I would especially like to thank John, the incredibly kind and helpful front manager, who went above and beyond to assist me after I was pickpocketed at a nearby lake. John personally took me to the police station and kindly helped me with translations and communication over the course of two days. His compassion, patience, and willingness to help during such a stressful situation meant so much to me. I am truly grateful for everything he did. Thank you so much, John, for your kindness and assistance. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, right near the stunning Cathedral. I would happily recommend staying here, kind honest staff!

If you want very little sleep from noisy people then no hot water in the morning this place is for you.

I booked this hotel through Klook in March for our June stay. Before our trip, I emailed the hotel to confirm my reservation and let them know that we will be checking in late, and they responded promptly, giving me confidence that everything was in order. I stayed here with my parents and nephew in Room 201. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. While English was somewhat limited, the staff made every effort to communicate effectively, and translation apps helped bridge any language gaps, making interactions smooth and manageable throughout our stay. They even helped us with our luggage upon arrival, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hoa Lo Prison, and many of Hanoi's best coffee shops and restaurants, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again, especially for a future solo trip. The outstanding service truly made the experience memorable.

We absolutely loved our 4-night stay at Galliot Central Hotel! 🏨 Tucked away in a charming little alley, it’s a hidden gem that’s walkable to everything. We were just steps away from the iconic St. Joseph Cathedral and the famous Train Street 🚂. Foodies, take note: the legendary Eggyolk coffee is right across the street, and Dac Kim Bun Cha is just a short stroll away! After busy tour days, coming back to our clean, cozy, and homey room was the best. The staff are all sunshine and smiles, love them!☀️—they even handled our airport transfer perfectly. If you want a friendly, central base in Hanoi, this is it!
