I'm really satisfied with the personal trainer Dzung of the fitness center. He's very kind and useful. My muscle feels more bigger. Especially he taught me how to work out my shoulders and arms. Thank you very much. I'll visit this hotel again thanks to the gym trainer.

Great hotel over all. New and clean room with classic luxury look. Great access to both old quarters and west side of the city.
Very charming and thoughtful service by traditional Vietnamese staff. Excellent room cleaning with fast response to requests on amenity.

The Grand Mercure is a great place to stay when you visit Hanoi. The staff is incredibly helpful and always seems to glow with joy.
The hotel offers big rooms with alot of space for your things, free wifi, many amenities, a pool and a gym. Even when we wanted to "stay in" there was alot to enjoy.
We got to train in the gym under guidance by Dzung, who gave tips on techniques and stretching. We went for a swim in the beautiful pool and enjoyed cocktails while overlooking the city.
-1 star for location simply on preferences. It is close to many sights, but for me it's simply a bit too busy. You always have alot of traffic.
I chose this hotel mainly for the fitness facilities and it did not disappoint. The gym is modern, well-equipped, and incredibly clean, with everything you need for a proper workout. My room was beautiful, very comfortable, and the bed gave me one of the best sleeps I’ve had on holiday. I will also mention the premium suite has a very proper office set up that makes me very productive!
