go above and beyond. Incredible value for money. The room was clean, modern and beautifully decorated and the location was a perfect for exploring the old quarter without having to be in the middle of the madness. There was a night market just next to the hotel the night we stayed which catered more to locals and made a nice change from tourist-centered markets. Special mention to Linda who welcomed us so warmly and accommodated our request for a room on a high floor, Nas who kindly offered recommendations and advice on how best to enjoy the local area and Stephen who was courteous, professional, helpful and spoke excellent English. Also to the chef who made the best omelette I’ve had since arriving in Vietnam! All in all, a lovely hotel and fantastic team who are always available, make you feel at home and go out of their way to help. Would highly recommend and will be back :)
